I didn't know we had to purchase the airsoft BB (not a big deal) but we didn't know until we had to ask why our magazines were empty. The Ref kindly explained and was really helpful. We were initially told to wait at our table and a Ref will come to us so we did. We waited approx 40 mins and no one came so we went to ask the status and the Party was assisted right away. Just a little miscommunications but not a big deal what matters is the Party had a memorable time we will definitely be back!

Decent variety/grades and fair pricing. All the paint they sell has performed exceptionally well. Their tank hydro process was quick and easy with good pricing. I needed to buy new forearm/elbow guards and knee pads and it was nice to be able to feel the soft goods in person, compare brands, and try them on. The Karnivor electro Autococker was always a gun I liked though I did not get to play with it much. Between practices and tournaments I was always shooting my Planet Eclipse EGO. So when the time came to bring the Karnivor out of storage I knew it needed some tuning to get dialed in. These guns are now worth between $1,500 and $2,000. I absolutely trusted the team at Velocity Paintball's Store to take care of my baby. They got her shooting awesome! As San Diego's only paintball store you should consider checking out Velocity Paintball's Retail Store before going online. The prices are good and their service is great!

She was incredibly rude, condescending, defensive and completely unprofessional on the phone not once, but during multiple conversations. There was a clear misunderstanding regarding a reservation, and instead of simply trying to help resolve it, her attitude was unnecessarily nasty and dismissive. At one point, she even hung up rather than trying to help. This is supposed to be a fun experience, and customer service matters. There are plenty of other paintball options in the San Diego area where customers are treated with respect. Based on our experience, I would think very carefully before choosing Velocity Paintball Park, especially if you're organizing a group. We certainly won't be going there.

I don't know if this is an average. Face shield mandatory! Long loose pants, long sleeve shirts, and gloves are recommended. Thick layers or double layer are ideal for pain tolerance and weather conditions. Closed toed comfortable shoes. Wear close that you're okay getting dirty. Non alcoholic beverages, snacks and food are okay. You just can't BBQ or cook anything. 12:45PM - Arrived. The park is in the Barona area. The park shares space close to a Motocross/Dirt Bike Track. Signs will point you in the correct direction. Parking is on a dirt lot. Free parking. Checked it for a walk in. There were no Paintball Soft Guns available for rent at arrival, but the front desk guy said between 1:15pm - 1:30pm he will have an answer. We waited until then. 1:30PM - Paintball Soft Gun available. I paid $65 for 1000 paint balls, entry, mask, and gun rental. They taught my 9 year old how to manage the Paintball Soft Gun. There was a target area where he could practice shooting. 1:45PM - The referee had to take his 30min break. 2:15PM - Referee done with break. He gathered all the Paintball Soft crew. Broke the group up into a green team and pink team. He explained the rules of how to handle the gun, when to not shoot, masks always on, etc. 2:30PM - Game 1. Walked over to the first map. I was a spectator. The players looked like they had fun. Parents can watch from a far. Maps are located on beginner friendly hiking trails 3:00PM - Game end. 10 minute break for next game. 3:30PM - Gather group back. Referee briefs the group again. Walks group to new map. Game 2 begins. 4:00PM - Game ends. My nephew is tired and ready to be done. The park closes at 4PM but there were still games starting after. If we stayed, my nephew would probably have done a total of 3 games.

But no weapons, No guns sold here. The owner Jeff was super helpful, nice and informative. I was interested in a canvas jacket with a zipper opening and lots of pockets. Jeff showed me a number of things I might like but the items didn't have specific features I needed: zipper, stay dry and or lots of pockets. There was a Navy Seals military backpack $599.00 and Navy Seals cargo pants $400.00...the backpack was too ginormous for me. The cool cargo pants wasn't waterproof or stay dry material, but is pricey for a non designer clothing, so these prices may/may not be a bargain. The canvas military jackets with lots of pockets had button closure, not zipper as I preferred :( I don't particularly shop for military gear clothing so I'm not an expert about pricing and whether it's a good value or bargain. Due to time constraints, my visit was cut short but this shop is bound to have the military gear clothing you might want so it's worth a visit. Recommend

I asked about what I was looking for, got some ambiguous it's in the back right corner and a finger point or follow up questions or assistance. I go back there and realize that the store has at least 20 customers so pretty packed for a Big 5. I could not find what I needed and walked the store a bit. There was a 20% sale happening so that was a bonus but I refuse to buy anything from an establishment that does not value customer service. When I left....two of the same three associates were still just chatting away without regard to the customers. Will not be back unfortunately.
