My wife and I were putting my 18 year old dog to sleep. we were in the examination room the Vet said she would like to do a physical examination before we put your dog a sleep since she hadn't had a yearly visit since april (3 months) I thought this was not normal practice and questioned her and she said we do this and it normal. I used to love going here but that has changed. Their prices kept going up and up. I paid almost $600 for a simple annual exam. And there seems to be different staff. When they brought my cat to the back for blood work I had to wait over 30 minutes to get her back.The girl who brought her back wasn't a vet tech and couldn't answer any questions. They do not know how to treat an injured cat. He bit them because he was in pain then called animal control who took my cat immediately into quarentine for 10 days. Poor planning to examin an injured cat with proper gear and support. I will not be returning I went in to get help and lost my sick cat for 10 days due to thier negligence. We have a house full of kids and this cat is handled often the tech saying desensitize him to touch was way off as he is active young cat ( under year) in house with 6 kids. Hes gets plenty of touch. Do not let them examin your bet without precautions. Injured cats in pain who have best temperament might snap back in self defense. Having you sick cat taken by animal control when all you wanted to do was get him care is not ok. Also the called me the next day to see how my cat was doing. I wouldn't know you took him from me. I made an appointment for my dog and then I know they had a difficult time with her last time so I talked to the receptionist and asked about getting medicine for the appointment for her visit so it would be easier for her and of course they could not do anything with her in the first appointment so then they gave me another appointment and they for both and they did nothing on the first appointment so you know it's ridiculous that they're charging me twice when they did nothing on the first appointment but give me the medicine that I asked for so she could be OK on the first appointment the night before so I'm not happy paying twice and having my money taken when it could've been resolved by them, giving me the medicine when I needed it instead of having to go in without it and then they don't do nothing for her except give me the medicine so I have to pay for a visit to get the medicine when they could've just sent me come get the medicine and told me not OK double dipping apparently out of my pocket read more

I've been with this veterinarian hospital for over 10 years. I call to make an appointment for my animal and was told I don't have an account with them. I told them I've been with you guys over 10 years. I have an account they continue to insist that I was at a different animal hospital veterinarian do not maintain their records correctly. I missed an appointment in 2022 and then another one recently due to the fact I was in the hospital. I was told I had to pay upfront for missing two appointments in 10 years. When I asked for my paperwork, they offered to send me paperwork for two animals who are euthanized at their facility.. I am completely disgusted. What compassion they have for an animal owner who has lost their pet. I strongly suggest you find another veterinarian that will treat you with dignity and respect. read more

