They were great! I was worried because I was on a tight budget and had other movers in the past quote me one price but after the moving was done it was way over the quote. This is to warn others of their not so honest movers ! Had a move and was missing some stuff. Confirmation for me, as I figured it was misplaced somewhere, was that I went to the website I ordered a total of 8 oversized totes. Took me a while to figure it out. Well ironically only 6 made it here AND the most heartbreaking thing was my parents ashes was in one of them ! I can never replace that - I am heartbroken. Am finding more and more stuff that never made it here. I did call the owner and he has all the trust in the world for his workers and he said he was going to look into it and call me back in a couple of days - that was a month ago ! First of all, I am writing this review a whold year after the move as it has taken us thais long to try to calm down enough to speak of it. We send this in order to try to save others from the heart break we went through. The name " All Pro Moving" couldn't be further from the truth as they are anything but professional! The quote That Steve gave me over the phone was to include the number of people he needed to assign to our move, the time needed, etc. He was way off and for someone who does this for a living, he should have planned a lot better as he was told by me just how much furniture was involved. I asked for his quote in writing and never got it. I was told I would get it the day of the move which also never happened even when I asked Arielle, the team leader and Steve's daughter. To start, I had moved everything from our two apartments for weeks before "moving day". They did not have to move anything that would have been in a box, drawer, closet, etc. They only had to move furniture and they messed that up miserably. I told him exactly the number of pieces of furniture to be moved and he gave me a "verbal" quote over the phone based on that list. The actual fee he charges me at the end of the move was THOUSANDS higher than what was quoted. Since i only got that figure at the end of the night of the move, I refused to sign it. He went aheads and charged the amount on our credit card anyway which we did not authorize! This move was from apartment to house within the same city only 8 minutes away. The move started out ok with the exception that there were no furniture blankets to cover our furniture which is something I had asked for. I asked the team leader/ daughter for the quote at the beginning of the move again and she said I'd get it at the end of the move. The crew was literally checking out everything we owned especially in the garage such as tires, fencing, plywood, etc. At $375.00 per hour the team leader also took a good 20 minutes to show pictures on her phone of her so called art work which i did not appreciate. Worst of all they broke two of our couches by cramming them into each other in the truck with no furniture covers. One couch had just been bought that year and was in brand new condition but when they were done with it there were two legs missing and fabric on the corners was all torn. They actually unscrew the legs of the couches and put them in a milk crate and put that in the moving truck so how they can lose them is beyond me. They also lost two to the other couch. That second sofa is a bit older but a very expensive one that was in perfect condition. They lost two of thos legs as well and cracked the frame! I went out to the truck to ask the crew leader to come and look at that cracked frame and when she did, she very dismissively just said " glue it". I was furious to say the least. Just so you know, you can't have a couch stand without all it's legs and definitely not with a cracked frame. This is the same team leader who took one of my antiques when she was initially loading the truck to run down the hallway of the apartment and use it as a doorstop. I had to go retrieve it and I said if they were professionals they would bring doorstops and not use my antiques to hold a door open. At the end of the move this same team leader swept out her moving truck debris into our driveway to include a piece of my husband's bench grinder which they broke off of it. I was trying to coordinate the move once they got to our house from inside the house. They had large totes clearly marked either for the cellar or for the upstairs. They must not be able to read as some heavy totes that were clearly marked "cellar" were left in upstairs bedrooms leaving them for me, a 70 year old woman, to try to move later. I also witnessed one of the girl movers literally pushing a box down the bulkhead stairs. I went outside when I saw that and and asked her" what are you doing?' My question was met with apathy and sarcasm. The apartment comlex called me the next day to tell me they had left some items of ours in the hallway of the apartment we left. I couldn't be there to check on those final items as I had to leave to go to the house we were moving into to meet them there. It should have literally taken them no more than minutes to get to the house as we are only 8 minutes away from the apartment and they said they were done loading but it took them over an hour later. I guess we had to pay for their lunch break as well! I was so upset by the end of this very long horrendous moving day and considering all that happened that day that i refused to sign their paper work at 8pm that night when they finished. The tem leader kept calling daddy from the truck and he kept calling me askinbg me to sign it. I refused and asked him if he wanted to come over and see the damages and he refused. He told me he would remove the Overtime fee only. More to say but no room! read more

