There was no pressure or hard-selling involved. If you have a realistic price range in mind, the negotiation process is straightforward and respectful. After agreeing on a price, we completed the paperwork on the spot, and I received payment the same day while arrangements were made to pick up the vehicle. What stood out most was the customer service. Robert needed one additional document after the sale and was willing to work around my schedule, even returning the following Monday to make the process as convenient as possible. Selling a car can often be stressful, but this experience was refreshingly hassle-free. Between the mobile service, same-day payment, and attentive customer service, I can see why they came highly recommended. Several days later contacted by their field tech and agreed to Sat AM home inspection. Tech called to confirm his arrival next morning. Saturday morning received another call that he would be running late. Tech arrived 11:30AM and began a careful examination of the vehicle which besides hairline scratch on rear bumper was in pristine shape. Everything looked good and he said he needed to call HQ to sign off so we could proceed to bank to consummate deal. Became concerned when the call seemed to taking a long time. Eventually it was clear we would not make the bank as they closed at 2PM. Heard the tech explaining the vehicle had dealer installed leather seats etc. Eventually the tech came and said they had had "computer problems" and that the value of the vehicle was $3K below what they offered and acknowledged it was their mistake. They also threw the purchase employee under the bus and blamed her for the error. They withdrew their offer despite they had accepted and both parties agreed in good conscience. Responded that it was their mistake nonetheless and they should accept responsibility and proceed with payment. Needless to say the tech left after what seemed like bullying from his exec staff. Acknowledge this is high volume low margin business. Don't know what legal definition for Deceptive Business Practices" is but kinda fits the scenario. Understand they need to meet margins but also understand a deal is a deal. Cannot possibly recommend this outfit based on the sahenanigans. As an addendum just received another offer from these guys that is $4,500 less that first! Contemplating taking legal action against these bottom feeders.

    I am submitting this complaint to document my experience regarding the purchase of a 2015 Hyundai…read moreGenesis on May 2, 2026 at California Motors Direct Santa Ana. Working with Juan Salgado and Benjamin Fernandez. The vehicle was advertised for $14,999, and I made a $10,000 down payment toward the purchase. One of the primary reasons I felt comfortable proceeding with the transaction was the dealership's representation that I would have a 48-hour period to review the transaction and return the vehicle if I disagreed with any aspect of the purchase or was dissatisfied for any reason. Relying upon those representations, I completed the purchase believing I would have a meaningful opportunity to review all transaction documents and associated charges. However, I was not provided copies of my paperwork until after the 48-hour period had expired. Upon finally receiving and reviewing the documents, I discovered that the total cost of the transaction had been significantly increased by additional products and charges, including $1,936 for a Tire and Wheel Protection Plan and $3,399 for a theft deterrent product (Starguard), which i was originally quoted $20 per day. These charges materially increased the overall cost of the vehicle and were not expressed to me at the time I entered into the transaction. My current balance on the car is $12.360.55, after putting $10,000 down on a 14,999 car. OC Motors is a total rip off! Had I been provided the complete paperwork immediately following the sale, I would have been able to review the documents during the promised review period and make an informed decision regarding the transactions. But apparently thats how this company operates. After discovering these charges, I made numerous attempts to contact the dealership to discuss my concerns and obtain clarification. Unfortunately, my efforts were unsuccessful. I was repeatedly transferred between offices, informed that I was contacting the wrong department, and, on multiple occasions, my calls were disconnected. I also sent emails seeking assistance and clarification but did not receive any response. I further learned that the vehicle had a prior damage history reflected in the vehicle history report. While vehicle history information may have been available, consumers should be provided with complete transparency regarding both the condition of the vehicle and all financial terms associated with the purchase. I'm documenting this to caution other consumers to exercise diligence when purchasing a vehicle. Prospective buyers should carefully review every document, verify every charge, ask questions regarding all add-on products, and ensure they receive copies of all signed paperwork BEFORE leaving the dealership. I wouldn't recommend them at all but if you do purchase a car from this dealership, read everything, even the small print, they are very crafty- they try to "legally" scam people. In my opinion, the manner in which this transaction was handled lacked the transparency and customer service that consumers should reasonably expect when making a significant financial purchase. No matter how good these cars look or the prices, do not trust this company I hope that by sharing my experience, other consumers will be better informed and able to avoid similar frustrations. *They will reap what they sow* Blessings to all

Allison was so patient with me, and she really worked with me so I could leave with a car that I really wanted! She let me test drive pretty much any car I wanted, and let me drive it around for pretty much however long I needed too, and when it came time for me to find car insurance, she even took the time to look around and even got some quotes for me which was so cool of her to do! Another awesome thing she did, is when I didn't have the full amount for the down payment, she worked with me so I could pay it off before my first car payment, and still got to leave that day with the car! If you're looking for a new car I HIGHLY recommend this place, and if you do go, make sure to find or ask for Allison because she will do whatever she has to do to make sure that you have a good time, answer any questions you may have, and most importantly leave with a car that you love! Brian immediately came out and greeted me. One car caught my eye. I went for a quick test-drive and I was hooked. The price was right, the car was right, and I felt so much more comfortable with Brian than those other huge dealerships. I've had the car a couple weeks now and I can honestly say this was the best decision I've made when buying a car.