Much too costly! Because my cat has double paws and will grow some claws into his paw if left unattended, I would take him in for a nail trim every six months. They claim "he is due for this or that" pretty much every time I visit. The price of the exam is comparable to what I would have to pay for an uninsured examination of myself. I switched vets since the examination and nail clipping costs were significantly less. My cats nails were not sufficiently trimmed back by All Pets Veterinary, thus I had to return sooner than really needed. Nowadays, the entire cost of veterinary treatment is out of control. The vet will examine your pet in front of you. He/she will tell you the problem with the animal. Then you go to the desk and get an itemized list for what they have done. Then you pay your bill. All pet does not do it this way. You are not with your pet when it's being examined, you received no bill for what they have done to your pet, nothing is itemized. You actually receive nothing at all. You don't even sign or use your pin for the final bill. When you get your bank statement you'll find out you were scammed. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. repeat. PLEASE, DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES TO THESE HEARTLESS PEOPLE. If only I could give negative stars... I lost my beautiful, happy, healthy 5 month old bunny while he was in their care for his neuter procedure. They tell me his heart stopped after the procedure was complete. They attempted CPR but he could not be revived. Though I do not doubt that they tried to save him, I was literally SHOCKED by the lack of sympathy and compassion they showed me while I was obviously grieving his death at their hands. They are charging me almost $700. $385 for the procedure and the rest for 10 minutes of CPR which I did not know was an additional cost. I told them I couldn't believe they were charging me that much for CPR (honestly, even the procedure after they killed my bunny) and the woman on the phone just kept repeating "Welp.... services were rendered" like a F*cking robot. Since when is CPR a "service to be rendered". Isn't it just the HUMANE and RIGHT THING TO DO?? She then told me this was the owners decision and her hands were tied. I asked if I could speak with the owner. She said "of course, I'll send you her email". Naturally, she didn't. I called around to other vets I was considering during the research process in choosing a vet and asked about their policy when something like this happens. Overwhelming majority said they would never dream of charging someone if their healthy pet was lost during a routine procedure like this. I posted my situation in several online rabbit owner communities and the overwhelming feedback from people across the world and in New England who also unfortunately lost their pet during this procedure said they were not charged or only charged the cremation expense. $700 to pick up the body of my perfect little bunny. This tragic event was not the first hiccup I had with All Pets. While calling to get a quote for his neuter and my little girl buns spay, I was given a quote of $385 for each and a $55 wellness check up prior to the surgery. After being checked out and given a full, clean bill of health they tried to charge me almost double for the check up ($95 i think) and quoted me an absorbent amount (I forget the actual number, but hundreds of dollars over the initial quote I was given) for my girl buns spay. Luckily, they did honor the original quote after I provided written documentation showing what they told me originally. Not a huge deal, but WHY CANT THESE PEOPLE GET THEIR SH*T TOGETHER?!? Even in something as simple as their price for a check up? Do they not answer these questions for people every day? At this point, they are leading me to believe they are pulling these numbers out of thin air and there is no method to madness going on in that building. read more

I will no longer be going back for a few reasons: The boarding facility I was going to use for my dog personally called All Vets Veterinary Hospital office to inquire about his fecal test and if it was done. Their office provided this information, as well as telling them he was being treated for hookworm. This was done WITHOUT my consent and is a breach of privacy. This is the main reason I will not bring my dog back. 2. The total amount of Drontal for 3 tablets that I purchased from from them for a treatment for hookworm was $108. I found this from a reputable company for less than $70. Their prices are through the roof so you may want get your quotes prior to bringing your pet here. As far as care, I never had to bring my pets there for anything but vaccines and general exams so I can not comment on their care. read more

