They were polite, respectful and professional. From there, they sent us an estimate and answered any additional questions that I had. They assured us that they would do everything needed to protect our furniture and the flooring in our home. A week before moving, a phone call to check in to see if we needed anything more, how the packing was going and a confirmation of the time of the move. Day of the move, we were called once the team left the warehouse. They arrived on time, with the team they needed and the two trucks they estimated would carry our possessions. There was a team leader and another tour of the house to keep everyone on the same page. The guys were great!! Again, everyone wore masks, removed shoes and worked as a team to wrap, yes wrap our furniture in saran and then blankets. The guys were "please", "thank you" and "may I"; very polite, soft spoken and enjoyed comraderie among themselves. Before leaving for the new location, they asked us to check out each room to be sure there was nothing left behind. They kept us in the loop as to what they were going to do step by step. When we got to the new location, it was the same thing. They took a tour of the home, and began placing boxes, furniture, etc... where we had designated. They placed furniture and confirmed it was where we wanted it. There were a couple of changes we made to due the downsized space, and they were great about it. "No problem, we can do that." At the end of the day, we walked through again to be sure that everything was in the spot we wanted. I can't say enough about Trend and our moving process. They were great and so appreciative of the gratuity provided.

Finally was told at 4PM they would be coming the next day. I was taking my daughter to airport that day. I never talked to a person to say that date would not work. They came anyway. Today 8/20 -or 9 days from original delivery date the items were delivered. They came in a large truck. They were plainly instructed to stop truck on pavement and not drive truck on grass. They drove 45 ft onto my grass even as I was standing in my yard waving my arms STOP. Driver was Clueless. Once they unloaded the items into my home (I had paid for White Glove Service) it was fine. Co. attempts to have no direct contact with customer. They leave texts of when delivery will be coming. If that does not work as in my case the attitude is "too bad, not my problem." It was not a good experience. I would not use this company again.

First of all, I am writing this review a whold year after the move as it has taken us thais long to…read moretry to calm down enough to speak of it. We send this in order to try to save others from the heart break we went through. The name " All Pro Moving" couldn't be further from the truth as they are anything but professional! The quote That Steve gave me over the phone was to include the number of people he needed to assign to our move, the time needed, etc. He was way off and for someone who does this for a living, he should have planned a lot better as he was told by me just how much furniture was involved. I asked for his quote in writing and never got it. I was told I would get it the day of the move which also never happened even when I asked Arielle, the team leader and Steve's daughter. To start, I had moved everything from our two apartments for weeks before "moving day". They did not have to move anything that would have been in a box, drawer, closet, etc. They only had to move furniture and they messed that up miserably. I told him exactly the number of pieces of furniture to be moved and he gave me a "verbal" quote over the phone based on that list. The actual fee he charges me at the end of the move was THOUSANDS higher than what was quoted. Since i only got that figure at the end of the night of the move, I refused to sign it. He went aheads and charged the amount on our credit card anyway which we did not authorize! This move was from apartment to house within the same city only 8 minutes away. The move started out ok with the exception that there were no furniture blankets to cover our furniture which is something I had asked for. I asked the team leader/ daughter for the quote at the beginning of the move again and she said I'd get it at the end of the move. The crew was literally checking out everything we owned especially in the garage such as tires, fencing, plywood, etc. At $375.00 per hour the team leader also took a good 20 minutes to show pictures on her phone of her so called art work which i did not appreciate. Worst of all they broke two of our couches by cramming them into each other in the truck with no furniture covers. One couch had just been bought that year and was in brand new condition but when they were done with it there were two legs missing and fabric on the corners was all torn. They actually unscrew the legs of the couches and put them in a milk crate and put that in the moving truck so how they can lose them is beyond me. They also lost two to the other couch. That second sofa is a bit older but a very expensive one that was in perfect condition. They lost two of thos legs as well and cracked the frame! I went out to the truck to ask the crew leader to come and look at that cracked frame and when she did, she very dismissively just said " glue it". I was furious to say the least. Just so you know, you can't have a couch stand without all it's legs and definitely not with a cracked frame. This is the same team leader who took one of my antiques when she was initially loading the truck to run down the hallway of the apartment and use it as a doorstop. I had to go retrieve it and I said if they were professionals they would bring doorstops and not use my antiques to hold a door open. At the end of the move this same team leader swept out her moving truck debris into our driveway to include a piece of my husband's bench grinder which they broke off of it. I was trying to coordinate the move once they got to our house from inside the house. They had large totes clearly marked either for the cellar or for the upstairs. They must not be able to read as some heavy totes that were clearly marked "cellar" were left in upstairs bedrooms leaving them for me, a 70 year old woman, to try to move later. I also witnessed one of the girl movers literally pushing a box down the bulkhead stairs. I went outside when I saw that and and asked her" what are you doing?' My question was met with apathy and sarcasm. The apartment comlex called me the next day to tell me they had left some items of ours in the hallway of the apartment we left. I couldn't be there to check on those final items as I had to leave to go to the house we were moving into to meet them there. It should have literally taken them no more than minutes to get to the house as we are only 8 minutes away from the apartment and they said they were done loading but it took them over an hour later. I guess we had to pay for their lunch break as well! I was so upset by the end of this very long horrendous moving day and considering all that happened that day that i refused to sign their paper work at 8pm that night when they finished. The tem leader kept calling daddy from the truck and he kept calling me askinbg me to sign it. I refused and asked him if he wanted to come over and see the damages and he refused. He told me he would remove the Overtime fee only. More to say but no room!

