For example, I've called in regard to two different booked trips in the past month and only ever got through to someone once (out of about 6 calls total and one unanswered text). - They tend to switch drivers day of trip due to availability and timing which I can totally understand but if you're someone who gets anxious about switch ups like that - just something to note. - There isn't really a way to modify or cancel a trip reservation easily off their website. You'd have to call but as I've mentioned, it was tough getting in touch. However! The little chat function on the website worked pretty quick and they were responsive at first in helping. Then I got ghosted mid-convo bc I think whoever on the other side thought I was done with my questions/asks. - There is a 5% cancellation fee due to the company's bank? This is regardless of time before trip. There are other reputable car service companies that give full refunds for cancellations as long as it's at least an hour before reserved time. This company is cheaper than the ones I'm thinking of so there is balance there! But can get complicated, if like me, you're booking for business trip which is an expense but hard to expense a cancellation fee on top of a different res elsewhere. But also, I had one experience where there wasn't any issues with pick up other than the driver switch which had us confused momentarily. We got over it fast and was nothing but a hiccup! But again, if you're sensitive about things like that - just something to be aware of so that nobody is surprised.

Tien was our driver both ways. He was friendly, prompt, and a good driver. He texted to confirm our pickups both times, and when we were coming back, he had tracked our flight so he was ready to pick us up at the curb. Getting a rideshare pickup at the airport can be a big hassle, and you usually have to go to a separate area. Then you have to wait for your ride, which your driver may cancel for whatever reason. But with Tri Shuttle, you get picked up in Arrivals as if you're having a friend or family member pick you up. Their customer service and professionalism were excellent (if you use rideshare, you know those qualities can be REALLY hit-or-miss), giving us more peace of mind to enjoy our trip. For our roundtrip airport transport, we confirmed twice over the phone that we needed a rear-facing car seat and a vehicle that could fit five passengers with luggage. The driver showed up without the correct car seat, and the car was too small for our bags. When we brought this up, we were told the driver "forgot." This created a stressful and unsafe ride for our baby. On our return ride, the same driver was over 20 minutes late, joked on the phone that "no one's coming," and when we asked for an ETA, gave no clear answer. When my elderly father expressed frustration, the driver threatened to leave us at the airport. This was deeply unsettling--especially since the driver knew our home address. After the trip, I spoke with Rich (the manager), who acknowledged both incidents were unacceptable and promised a refund and a free ride to make it right. Neither happened. It's not about the money--it's the principle. The broken promises and continued lack of follow-through make me feel we were lied to just to de-escalate the situation. I don't take writing negative reviews lightly, but this experience was unacceptable. This company may have good ratings, but if something goes wrong, you're on your own. This was my first time visiting Disneyland and basically my first time in California, as a tourist anyways. Disney did not offer transportation like in the past but I needed to get a transfer from LAX to Anaheim and decided to go through them because I do not know anything about the area or even how far it actually was from LA to Disney. It turns out to be quite far. Disney sent me an online form to fill out all of the details of the flights to a from CA. I not only filled out the forms but I called Disney twice to make sure it was all set. Karmel never contacted me or texted me ahead of the vacation, but I thought Disney is very organized, it must be all set. Wrong! Typically Disney is on top of things, at least they were every time I went to Florida. For this trip, I told them to pick me up at LAX at 10:00 AM. I get to the airport and call the company. Disney told them noon! I'm like "What?!!!!!" I do not want to wait outside the airport on the curb for two hours. Luckily, Karmel was very friendly and very helpful and located someone to get us within twenty- thirty minutes! This gentleman was very friendly and professional. We got a nice Suburban that took us directly to the hotel. Perfect! Then the company finally let me know they needed my number so they could text me the day before departure and then the day of when they arrived. This was never communicated to me by them or Disney. Luckily, I called them again because they did NOT have my number even after all of this. They picked me up about four hours before the flight. I did read a complain on Yelp stating they thought that would be too much time before the flight. It wasn't. It was accurate! We had a 7 AM flight, so they got us at 2:45 AM. Again, a nice, professional driver got us again in a nice Suburban. By the time we reached LAX, dropped off the luggage, went through security, got a coffee, caught a shuttle to another part of the airport and reached the game it was after 6 AM. Even super early in the morning this airport is very busy and it takes a very long time to get where you need to be. So Karmel's timing was accurate. It left only about twenty minutes time to eat breakfast before boarding the plane. Would personally use them again? Maybe. They seemed to have a good system, but only if you communicate with them directly and not rely on a company, even if it is Disney, to make the arrangements. But when you are a family with multiple suitcases and carry-ons and need to get back and forth, the large SUV's were very efficient transportation and probably a better value than booking and waiting for an Uber when you need to travel in the middle of the night.

I found Airport Rides and read the positive reviews, so I requested a quote. Within two minutes of sending my quote request, I received a phone call from a gentleman named Anthony. I provided Anthony with pertinent information, including the date, location, number of passengers, luggage information, and return transportation details. Within 15 seconds, Anthony provided me with a round-trip quote, tax, and tip for his drivers, which was hundreds of dollars less than what other shuttle companies had quoted me for one-way transportation. I had to confirm three times during our phone conversation whether there were any additional fees, since his price was sooo much better than anyone else's. Anthony advised me that he was the owner of his new shuttle company and that, as a new business, excellent customer service and competitive pricing were the keys to its success.