My heart is broken, my 11 year old is devastated and my 25 yr old stepson lost his beloved cat & is out hundreds of dollars with TWO trips to All Pets in less than 24 hours. The second trip was to euthanize sweet Ollie-may he rest in peace. When a normal size cat, actually a good size cat is 15 plus years old, weighs 4 1/2 lbs, has oozing eyes, bad teethe and is complete skin & bones ++ I think a vet should be honest, morally & ethically!!! Yes the father and two sons that brought Ollie want to make him comfortable!! But I feel as a doctor you are obligated to do what is best for the patient, not to make $. Ollie hasn't been comfortable for days- anyone could see that! You are "professionals"- after his appointment he failed miserably and we have buried him within 24 hours of his visit. I transferred my 8 year old lab here to be closer to home. BAD CHOICE! When I made the appointment, I was told that due to COVID restrictions, I could not come in with my dog, which is fine since almost every other vet is doing the same and I don't have much choice. At the previous vet, the time my dog was in the office was as short as possible and if she was not actively being examined, she was waiting with me in the car. Even if she needed meds and I needed to pay - she came out and waited with me while all that processing was done. I was told when I made the appt that I would be called and spoken to the whole time my pet was in the office while I waited in the car. That was NOT the case. I got to my appointment at my scheduled time, 5PM. I texted the office and they called 5 minutes later (so at this point, already late), asked one or two questions (not a lot for a new dog), and then told me to bring her in. I brought her to the door. 20 minutes passed and I didn't receive a call, so I called the office to see why the wait was so long. After being put on hold for 2 minutes, they told me the vet was dealing with a issue that was more urgent than my dogs appointment (really could have been worded better). They told me it would be another 5-10 minutes before the vet could see my dog. I waited 5 more minutes, called back and it was busy. Called again and finally got an answer. I asked to have my dog brought back out and that I no longer wanted her to be seen. The woman put me on hold for a few minutes to find someone that could bring her out which is RIDICULOUS! Then the vet finally answered and essentially forced me into the visit and gave me no choice but the go through with it. I did get an apology but at that point it was too late. The medical exam is not cheaper than her current vet and the visit itself wasn't great either. I told the vet she had some bleeding in a specific spot from itching and because it wasn't actively bleeding, she made me feel like she thought I was making it up and lying to her. It honestly didn't really seem like she had even looked at my dog before calling me. She also wanted to swab my dogs ear for a potential infection, which in the past every vet she has seen has been able to look in it with the otoscope and tell me if it was infected. She is a lab - they often get ear infections. Nickel and diming for literally everything - tried to get me to buy medicated shampoo instead of suggesting Castile soap which is what the paper work they gave me said to do. I do not crate my dog and she's extremely anxious. If she couldn't be seen they shouldn't have had her wait in there for 25+ minutes alone. All in all I didn't leave until 6:05 - 1 hr for a vet appoint is absolutely ridiculous especially during COVID. She was only being seen for some allergy related itching. I cannot say enough how bad this veterinary hospital is run. Your receptionist/front office staff is the "face of the business", and in this case set the tone for my experience. They seemed to have went well out of their way to hire the MOST ill-mannered, disrespectful, and simply vile person to welcome customers. I could do an essay on her alone. I should have just turned around and walked out, but I thought that maybe the rest of my experience would be better. Unfortunately NO. This place is a corrupt used car lot masquerading as a veterinary hospital. Besides trying to nickel and dime you to death after initially offering discounts for multiple pets, referrals, etc making the so called "discount" worthless. "Oh your dog has 4 legs, well that will be extra"...OK that was an exaggeration, but just slightly. They did do a hardcore sell on me to have needless procedures done to my perfectly healthy dog...as a "preventative measure". To make matters worse, the nasty receptionist at the front desk assumed that I was on-board with all the procedures and had a possibly even nastier attitude when I declined. She then proceeded to hint that I was somehow abusing my dog for not having the procedures. Fast forward a few months, when I needed to get refills on flea and tick meds. I have always used 1-800-petmeds since they are so much cheaper than buying from a vet. When I tried to order, I was informed there was a problem and that I needed to call the vet. Nasty receptionist told me they don't deal with 1800petmeds because there was a problem with them not getting a medicine right in the past and that I can either buy from them directly or would need to get a written prescription from them. What would be the difference between me picking up the prescription versus them faxing one? I call BS since the flea and tick meds are package at the maker. What exactly do they think is happening at 1800petmeds, that they are tampering with the packaging and replacing with some pseudo brand from Mexico? Finally last night I returned to nasty receptionist's lair to pick up my prescription, which despite being requested days ago, wasn't ready. She couldn't have been more argumentative if she tried. She couldn't apologize for not having it ready and somehow tried to tell me that it was first 1800petmeds fault for not giving them all the information...because they would just not give all the information to a vet about the request...then tried to blame it on my old vet for not transferring my dogs medical records