We had turf installed in our backyard and within a day of installation, the sun had scorched part of it from the glare off the windows. We frantically researched remedies! Ran across a few companies and was recommended to call Rob at All Out Tint. Called and explained our situation. He was extremely understanding and wanted to help us! He explained that he could install a turf scorch protectant film on the windows to help. The best part, the film they use is clear, not white like others had quoted us. Sent a few pictures of the windows and within minutes we had a detailed proposal for the work. The price quoted was less than others received that morning and for a better quality film. After roughly a year of having my home tinted I can tell with absolute certainty that tinting my home has been a life changer. The typical temperature of my bedroom in summertime pre tinting was upwards of 100° due to my large bay windows and south facing layout. After tinting the temps have significantly dropped. Use someone else! They take advantage of people! Apparently they have in their terms that if they break your window, they aren't responsible for fixing it. I spoke with Rob and I felt like he should pay to get the window fixed and re-tinted that his company broke. He was not at all willing to do this. So I thought a fair compromise for both sides was if he refunded me the $225 that I paid to have him tint my window. That way I could atleast cover some of the cost to get the window fixed. He said he needed to talk to his wife. So I gave him 3 days and reached out to him and this was his response..... so unprofessional and no care at all for his customers. In April, my neighbor informed me that our new turf that we just had installed is burning due to the reflection of our windows onto the turf. Yes, there is such a thing as "Turf Burn". I spoke with my neighbor and he referred us to All Out Tint. He told me that the company is located in Las Vegas (we are in San Diego) but they do excellent work. I called and spoke to Melissa, who's customer service is absolutely OUTSTANDING, and she gave me a quote. I'm not going to lie, I was a little put off what they were offering, even with a military discount. So, me being the "Good Deal" person I am, I shopped around locally and called 5 other tint companies. Even with a military discount, no one locally could beat their price or come close. My wife told me to go with All Out Tint, especially since we just dropped $7800 on turf, pebble rock and a retaining wall. Well, my wife and I are EXTREMELY happy we went with them. I also had not put into consideration that he was driving from Las Vegas to San Diego (with today's gas prices). Since they have installed the clear tint, our turf has stopped burning and I protected our investment. The gentleman also made a video and was telling Melissa that the windows on the adjacent house was going to burn, so I'm going to speak with my neighbor to figure out a game plan for that. These guys are a bunch of SCAMMERS! Brother owns a landscaping company and they work together to scam innocent people. Broke my window and claim that it wasn't their fault yet they installed the wrong tint to a window that that is already heat resistant. The landscaping company required us to get tint on our window so we can qualify for the warranty on the turf. Bubbles underneath the tint. Dirt seeped underneath after awhile also. After a few months, the windows were so annoying that I asked Rob to remove the tint but he wouldn't.