An hour and a 1/2 before they were supposed to arrive, I received a text stating that their truck would not start and that they could not do the move that day but offered to come on Monday. I was frantic because we did not have flexibility in our move and it had to be done that weekend. It took me 3 calls to actually speak with someone. I emphasized to Grayson, one of the owners, our lack of flexibility and begged him to consider renting a truck. He said he would look into this, however, over the next two hours I heard nothing from him, despite trying to call him numerous times. I finally received another text stating that he would not be able to come that day but was trying to call another company for us. We never heard from him again! After hours of panic and 100s of calls, we eventually found another company willing to do the move last minute for an exorbitant price. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and unreliable moving company before. I understand that things happen but a professional company would attempt to rectify it and also would actually call you and answer your calls. Moving is stressful enough, you do NOT need a moving company that just doesn't show up!

Pricing was fair and they were offering a discount if we booked, so we did. A few days prior to move, I called the mover to add items not on our inventory that we were originally going to move that we knew we wouldn't have time to. They ended up not being able to move most of it in time - so we did it anyway but got charged. We also moved our lamps which were on the inventory that they suggested we move ourselves or they would have to pack them. We were moving items with our enclosed trailer that we told mover we were going to do and what specifically we would be handling. No scope was affected. The week of the move, they requested to come day before to stage items to prep. They did not visit us any other time prior to move to check readiness or offer packing services. Two movers came and moved boxes that were ready into garage. Sounded like a plan, but the items moved now had no organization by room, stacked heavy on top of fragile, blocked garage doors, and blocked areas we needed to access to finish packing. We discovered this late in day. We then moved what they moved to repack damaged boxes and get our garage doors closed for the night. This stole much time needed to finish packing and prep for next day. Day of move, they showed up with 1 box truck and a small Uhaul. Did not seem adequate and it wasn't. They showed up earlier than scheduled while we are trying to finish up due to the delay they caused prior day. We asked them to wait until scheduled time. Owner was not happy about that because he was paying people that weren't working. So, we let them start in basement instead of upstairs. Only one mover spoke English, and the owner was there for a short time to get them started. This made it difficult to communicate with the team. We know we were not 100% ready, but what they did didn't help. They were not organized with no apparent process. We tried to make sure things we didn't want moved were noted and out of way, but they still packed and loaded items we were going to take, leave, or trash. If there were questions, they didn't ask. They did pack 5- 6 boxes in basement. They filled the 2 trucks, but they were unable to take everything they were hired to in 1 day. We had to use our trailer to move some inventory because they couldn't! After they finished loading, they asked where the new house was? We were dumbfounded by that question, because it should be known. They thought it was close, but it was an hour away. We assumed they'd arrive around an hour later at our new house. They didn't show up until late afternoon. Again, very difficult to communicate with the team speaking little English. I walked them through the house, explained where the rooms were by name, so they'd know where items were going. However, they couldn't read the boxes, and we had to direct every single box where it needed to go. Still things ended up in the wrong place. We ended up buying the mover team dinner as they had worked very hard throughout the day and went very late to ~10 p.m. They gave us the choice to do more that night or do in morning? We chose next morning. Thank goodness we had an extra day to move before closing. On day 2, there were no movers on site that truly spoke or understood English. They tried very hard and got the move done but it was inefficient. This left us very little time to prep the old house to be ready for buyer walk through at end of day. I informed movers I had to finish that first before meeting them at new house. They agreed and would go help with another job and then meet us at house later in afternoon. Day 2 finished late again. After moving, we discovered our $2K TV was damaged beyond repair (they packed); a piece of furniture was damaged and needed repair. We bought insurance with this company and put in a claim. They offered a small amount of money to replace TV and repair furniture. In exchange, we were required to sign a document agreeing we could not give them a bad review anywhere ever (required by their attorney; not industry). I declined to accept insurance due to this statement. Get hard copies of all documents and do your due diligence. My fault for not doing so - I trusted and assumed. In the end, the company charged more than quoted. Some of it warranted and some of it not. We gave owner the feedback above and more. He says he tried to address with us - not true. First call he denied it all and blamed us. In writing, he would not accept and changed nothing. We tried to come to terms with this company before writing any review. We did pay the full amount and did not accept the insurance as noted. The owner accepted no fault and no input! We've made large moves before with much better movers. Do your research. The good movers will quote higher but will deliver better service!