to be able to approve the meds. I guess it is just too much to ask this receptionist to admit a mistake. Judging by other reviews, I see that I am not alone in my views of their practices and especially of their front office staff. A new vet opened up nearby and everyone at work has switched and said how awesome it is and how much cheaper it is. My dog needed some updated vaccines so I decided to try out this new place. I called All Pets to see if they could transfer my dogs records. I had only been there for a year and he had no major medical issues, so not a very big file to send. This was around noon on Friday and I told them my appointment was at 5pm. The woman was mostly polite and said they usually ask that you give 24 hours notice to send records, but she would do her best to get them over today. Now I am at my appointment at 5 and the new vet says they don't have anything from them. So I give another call just to see if they were able to send it and/or maybe they just didn't come thru on the fax machine. This was a different woman who was very RUDE and said you NEED to give us 48 hours notice to send records. I laughed and said earlier it was 24 and now its 48? She said "the girl earlier told you 24-48 hours".. no she didnt, she said 24. The woman put me on hold then came back on and said "You called at 12:47pm today.. that's not 24 hours." At this point I'm annoyed. She put me on hold for 2 minutes to look up what time I called to prove her argument instead of using those few minutes to start sending my paperwork. Clearly they are bitter about losing clients but they should still be professional and polite. This was my FIRST visit to my new vet. What if I liked my old vet better??.. then I would have went back. But now I will never go back to them. The woman answering the phone was PETTY AND RUDE. And after seeing my new Vet he was telling me some very insightful stuff about my dogs skin issue from last fall and I realized that All Pets was nickle & diming me for skin scrapes and expensive tests when all he had was seasonal allergies. I've been going to All Pets Veterinary Hospital for a year now and couldn't be happier with the service I've received. Dr. Provencher is warm, friendly, and professional and I trust her completely with my cat's care. I like that the services are affordable, and I'm told ahead of time what each service will cost. I've NEVER felt pressured into doing any services I don't agree with, or charged more than what was told. They even have a new rewards program. The staff have all been nice to me and my cat, especially Candice. She patiently explains what to expect and answers my numerous questions. I even get a call the day after my visit asking how my cat is doing and if I have any other questions. The facility is clean, comfortable and odor free. They have an assortment of pet toys and supplies and good quality grain free pet food, which is priced about the same as the local pet store. There is ample parking. The only change I would make is installing an automatic door in the front and a ramp, as it is a bit tricky to navigate in and out with a pet carrier. Overall I am very pleased with this place. Dr. Grasso was so sympathetic and compassionate as we were saying goodbye to our greatest love. I went here as an emergency after my bird was attacked by a dog. They were so kind and did not charge us anything extra for it being an emergency visit nor did they give us any problems about not being a previous client! The bird made a full recovery and they called to check on him multiple times! Which is why I automatically thought of coming to them once I adopted a rescue! But, I must admit I was concerned after seeing the reviews. It must be a case of only hearing of the bad stories, I am lucky, or more likely, some people just had some bad experiences which can happen anywhere. My puppy went for a wellness checkup as well as a stool sample because she's had some soft ones. Here is how that all worked: I was greeted and immediately brought into a room where I filled out her info and passed over all medical records I had from her. The tech was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone commented on how good she was. Then they asked some questions regarding her food, vaccines, history, etc. They checked on her ears, fur, tummy, etc. They explained what they recommend for tests which included the fecal test that I requested and a blood panel because they couldn't find in her records that heart worm had been ruled out. She is on prevention but that doesn't do anything if she had it already. I asked what this would cost and they said they would definitely give me a list of costs. They also suggested a probiotic. I agreed to that to-better to be safe than sorry. The important thing about this process is that this is what they are medically recommending-I could say no to any of it. They mentioned a vaccine she was not yet due for and they specified that I could choose to get it early but it would just be for my convenience, it wasn't needed at this time. I didn't feel as if they were just trying to upsell me at all. True to their word, they brought me a paper that listed all services we'd talked about, their individual prices, and then the total. I signed it and then they completed the work! They said they will get back to me in a day or two with test results. They checked me out right in the room and I was good to go. They were great and my dog was never nervous and liked every person she met. Overall for price, I got the following services: Wellness Exam Fecal Test Blood Panel for Adult Canine 1 Bag of Probiotic Treats. In total it came to $215. I don't know what the rates are in places in the area but I thought that sounded fair. Overall they were very kind both times I've gone and have been great to my animals and to me! I am sorry others seem to have a bad experience, as it is always extra hard when your loved ones are involved. They seemed to have a pretty packed lobby, and the place was nice and clean and welcoming. I hope all have as good of experiences here as I have! I would recommend them overall. :) read more

