I paid $80 for a "diagnostic" on my vehicle. He did not provide a diagnostic, instead came and told me he would come back with a diagram to try and help resolve my issue. Wanted to charge me another $100 to come "diagnose" I asked if he would actually do a diagnosis this time and pinpoint me to the issue so I could fix it, couldn't give me a clear answer on that. Stated I didn't mention that my car was in a previous accident when that was a question that he never asked me when we had spoken over the phone prior to him coming. Stated false information as well, told me two of my wires weren't supposed to read 5V when that was not true, both WERE supposed to read 5V. I asked for a refund multiple times and was denied each time, luckily I didn't pay cash and will get that refund regardless. He could have been honest and provided the refund considering it will be pulled out of his account anyway but chose to be dishonest. I never once disrespected him and he still chose to be disrespectful. I've seen his responses to other negative reviews, that is definitely not who you want to hire to take care of you so I took the time to upload all the screenshots. Edit to your response: someone that doesn't know anything about cars? Thats hilarious considering I did all of the work on that car, I asked you to come fix one issue I was unable to and you came and did literally nothing. Where did I bend the truth exactly? Thats why I uploaded the screenshots because I knew you would try to say something like this. It's funny you keep saying 2 wires weren't supposed to be 5V because they were, did you forget I already brought someone else that fixed it? You know an actual mechanic. Still do not recommend. He's rude, unprofessional, and told my friend (who has experience fixing cars and was better suited to speak to him) that he could come down and fight after also cursing him out, just because I want a refund and to be reimbursed. I've now included a screenshot of my review and his comment, claiming it was my fiancé's fault. When as a "mechanic" it is your responsibility to make sure the vehicle is safe to operate after doing any work on it. Which you obviously didn't check. Now I've had to drop over $3000 on a transmission repair which my real mechanic connected to the melted plastic caused by this incident. "...Without even calling me first... You can call me yourself." First of all, I had someone speak to you, you threatened him. Second, Why am I going to call you after hearing that being said to someone who was being professional and trying to find a solution? Do not choose him for your needs, he's not a good one. Unethical-Broke down on the roadside I finally decided to call a mobile mechanic. Nate showed up in 2 hours, not bad considering others I called were booked, or available later. He charged me $80 for diagnostic, which I ready knew I had a broken belt. I asked if this applied to the repair, like other mobile mechanics I had spoken with. He said no it does not apply. He wrote me an estimate. With limited options I went with it. He left to get parts and come back, so he said. After awhile I text him you are coming back right? No answer. I text again later, are you coming back? He replied "I'll bring parts tomorrow." I responded what do you mean? I've been stranded here since last night! I need my car fixed today! He told me he was late to his next appt. Since he had to wait for me to transfer funds, so not gonna happen today. When I again objected he said "I'm out, I tried to help you, but you have an attitude". Shocked at this response I requested my $80 back for the "diagnostic" that he never picked up a screwdriver or even hooked up OBDII for my check engine light. Of course he denied the refund request I had paid through Cash App, since he can't take a credit card. So I have no recourse for a refund. I'm writing this review still stranded in my car. This all took place, and it's now after hours. I find it quite unethical that  "Mobile Mechanic", Nate, does not care he left a woman stranded, again, for the night. It is now the next day and I have another mobile mechanic that just told me I do not need a new water pump that was included in Nate's estimate . I want my wasted $80 refunded to me! That is a lie Nate. I never asked you if I could pay you next week. Still you are an unethical "mobile mechanic" and you took $80 from me under false pretenses you were coming back to fix my car and you never came back! read more

installed new stereo. well lets just say it's in the dashboard with a big hole he cut while trying to mount the stereo, plus the wire for e brake wasn't hooked up so that was why Bluetooth wasn't working! he had the instructions in front of him but maybe he can't read , I couldn't see it small print. so the next day battery is dead and stereo was on. it's hooked to a const hot so if your close the Bluetooth hooks up and stereo stay on . so disappointed I had asked him about the hole in dash ( he said it's the wrong stereo) ok so why the hole in dashboard. pretty shabby work if you can even call it work! watch out his work and the terrible things that he has said in text messages regarding this poor work! As stated i the stereo system was Amazon for that e350. He takes no responsibility for the HOLE IN MY DASHBOARD JUST BE WARE HE SCAMMED ) i have 12 text messages hes now threatening a olad guy beware! read more

Last week my battery was dying and had to jump it several times to keep it going until I could get it replaced. First I looked for just a battery to see if I could purchase it myself and install it myself since there's plenty of tutorials online on how to do this. I drive a 2012 Prius C and it was very hard to find an auto place that sold the battery I needed. Since I couldn't find that battery in stores and didn't want to wait to get something shipped, I decided to start messaging and calling around. After a few high quotes and being dicked around by the Toyota dealership, I contacted Nate and he was able to come over to replace my battery within about an hour or so of me contacting him (we had talked to day before when I was pricing things out but I had something come up and couldn't get the replacement done that night, but he quickly responded the next day when I recontacted him). Showed up when he said he would, was true to his pricing all the way through our correspondence, pricing was very reasonable, and overall was a quick and painless process. Terrible customer service. Just take a peak at his reviews, anyone that doesn't like his bad customer service gets a negative response because there's no possible way he could ever mess up. I had him do a simple battery swap months ago and he forgot to put the plastic air duct back on. It melted and I had to buy another. In a previous review he told my fiancé that it was my fault, I didn't secure the air duct after he finished. Why would I finish a job im paying for? I'll entertain him for a second, If he knew my that I forgot to put the air duct back on, why would he close my hood? What mechanic closes a hood on a car when parts aren't fully attached yet? The point is, most of us don't know about cars and we trust mechanics to do the right thing. He knew I forgot and didn't say anything, as you can tell by how he responded to my fiancé previously. That melted plastic ended up burning some wires that led to my transmission which is currently being replaced. His mistake (which of course he won't ever take responsibility for) cost me $3000. He's probably going to write a really negative comment saying it's my fault and try to bully me instead of what other good business owners do and in comments. Save yourselves thousands and go to reputable mechanic. Also, what professional business person tells you to meet them somewhere to fight because you aren't happy with their service? I had come from Las Vegas to San Diego for a weekend vacation with the family, and on the day we were leaving to go home the bolt on my Trac bar decided to back out. The nut had fallen off who knows where, but Nate saved the day. I called multiple mobile mechanics, but all of them told me it would be the next day, and they needed to get a nut from a dealer. Side note my car is a 2011 and has a LOT of miles on it... Well the only person who got back to me was Nate and he went above & beyond to get it so that I would be able to go home. He literally drove from clairemont mesa blvd to otay mesa to get a salvage part for me at a huge discount from the new part price. People have reviewed him saying he took their money and didn't do what he was supposed to do but honestly I have to say that if he were really doing those things he would not have his mechanic's license. I mean it was literally raining and he still did the work outside in the parking lot. The job cost more than it originally was estimated but he showed me clearly why that was the case and it made mechanical sense to me. Dishonest. So we used Nate a couple of times for brakes and suspension and thought he was okay. We have a Crown Victoria we are selling and the buyer asked if we knew a mechanic. We told both the buyer as Nate that the transmission cooler was leaking. Nate comes over replaced two hoses and the belt, we specifically told him the trans cooler was leaking. He worked on the car, started it up, charges the prospective buyer 480.00, takes off and doesn't leave an invoice. Within a minute there was the leak and no Nate. Called.him repeatedly to return with an invoice and to fix what we had called for. Two weeks later still no response and he even threatened to come over and handle it face to face. Really? By law he is required to give an invoice, please stay away. read more