Here is the typical bait-and-switch used by some moving companies:…read more1) They do a walk-through and provide a low-ball quote. 2) They send you a contract with a supposed inventory of items to be moved and you sign it. 3) They fill half the truck and then say "you have items that aren't on the inventory...it will be an extra...30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, or 100% relative to the quote". At that point, if you say "unload the truck" they'll charge you up to half the quote amount for their time and effort. If you don't pay, you will never see your items again. When you argue that you have a signed contract they'll say "but these items weren't on the inventory and you signed the contract." How you can safeguard yourself: 1) If possible, provide a very detailed inventory that is irrefutable and make sure it is included in the contract 2) Take pictures of every room and every angle and every item and attach, along with the inventory from (1), to the contract before you sign. If the company balks at (1) and (2) find someone else. Why do some companies do this? Because their initial low-ball quote is what gets you hooked. In the end, you'll end up paying the same or more than market rate.

You can visibly see the fold in the Tempur-pedic mattress. When we tried to hold it up to see if we could stabilize it, one of our three pictures we had "professionally" packed was being leaned on by the mattress. The box was bending. The professional packing consisted of two cardboard panels taped together. The frame of our Thomas Kinkad painting was hanging out with the tape on it. We were charged for 5 hours of labor plus for the "professional" packing of the painting. My husband tip the movers in cash. They were nice guys. We let them take a bunch of things we had out our goodwill pile which took away from the time we were charged for labor. I contacted the office the following day via email with the photos attached. The office manager and I corresponded via email. On 9/24, they agreed mattress should have been placed against the wall to ensure the flatness of it and strapped down. She did note we had not rented or purchase any straps from them. The crew did stated to her they thought the picture was more secure than the pictures show and assumed it moved during transport of the MI-BOX. (THE POD HAD NOT BEEN MOVED BETWEEN THEM LEAVING AND WHEN THE PICTURES ATTACHED WERE TAKEN). Included in the office manager's response was: " Typically, College Bound Movers is not liable for items once the doors to the MI-BOX close. Any claims would go against go against your content's insurance. You did provide your homeowners for coverage. As a customer service courtesy, i am going to offer you a customer service refund of one hour labor time and the mattress cover." I responded back to the office manager the same day. The "assumption" on their part that the paintings shifted during transport was not true. The POD had not left the driveway between the time they left & the pictures were taken. It's a week later and there has been no further correspondence from her.