All Pets is by far the best Vet in NH! They truly care about you and your pets health. They offer low cost vaccines and low cost spay and neuter programs for those who cannot afford it. Loyal clients for 3 years now. I brought our dog in for a vaccination. Was told that the physical exam which is included in $23 charge for vaccination was unnecessary because he'd already had his yearly exam; thus a tech could simply give him the vaccine so I wouldn't have to wait. I said Great! Let's do that!. Then the girl tells me there's an upcharge fee for that...wait...what? I get charged MORE to not have the included exam? I declined this and was informed I could be waiting a long time. While waiting I politely inquired if our dog could get the 3 yr vaccine instead of the 1 yr, even if it cost more. Was told this wasnt an option by the secretary, but luckily a tech was around to allow it because our dog was a client with regular checkups. Tech told me the price was the same. Secretary seemed annoyed the tech helped me. About 8 min later our dog was taken in the back without me (wasn't allowed to go with him) for his exam and vaccination. Was asked to pay and got out my credit card but was told the charge had to be $25 or more. I asked if a check would be fine and the secretary also said that wasn't acceptable. I was like, I only have $10 on me, what would you have me do? Secretary smuggly told me to buy something they sold. So $2 dollars and a useless bone later, I could pay with my credit card. About 10 min later vet comes out and informs me our dog has a chipped tooth. Yes, that happened a while back, I responded. She immediately told me he needed a complete dental check which included cleaning, polishing, xrays, and that the chip could lead to a crack and tooth extraction (over $600). I pointed out he had no inflammation of gums, I scale his teeth when needed, and brush his teeth 3xs a week. Besides this he eats food and bones normally. She was gruff and annoyed with my response. I got home and told my husband, who was furious that our veterinary place is nickel and diming its clients. He went in the next day to request our dog's records. The secretary said these would be emailed. Got an email the next day saying I'd have to pick them up. Going somewhere else...do NOT go here! New location and bells and whistles mean they need to nickel and dime clients! read more