All Pro Movers were recommended to us by our relator. I spoke with Steve (the owner) and made arrangements to move our furniture. Once they picked it up, we hit an unexpected snag with a closing date and Steve was more than accommodating with holding our furniture until we were able to close a few days later. He was able to arrange for us to have our furniture delivered to our new place right after closing. He was very fair with his pricing. The crew of Airelle, Dawby, Brandon and Manny did a great job of loading and unloading the truck, respectful of the property and assembling the furniture and locating it in our new home as asked. the worst . They are con artists . They charged us by the hour ( which I really had hoped they were good and honest people-they are not). they sent their slower packer to pack us up. Our furniture took a hit and they are terrible at packing. We had broken items ( ex- our 700 dollar milenium falcon ) and some dishes. A lot of mislabeled boxes. They used a TON of paper to pack that they didn't need to. ( Example- they papered plasticware - who does that!?)Do not use this company- you will be disappointed. read more

STAY AWAY!!! I wish I could leave NO STARS since that is what they deserve. My senior sister in law was scheduled to be moved today and they never showed up! And of course they did not answer her calls. Apparently, the woman she spoke with, Arielle, told her that it was a family business and she should make the check out to Arielle personally. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I wish she checked the reviews before booking them. UPDATE: Both my sister in law and my husband received a text from Arielle around 7pm saying that her husband's father had a medical emergency and that she could move my sister in law the next day. We were sorry to hear about her father in law but that is no excuse for the failure to call, text, or show up. As I said before, completely unprofessional! I used All Pro in 2012 to move the contents of my 5 bedroom home. I need to move this summer, 2014, and All Pro WILL NOT BE on my list of movers to get a quote from. No matter how low the quote, my peace of mind is worth a lot more. All Pro sent 3 movers for a five hour period as agreed upon. Of the 3, one was courteous, one was unfriendly, and the 3rd I just wanted to fire on the spot. He was rude, careless and lazy. He took a hand made quilt that was lying on a table and started to wipe down furniture that I had stored in the basement because he did not want to touch dusty furniture. I was mortified as the quilt was a treasured item. They complained how heavy my leather couch, love seat, chair and ottoman were. It was a pretty easy move out as items were on one floor. When they got to my new residence, they complained about carrying my solid oak bedroom furniture to the upstairs bedroom. Since I would not be at the receiving end of the move, they had me pay for the move to which I added $25.00 for each mover. It wasn't till later in the day that I discovered: 1.)They tore the leather backs on my new recliners. 2.)They did not know how to properly remove the backs for easy moving so they lifted the recliners by the suede covered arms which tore them loose from the leather. 3.)They cracked the foot on the nightstand. To add insult to a poor experience, a communication failure between my husband and myself caused my husband to also tip them $100.00 not knowing I had already tipped them. They were not honest enough to even let him know I already took care of the tip. I mentioned all of this via phone and in writing. The owner/manager was not even courteous enough to reply. He may be responding to the comments here but over 2 years later, I have not had a response or compensation for the damage. read more

Showed up an hour late (without any notice- I had to call them), convinced me to have them move my 70 inch TV stating it would "be fine and they haven't had a claim on a tv before" which ended up being damaged in the move, dropped some things while coming off the truck with no apologies, "misplaced" $100 cash that I paid them), did not check their moving truck for forgotten items at the end of the move (our dog bowls were left), charged me until 3:55pm when the time was 3:25pm. This company is not taking responsibility for the damaged TV despite clear facts of it working the morning it was moved to not working when dropped off. They are not willing to work with us at all with any type of TV repair. This company has somewhat good pricing but don't do it! Very unprofessional. read more

