Dr. Stebbins has a great bed side manner. Great with the animals and the owners both. Excellent communicator, and easy to talk to. She makes herself available for questions, and always follows up. Vet techs are very friendly and competent. Would highly recommend her practice. read more

I had an emergency and they took us right away I will not take my animals anywhere else.

I brought my anxious gsd here, and the tech who took her from me to go to another area for her exam was so scared to handle her (all she was doing was trying to get back to me and whimpering) that she choked the leash up, lifted her front paws off the ground by her collar, and dragged her by her neck. At face value, that's abuse, and on top of that, she's 80lbs. That's 80lbs of weight on her trachea. I was absolutely horrified and took the leash back from her, and said I'll bring her to the exam room myself. Once she was in the room, I left for the exam (I regret this and have tremendous guilt about it), and when I came back there were tufts of my dog's fur absolutely covering the exam room floor. My dog looked absolutely traumatized. We obviously never went back. Horrible experience, I no longer trust vets. Please go elsewhere. read more

If you care about your Pet, please do not use this Vet Clinic. "Dr John" is combative, argumentative and abusive. I brought my 13 y.o. Cat to them for treatment of a large abscess. The whole experience was horrible for both my Cat and me. After they performed minor surgery and I paid the bill , they became even more concerning and unprofessional. At the follow-up to surgery appointment Dr. John slammed my cat down on the exam table several times and spun her around like she was an object for him to take out his irritability on. The cat had just had surgery. While he was accosting me he was abusing my Cat. It was very disturbing to see a "Doctor" behave like this. I could write much more about the staff's behavior but I won't. Just take your Pet elsewhere. read more

Great place to bring chill pets and I think livestock (they have them on the premises so I'm assuming). Clean premiss, well organized, and friendly staff. They took very good care of my GSD, and I recommend them over other vets in the area. Only took one star off because they really prefer on filling prescriptions through their own pharmacy, even for flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, because they can make guarantees on the products in case your pet has any reactions. read more

The best thing about going to PVMC as opposed to many other Vets is that you can talk directly to Dr. John and his aides. In my view that makes all the difference in the world. You would be hard pressed to find a better Veterinarian. read more

Three weeks ago, after chatting with their receptionist, I explained that I took in a stray cat which, I had his physical exam, rabies, 1st round of FVCRP & deworming done at a different vet office. However he still needs his booster and neuter. The vet office he goes to is booked for 2 more months. The poor baby has already been quarantined for months and I want to let him out of my office so he can join our family asap! Because he is a stray ie. "difficult patient", not familiar with people or especially carriers, I have difficulty getting him inside his crate for transport. Preventative Receptionist said they will take these circumstances into consideration and that their Surgeon would call me back as she was unable to schedule surgeries. Preventative Surgeon called me back a few days later and agreed to give his booster when they neuter him and we scheduled for 8/4/22! Great! Then 2weeks later, I get a call from owner Casey Adams, refusing to do neuter unless he comes in for an initial exam (separate appointment), complicating an already difficult situation for everyone. I explained, he's been to a vet 2x in the past 2months, had physical, bloodwork, will forward records etc..I already scheduled surgery with her Surgeon and her response was "It's my business and I can do what I want. That's our protocol. We don't deal with Ferrells or strays here ever, not from shelters or anyone." So now I need to find yet another vet who can neuter him ASAP before he becomes more psychologically damaged from being confined for so long!!! They should've informed me & their entire staff of "their protocol" so there was a resolution, when I called the 1st time or even the 2nd time, when I talked to their Surgeon. I was completely transparent with them from the start and expected the same. However, Casey Adams unjustly cost Mr. Tyson-my "stray" at least, another 3weeks of confinement. I understand safety is vital and so is the CARE, support and love for our fur babies and each other! Be nice, life is short and even shorter for them!!!! We are the animals only voices. Keep advocating for them no matter what! You'll find someone who knows that EVERY PET matters nomatter where they came from. EVERY situation is different and should be compassionately approached with an open mind. read more

I don't even know where to start. Dr. John and his staff are absolutely amazing! I brought in a very sick 12 year old dog and they have gone above and beyond to help me in anyway possible also taking in account the price. They have a 24 hour staff and Dr. John lives on the property. My pup had a three night stay there with them and they kept me updated every step of the way. Upon returning home they told me to make sure and call them about his progress. The whole staff has been so friendly and caring. I brought him there because it was an emergency situation. I am so happy I did and will definitely be switching over to them on a permanent basis. This staff truly cares about your pets well being not just about your checkbook. read more

I found them from someone I work with. He couldn't stop talking about how great his vet is. His parents used PVMC and now he brings all of his dogs here. We breed Australian Shepherds and we brought our last litter to PVMC. Every staff member was friendly and knowledgeable. We are completely satisfied with the treatment, care and service they provided. We recommend PVMC to all the families our puppies are going home to. Very unprofessional staff. While in an appointment with my dog the other day I could hear the manager verbally being very rude and argumentative with the poor sweet office worker up front. It's all open concept - I was horrified and would never speak to someone that way, and could not believe what I was hearing. The office girl handled it very well and didn't respond in a way that I absolutely would have and kept it together- she checked me in so sweetly and greeted my dog- she knew a client was in the building and remained professional the whole time - manager didn't care and kept digging at her to try and get her to argue- but I heard her say I quit and can't deal with this anymore. I was so proud of her. I will also never go back here. I finished my appointment. Wanted so badly to speak up and tell them how horrible and unprofessional this all was and that I don't blame her for quitting. I can't imagine what that girl has put up with prior since she had said she'd had enough and quit!! My heart sank for her. I have a daughter - I'll be dammed if a so called employer spoke to my daughter in such a way!!! Seriously can't believe this. My husband will call for our records - we will go somewhere else. I will not give another dime to this place. read more

This will be a difficult review to write. Recently Dr. Lindermuth came to our home to euthanise our beloved 14.5 year old dog. I first found out about this vet from the vet we had been using for our dog for years, but once our dog got too old to get into the car, we needed a vet to do home visits, and that is how we met Dr. Lindermuth. He did an assessment of our dog's overall health (heart, lungs) and watched him walk, etc. He put him on different meds including a stronger painkiller and anti-inflammatory. He told us what to expect in the next few months as it was obvious that Chaos was getting more and more senile. He was right on. After 5 months of declining health and well-being,we decided it was time to have Dr. Lindermuth out to the house again, this time the final visit. He arrived after his office visits were complete, and again, told us what he would do to Chaos and what to expect. He allowed my husband and me to be with Chaos as long as we needed before he administered a heavy dose of sedative. Then he gave the final injection. He quietly put all his gear together, and let himself out the side door. He is a very gentle, understanding, down-to-earth man. read more

I can not say enough about Dr. Lindermuth and his staff. I live 45 minutes away and have an animal Hospital 3 minutes down the road from me and yet I much rather travel the 45 minutes for the love of our family member. I feel like I stepped back in time when being a vet was about caring for animals and not the dollar sign. They hide nothing from you, you see everything they do to your loved one. I just feel like he was a hidden jewel and wish we had discovered him long ago! read more

Not again. Gave my new puppy a bladder infection (36hrs after the visit). Had to take her to the emergency room for blood and puss in the urine. False diagnosis of a ear fungus that was contradicted by the ER Vet. Not to mentioned overcharging for on the spot services. A simple little well puppy exam turned into hundreds of dollars and a very sick animal. In short, if you like to give away money and don't mind poor aseptic procedures...go here. read more