I submitted a serious complaint against this office and specifically Veterinarian Shailey Devito ("VET"). I requested a refund and a corrective action response by July 1st, and in line with this VET's current negligence and disregard of concerns, no refund or action has been provided. Therefore I proceed with this complaint to ensure all animals are safe. Below is an excerpt of what I wrote- but in summary ---I DO NOT recommend this VET. Please save your animal and money and go to AVC in Manchester or Concord. Best decision I ever made. "After moving from Denver to New Hampshire my dog was very anxious and threw up blood. I brought him to your office (All Pets Veterinary 25 Riverside St, Nashua, NH 03062) and you all were kind enough to provide a medical examination. The VET was very nice, performed blood work, and stated that she believed his sickness was from the trauma of travelling or acute kidney/renal failure. Traumatized by the fact that my dog could be facing his last days if kidney failure, I accepted the diagnosis and treatment plan. The medication prescribed by the VET was the following: Probiotic sprinkles, ulcer medication, and nausea medication. All of this for a total charge of over $500.00 (minus the cost of his new flea and tick medication). I was shocked, however, when the VET's plan included medicine to treat his symptoms, and not any underlying cause, not to mention the pills were huge for a little dog that was feeling sick. Especially as I had already contacted my prior vet in Denver whom stated that a new VET would likely put him on an antibiotic. I asked your VET about an antibiotic and she said it wasn't necessary at this time, but that I could have my dog admitted for her to do even more "tests." As I am a lawyer and not a doctor, I trusted your VET and it almost killed my dog. Thankfully for my dog's life and my pocket book, I declined to have him admitted, but the story does not end here. When I got home, my dogs situation got worse. Despite having moved here for a new job, my first week of work was spent up all night with my dog and his nonstop diarrhea. Your receptionist called to check in once, and I told her my dogs symptoms now included diarrhea, she told me she would talk to the VET, but I NEVER heard back. Waiting for a follow up, three days passed and I still did not hear from the VET, so I called your office again. The receptionist stated she would have the VET call me. The VET NEVER CALLED THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. The next day I called again and was told that the VET was out of the office but prescribed a 4th medication for my dog, a diarrhea medication (still no antibiotic). As again the medication only treated symptoms and my trust was broken with the unresponsive, uncaring and likely negligent VET, I decided to take him to the Emergency VET- AVC Manchester (55 Carl Dr, Manchester, NH 03103). I am forever grateful that I trusted my instinct as it saved my dogs life. When I called AVC, I knew instantly that this was a caring vet with the necessary skill. Even the receptionist at AVC was great and extra caring on a day when I really needed support and care for my dog- a very different experience than the receptionist at All Vets who was unkind and unhelpful and reminded me twice that All Pets was doing me a favor by seeing my urgently sick dog. AVC's receptionist immediately stated that hearing my dog's situation, indicated to her (the receptionist) that an antibiotic would be necessary, but that a vet would still need to see him as well. When I arrived at AVC I was scared and willing to pay anything to save my dog, but AVC did not take advantage of my needs and instead took care of Caesar like medical professionals. AVC looked at your offices blood work, performed a physical inspection, a urine analysis and an analysis of fecal matter (all things that I told your VET I was ok with if necessary as I initially thought he ate something poisonous and that those tests would be required). AVC even gave me a pre- treatment cost quote, inclusive of the antibiotic and it was $149.00 for EVERYTHING! AVC advised ME to take my dog off all of the junk issued by your office and put him on an antibiotic. AVC was so incredible the vet even fed my little dog to make sure he had eaten before his pill. Absolutely the best service I've ever had! Within EIGHT (8) HOURS, my dog's situation made a complete 180. He was eating, playing and his diarrhea subsided. Not only was he better, but both the vet and receptionist called me three times to follow up and make sure Caesar recovered. . . ." As of the date of this review (almost two months later) my dog is still in perfect health thanks to me going with my intuition and removing him from All Vets care. read more

