A service tech showed up promptly the next morning and confirmed we need a total system replacement. Yikes! Salesman shows up later in the day and presents pamphlets on Lennox and Daikin equipment, even showed prices, between $14,000-$16,000. Later he emailed the actual estimate, same prices, but now the equipment is Goodman, much lower quality of equipment. I got a much better deal from another local company $9,000. Be careful when dealing with salespeople in a moment of need. The worst part was, the salesman pulled the breaker from the outside unit so no cool air was being pushed out. After he left I put it back in for at least a little relief on these hot days!