If you are interested in upcharge after upcharge that is not explained in the "estimate," then this is the company for you. They were supposed to be here Thursday and did not arrive till 11:30 Saturday and in a Semi when we were told repeatedly there would be 6 men in a 28 foot straight truck. There were two men in a 53' truck showed up to our house on a dead-end street that has two 90 degree turns prior to our house. The first thing the driver said upon getting out of the truck was "How do I get out of here?" I used to drive and I wasn't sure how we would accomplish it. We had a hassle all day with the company as to the count of "items." A bed, which I considered one item, turned into six items (headboard, footboard, side rails, and then added the slats as 5 more). They talk items and pieces out of one side of their mouth and cubic footage on the other and then surprise you with excess weight when they decide what you told them is not what they input into their system. We dismissed the driver and helper ( nice fellows that we took to lunch) and decided it was cheaper to eat the deposit and move ourselves in rental trucks. NEVER AGAIN. This was a chaotic and unconventional move. The staff was beyond accommodating to all our craziness and filled with compassion and respect when were not as prepared as we should have been. While we didn't end up using All Pro Moving & Storage I want to write a review because I was so impressed with the way they do business and their customer service. Steve spoke with me at length on the phone before setting up to have someone come to the house to do inventory. he explained how the move would work and the pricing for each part of my move. My move wasn't a standard point A to point B. Arielle came to my house and spent almost 2 hours making an inventory. Along the way she gave me so many useful hints for packing. Had budget not been an issue I would have used this company in a heart beat. read more

My mom used All Pro to move from New Hampshire to Virginia. All Pro said they could accommodate the "long-distance" move and quoted us $.90/lb. They came and loaded the truck with three guys. Things went smooth. They were set to arrive in VA 2 or 3 days later. Three days later the truck and one guy arrived to move my mom into her 3rd floor apartment (which they knew up front). Since much of my moms furniture is solid wood there was no way one guy was going to get most of it upstairs by himself. My mom asked why they didn't send more than one person, the guy said he "couldn't find anyone to help him" (which tells me they anticipated having more than one guy). My mom spent 8+ hours working, doing manual labor (she's in her 50s) and spent the next two says recovering. If she had wanted to move herself she would have rented a uHaul for less than 1/3 of the cost. Additionally since she was helping move her furniture in, she couldn't show the guy where to put stuff so most of it only made it into her living room, so after paying $4500 she had to spend the following days moving furniture around. I called the company to discuss our displeasure with how the move went I first spoke with Georgette who couldn't help. She said I needed to speak with Steve, but he could call me directly since I wasn't on the contract. She said Steve would call my mom back the following day. At noon when we hadn't heard anything I called and asked for Steve. When I got him on the phone he had every excuse why this wasn't uncommon and why it shouldn't have been an issue. I stated that he should talk to his guy and figure out what happened and come back to me/my mom with an offer to resolve this. He said he would call Monday (this was on a Friday). After again not hearing from him my mom called. This time Steve was "unavailable" and Georgette handled it. she returned my moms phone call to say that of the $4500+ bill she could credit the unload cost of $168. WTF?!? Really? The furniture showed up on time and undamaged and that's the reason for the 1 star. Otherwise I wouldn't have given any. read more

I used All Pro last year and for fear of retaliation waited to write this review. They showed up buzzed. Not sure from what. Most of my furniture was damaged from dings, scratches to the door on my hutch was broken beyond repair. They were courteous most of the time but some of them were just walking around trying to make small talk, wasting time. At times they would fight amongst themselves. We also had a terrible experience with this company. We had arranged to move on a specific date weeks in advance of the actual move. As it turns out, there was a major snowstorm that hit the area on the day of our move, which anyone who was anywhere near a television or radio within 5 days of the storm can tell you was on the way. Instead of calling us and making alternative arrangements, they decided to not show up instead. We had hired them for 9:00am that day, and by 10:00am, there was still no truck at our place. My wife called the owner who had no confirmation of us ever scheduling the move. He then had to call a crew in on the day of a snowstorm to move us, which went over really well with his crew. They finally showed up to our old apartment around 12:00pm, 3 hours late. Since we have young kids who were being taken care of that day, every minute was important to us. One of the crew members (who we assume was the one that was called in) did nothing but swear and complain the entire time. My wife overheard the same guy say when he got there that he just wanted to get this over with. They were extremely rude to my wife in general. We found this to be completely unprofessional. My wife and I packed our SUV up with the kitchen stuff since they were so late and I took it over to the new place to unpack and get started. When they finally got to the old apartment, my wife asked them if she needed to be there, and they told her that it didn't matter ether way. She left them with the instructions "Everything goes except for the stuff that is marked 'stays here'." To our amazement, when we went back the next day to clean our old place, there were several items that were left behind which we had asked them to bring over. When we e-mailed the owner to complain (with pictures), he was completely unapologetic, saying he would talk with his crew the next day and they did us a favor by moving us in a snowstorm. I would not recommend this company to anybody. They were inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. read more