My animal is healthy and happy... especially for his years. All I wanted was a rabies vaccination for my pet. What I got was a 'Dr.' double-team of: *Condescending *Judgmental *Tense *Fear-mongering *Death-referencing ... sales tactics. Between the tests, recommended preventative treatments and dental surgery, my estimate was 2000 dollars. The less-cordial of the two women (I would even say angry woman {in short hair}) didn't make much eye contact with me... They didn't seem to bond with my pet at all, but they certainly didn't think I was buying enough for him!... haha All Done with All Pets. read more

I have been a pet owner for over a decade now. And have seen at least 4 or 5 different vets over that time frame. These guys are so far above and beyond anyone else I've ever been to. We have a very "needy" (read: less than healthy) 13yo cat, who is on regular meds and gets routine subcutanous fluids. Her name is Haku. And for 9 of the 11 years I've owned her, I thought she was male. (more below.. mix up at the shelter I adopted her from when she was a kitten.) These guys were the first to identify her real gender! (And the following is why I have to strongly disagree with the reviews that All Pets is costly, uncaring, and prone to misdiagnose....) Years ago, Haku was diagnosed with bladder stones. Many vets told us that because Haku is male, bladder stones dropping would be a potentially fatal condition. One day, we saw blood in the litter box. On a Saturday, of course. We RUSHED to the nearest animal hospital- Westford Animal Hospital. Let's say this was a less than good experience. They told us because he's male (clearly they hadn't bothered to check) 'he' would need a $4,000 surgery immediately. So we thought we would get a second opinion. Enter All Pets. (To anyone reading this- guys, they are open on the weekend! ) So I looked around, found these guys nearby and open on Saturday, and called. They told me even if we did need surgery, it would be significantly less than 4K. So off we went. 20 minutes later, we were sitting in a comfortable exam room with soothing music, and a vet tech came in. This is what makes these guys great. She knew the most important and ultimately deciding factor in the gravity of the condition was that this cat was MALE. Female cats pass bladder stones. Male cats often don't, and get blocked, leading to kidney failure. Female cat- not fatal, no surgery. Male cat- potentially fatal condition. So the first thing this vet tech did was lift her tail and examine her... um... parts. She looked at us and said "I'll get another opinion, but i'm pretty sure this isn't an emergency. This is a female cat." Our jaws hit the floor. But lo and behold, she was! And she wasn't blocked. She likely had a UTI. She also did have a few stones. The vet could have pressed the matter at this point and recommend she get surgery anyway to remove the stones, but she told us we could quite reasonably wait and see how the urinalysis came back, because she suspected it was a UTI, and in female cats, even bladder stones are almost never fatal. My husband looked at her and said "I need you to be sure this is a female cat. We love this cat, and if you're wrong, this could cost us Haku's life." They brought several people in to check and make sure. They absolutely cared as much as we did that she was not in immediate danger. Turns out it was a UTI! Now my love for All Pets does not end here. They saved us $4K, and demonstrated concretely they were motivated by love for an animal they'd never met over profit. Yes. But the real reason I love them is for the fact that no other vet has treated any animal I've ever owned as a member of their own family. We're there frequently for subcutaneous fluids (very inexpensive), as I mentioned (the cat just won't let us do this at home... claws and cat rage ensue when we try). We walk in and the receptionists ALWAYS greet us with warmth and enthusiasm. Frequently the front desk staff get phone calls while helping people in person. They always pick up and politely ask if it's an emergency or if the person can hold. No other vet I've used asks if it's an emergency before putting me on hold. And the vet techs, who administer the fluids, have been known to see us in the waiting area and call out "HAKU!!! We LOVE you!" And I've heard them do this for other pets too! They've even taken to leaving new kitty toys in her carrier as gifts for her to play with. Dr. Devito is our vet. She is as knowledgeable, realistic, and caring as any vet I've ever met. This woman's a gem. She never recommends procedures that aren't appropriate. She explains things in a way I can understand, and always offers multiple options for treatment. Additionally, they also have a holistic/Chinese medicine vet on staff that you can see for alternative treatment options- Dr. Toolan. At a particularly bad point last year, I was desperate to improve her kidneys. Dr. Toolan recommended 2 different herbs (each costing no more than a dollar a day) we could put her on on top of her regular treatment. And her health has steadily improved. As I said, I've been to many vets. NEVER have we been treated so much like family as we are at All Pets. I really can't say enough about these guys. Procedures we've had to do have been on the low-mid range of what other vets have charged me over the years. In fact, they're pretty close to what I've been charged at Boston Veterinary Care/Animal Rescue League, which is a low-cost non-profit vet/shelter. Reasonable! read more

This vet is one of the best decorated vet offices I have ever seen. It is truly beautiful inside. I slowly realized that this was because they were incredibly expensive. I wouldn't mind paying extra for exceptional service, but the service was just average. I was most bothered though when I was told I needed to bring my pet back for an additional test which they told me there would be no charge for. When I arrived, they told me there was an additional charge. They simply said they were sorry and that they made a mistake. The test seemed unnecessary, and all I could think was misleading customers into paying for unnecessary tests was why the office was so beautiful. read more

I took one of my three dogs here because she was due for some vaccines and we recently moved to this area. What I didn't expect was a 45 minute lecture on holistic health care and my dog's "Chi". The veterinarian was difficult to understand through her accent and while I am sure she truely cared about my dog, she didn't spend the time translating what things mean. It was much more expensive than I expected. I had high hopes for this place but they were not realized. :/ read more

Although I didn't get my pet checked out here, because they were all booked up for the day, they went above and beyond with their service. They called other vets in the area that they know are good with exotic pets. They made an appointment for me and even called me back to confirm the appointment. They didn't have to do anything like that. Everyone else that I've called just gave me names of vets in the area, not even the phone numbers. They truly went way out of their way to make sure that we got the care we needed, even though it meant sending us to another vet. So to everyone that says they are only out to nickel and dime people and over charge, I say FALSE. They really helped me and my pet out, all for nothing. THANK YOU GUYS! read more

It is a nice place and they will get you a same day apt if you need one. However, don't plan on leaving there for anything less than $200- they will push product, extra labs, new food, meds from only their pharmacy until you're blue in the face. Great example- I've been there about three times for my dogs rash that kept coming back and they couldn't figure out why, $200-$250 per visit. We visited for the low-cost spay. I was told (& it's referenced on their website) that it was $250. I called to inquire and was told I needed to bring my pet in for a pre-surgical exam and blood work to make sure my pet was healthy before surgery, and the fee would be about $115.00 in addition to the $250.00, but I was told I could use Care Credit so that helped. I arrived for the appt, met with the vet, had the exam and they drew blood. Then the vet tech enters and tells me it's going to be up to $382.00 more for the surgery!!!! What?!?! Bait and Switch! When she sees my shocked face, she asks, "oh, did you want the Low Cost Spay?"... Yes, that is what I scheduled! OH! Well if you want THAT, we will discard your pets blood and she won't get any IV fluids during surgery, plus you have to pay $25 for a collar and $20 for etc.... Hmm, so you just drew blood from my pet for no reason? Low cost spay pets' health status isn't important? Hmm. So after debating, they finally say I can schedule the low-cost surgery. I ask if we might be able to do it next week and the nasty receptionist has the nerve to tell me,"I can't schedule your surgery until you bring cash to pay for it." I get that I need to pay cash in advance, but that was really rude, especially when you just caused us time, pain and stress to my dog, total poor communication and bait and switch tactics. It's obvious this place only cares about $$$ and not about quality care services. I am mortified about this place. Terrible!!!!!!!!!! And my poor dog... :( read more

Dr. Masuma Barrett has been a godsend for my Australian shepherd mix, Wallace, who has suffered terrible back injury and pain. Dr. Barrett put us on an East/West prescription of medication, herbs and a grain-free diet a few months ago, and now Wallace is bouncing around like a puppy! Dr. Barrett has left the clinic, and I found her at DrMasuma.com or DrMasuma@gmail.com or barrettholisticveterinaryservice.com when the folks at All Pets refused to tell me she was no longer working with them. I give the clinic 3 stars, because I've seen several vets, and Wallace got the BEST care from Dr. Barrett, but now that she's gone, and they refused to provide contact for her, I have to question their commitment to my pet's well-being. read more

I had a great experience here. My dog had an ear infection and to show me how to best administer the medication, they printed out instructions and carefully showed me the method. He has had ear infections in the past that have been difficult to clear and now I understand why - no one had shown me proper administration. Thanks, All Pets! read more

I used this Vet for years and loved them. I thought everything was great until I requested my dog's medical records because I moved and need to find a new vet. When I read through the records I was pleasantly suprised and the 'Subjective' section and how the staff had made comments about my personal life. My personal life has nothing to do with my Dog's medical history. I found their comments to be extremely insulting. I also had concerns about the fact that they had a note stating to "GO SLOW - SCARES EASILY". This was only added after they removed her from the exam room with me, brought her out back, held her down with 4 staff members, and proceeding to 'examine' her and giver her shots. They scared her so bad that she had problems breathing and actually had diahrrea. I could hear her crying for me from the back. I will NEVER go here again! read more

We started going to All Pets Vet a year and a half ago, and when we first started taking our dog there it was great. Within the last few months, we have had several less than stellar experiences. Several months ago my husband took my dog in to get a vaccine, with an appointment, and he waited over an hour in the waiting room. We had another appointment a few weeks later, with an appointment, and waited about 45 minutes in the waiting room, and another 45 minutes in the examination room before we were seen. We didn't leave the vet until around 8pm. Most recently, a couple of weeks ago, we took our dog in and asked the vet about a very small bump on her leg. The vet said it was so small she wouldn't even be able to extract any fluid from it to test. In the next sentence she told us we needed to have it removed within the week and provided an estimate that was $675.55 - $787.55, including pre-operation blood work. Our dog also had a small scratch and some redness on her leg that I saw occur when she was playing with another dog. The vet said we should remove the redness just to be safe, I said I know that's from her playing with another dog, she said "maybe, but you should remove it just in case." My husband and I decided that before we spent that kind of money and sedated our dog to remove a chunk out of her leg that we would get a second opinion. We took her to another vet that received many good reviews on Yelp and from neighbors. This vet suggested a round of antibiotics first, and said that if that didn't work then it should be removed, but the estimate was $400. It's been less than a week on antibiotics and the bump is almost gone and the redness and scratch were gone the next day. I would NOT recommend All Pets Vet. read more