I would definitely give them less than 1 star but wanted to be sure this review would show up. I hired this "company" in August of 2013. Worst possible mistake, not sure a worse personal experience could exist. These guys were an hour late to start & so slow that I had to move items as well to speed up the 5.5 hour ordeal. That's nothing though compared to rest of the move. I would have much rather have dealt with the glass frame of a picture that shattered and my bed frame scratched to hell than to have had to deal with the uncomfortableness I experienced during this move. To sum it up, these 3 guys were an hour late to start, completely unprofessional in how they spoke to me as a female and then one of guys smelled like he had his last beer, after a night of drinking, in the truck as they pulled in to my driveway. Here are some highlights of my $800+ day with these idiots. The guy that smelled like a drunk was ok as far as not making me feel uncomfortable by his remarks but looked and talked like he was scouted out for the job underneath a bridge somewhere. The other guy started in on me at my former home with comments about how he felt I looked and then continued at my new home, commenting on my clothes and how he "wished his wife would wear dresses like this" or that "these dresses are really sexy, actually I really like lingerie best." Despite my just ignoring his commentary, it got worse. As I was hauling some of the items I had moved in my car myself into the elevator, I had the unfortunate experience of hearing these words come out of his mouth: "you know I have always had one wish in life...to have $&* in an elevator". I was so uncomfortable at this point, I couldn't believe what I was hearing and thanking God I was only on the second floor. There was more delightful commentary like this but I will spare you the rest. At the end if all this I expressed my unhappiness to the owner about his"crew" and did not get much of a response. Then my boyfriend actually wrote him an email as well and he didn't have much to beyond "I am taking care of the issue". All I have to say is that I would not recommend this sorry excuse for a company to ANYONE! Who ever thought that being harassed would actually come with a price tag like this. Be forewarned! I have used movers many times while moving throughout the country for the military, and All Pro Moving was by far the worst I have ever experienced. From start to finish, it was a terrible experience. The amount billed was more than twice the estimate. The packing and pick up took far longer than promised, going into the next day and impacting travel plans. One of the workers was drinking while packing. The condition of our possessions at the time of delivery was poor with items damaged or missing. I could not cite a single, positive thing about my experience with All Pro Moving. read more

We used this moving company for packing our house and moving. On the second day three packers and movers arrived in the AM. There was a woman as part of the team with 2 men. during this time, I walked into my room to find the woman sifting through my nigh stand drawer, where I keep all prescription drugs,picking up the bottles and reading what the prescription was. I was shocked, as movers and packers of good standing, never pack RX drugs, jewelry or money. That is standard protocal. She also approached my husband about his prescription drugs, and he told her where they were. Just a few hours later, highly controlled prescription drugs, that we both take, were not to be found. I am certain that this woman stole the controlled drugs, as they were not in the container with all of our other rx drugs and vitamins. And only the highly controlled drugs were taken, bottles and all. I called the moving company located in Manchester, New Hampshire, asked the owner to call me, but received no reply. A report was made to the proper authorities and agencies. This moving company lacks professionalism on all important levels. If you use them, make sure you have secured all valuable possessions, prescription drugs, jewelry and money before they arrive. I believe a drug user would look for a job like this, and in our case, being over 65, perhaps even targeted by this woman. Beware! read more

Recently had Allpro move us from a 2 bedroom apartment in Bedford to a single family home in Manchester. They arrived on time and were very courteous, polite and professional. They moved all of our belongings in about 3 hours, including some heavy oak pieces. The cost was reasonable (just under $500) for the move. They took good care of our belongings and everything went smoothly. I would not hesitate to use the company again for a move. Honestly, it probably did not cost alot more than renting a UHaul when you figure in the truck, insurance, mileage, and fuel. read more

Just got left high and dry! I had hired All Pro a couple of years ago and the crew they sent was great. They moved me from Nashua to Weare and they were flawless. Today however is a different story. I scheduled this move a couple of months ago with an agreed upon start time and budget. Apparently the start time is actually a 2 hour window I was not made aware of. To further complicate things the town of Weare decided to pave my road without alerting anybody on my road. There was a miscommunication with the movers and a laborer on the paving crew which resulted in the All Pro's guys yelling profanities at the paving crew then leaving me to move an entire house full of furniture by myself all the while Weare's road agent was actually trying to help them get their truck into my driveway. But none of that mattered at that point because I had already had profanities screamed through the phone at me by the owner of All Pro because his crew couldn't wait a couple of minutes for us to figure a simple solution. My move was not a small one by any means but they were so helpful and accommodating. As I read some other reviews, I won't believe it was the core 3 guys I had for almost 3 days. I called AllPro on a Thursday for a Saturday move. They accommodated our move within two days due to finishing a job earlier than expected. The weather was a combination of downpours and wind. They had a callout that morning but still managed to arrive with the scheduled 3 men who were all professional. The lead mover was clear, professional, and down to earth. Our move began with the expectation of a 5 hour move, however as the day progressed they accommodated us by assisting to load our personal vehicles as well. The lead gentleman was clear as the move progressed that we would likely run over 5 hours and gave me an estimate 3/4 way through the move so I would be prepared. All our belongings were handled with care, nothing was broken, all items were kept dry, they were polite and made friendly conversation as multiple members of my family were helping clean our house. The men worked extremely hard and only took about 2-3, 5 min breaks after moving several large items. Our move was considered a "medium job" and was completed within 7.5 hours. read more

I hire pro movers for the 1st of dec they show up on time. At my house I was moving out of they where great they did a few extras things for us and gave them each an extra $50.00 for doing ok for us. When we got to the new place it started out good but ended bad they just was putting stuff anyplace they wanted to. When it was time to pay them they had no change to give me back so they made another $10.00 on me but here is the good part. They charged my credit card another$595.00 for my move. When I called the office he said he did not do that but it was taking out of my credit card. He told me he get right back to me and about 15 min he called me back and told me they make a mistake it was someone else bill and I payed for it. He said he called the back and my money would be back in my account within the hour well 3 hours still no money I called him back and he said I don't know what to tell u you will have to wait. I also asked him if anything bounced was he going to make good on it and he said no why should I oh my it your fault not mine. What made me mad to was he said the other person name was just like my but it was nothing like mine. I would never use them again and I wonder how mane other people got screwed. I recently used All Pro Moving and Storage to move during the toughest time of the year...the winter! They were absolutely fabulous and very thorough, for example, wrapping glass and mirrors properly before moving. From the beginning of dealing with them to schedule the appt, they eased my stress. The day of the move went very smoothly and efficiently. I am utilizing their storage as well, so those items were packed first. The apartment I was going into had a large narrow staircase and they even turned a bureau upside down in order to get it through. My brother used this company years ago and I remembered their name. Ok where do I start? They were late. Supposed to be there betwen 8:30 and 9:30 am. Showed up at 9:40. Ok no big deal. 3 people 2 guys and a girl. Oh btw the girl is the owners daughter. We shall call her chatty cathy cause mostly what she did was flip her hair and chat. Oh ya ahorts so short I got a nice view of her cute little ass as she jogged up the stairs. Btw my sons both said thanks for the show! Found out after the fact that the 4 hr min. Did not mean that if you actually took the 4 hrs you would be charge for 4 hrs. Actually if you take 7.5 hours you are charged for 8.5 hours. Oh wait btw if you go over 8 hours you get charged time and a half! And ya if you packed it it aint covered by insurance so if it gets broke oh well sucks to be you. So we had chatty Cathy a guy who barely spoke English and did not even bring water with him but worked like crazy. So I had to have my son go buy them water because it was 90 degrees and they didnt even bring water. Then we also had George. He was the guy in charge. No complaints with him. Except saw him on his phone often. They could not take all my stuff. When I called for a quote I explained I had a 2 bedroom townhouse with 2 baths and a basement. Ok yes 4 peeps lived there and we had a lot of stuff but I said that from the get go. I was severly under quoted. Was told at the very worst it would cost 900. Yup was lots more. Remember 7.5 hours is actually 8.5 hours with 1/2 hour at time and a half oh ya lots more than 900. Remember that insurance doesn't cover shit well lets see beoken items: bookshelf,lamp shades, dryer, picture frames (glass) and God knows what else. Ok so I hired a moving company because my husband and sons all have bad backs and I didn't want to hurt them. Well my son who was a mover and he told me they didn't have enough room for all the stuff because they didn't pack right and btw the only reason it only took 7.5 hours is because he helped them. Also every time I or anyone in my family went near the truck we saw George and Chatty Cathy texting. The only one who was working all thr time was the waterless guy!
