I took my wife's car here a few days ago to get smogged. I sat for about 10 minutes as they finished up the car they were currently smogging and they took the customer that was ahead of me next. While they were in the process of smogging his vehicle a lady walks up and stands at the counter (both of the guys working there were in the back doing the smog) so one of the guys comes in and asks her how he can help her today. Keep in mind I've now been sitting in the waiting area for over 20 minutes with no "We'll be right with you", "What can we do for you?", or even so much as eye contact acknowledging I was patiently waiting to be helped. I left and went somewhere else. I can understand when things get busy. However, to not even have the time to say "We will be right with you" and then take a different customer who walked in 15 minutes after I'd been sitting there and help her first? Where's the manners and customer service these days? I took her car elsewhere and was helped by a very friendly lady and a team of techs who actually had it together. My truck is coming up for smog in Feb. and you can be SURE these guys won't be seeing a penny of my money. read more

I went to All Pro Smog so I can get the smog test to renew my registration. After reading all the reviews, it sounded like a winner. I took advantage of the "$25 yelp deal" and called ahead to set up an appointment. I was reassured that an appointment wouldn't be needed due to their fast service and that I would be in and out within 15-20 minutes. When I got there and all was said and done, I was quoted for an hour and half wait time, not to mention the certificate fee was not included in the $25 coupon despite what others have commented where the fee was included. The person helping me even told me he wasn't sure why people kept saying it was included. $8.25 for a certificate wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. I received a call that my car was finished two and a half hours later. I understand businesses get busy from time to time, but this was the exact reason I tried calling ahead to schedule an appointment beforehand. Had I not had a "Plan B," I would have been late to work... The only redeeming factor to the experience was that the owner made a special arrangement with me to pick up my car after hours since I needed to go to work and would not have been able to pick it up until after they closed. All in all, the job was done without any snags and I got what I paid for. However, I probably won't return to All Pro Smog due to the long wait time and miscommunication over the certificate fee. read more

This is my preferred smog station. The way smog stations should be -- no frills, get on the dyno, get your cert, get out. The service is always quick. I recommend making an appointment and it'll be even faster. The guys who work here are always cool and the tech is pretty knowledgable. My first visit was due to the Penny Saver ad -- they give discounts to military. I support businesses that support our troops! read more

I can only say great things about this place! My car needed a smog so I went on Yelp to see the different shops around Tracy. This place had the best reviews. So I decided to give this place a try. I was immediately greeted once I got to the counter. The man working was nice and made everything easy. The wait was about 20 minutes which was reasonable because there was a decent amount of people waiting. The waiting area has many chairs and a flat screen tv to watch. They have a coupon available for smog checks! You can either print out the coupon or just show the coupon off your phone! I plan on getting all my smogs done here from now on! read more

Highly recommend taking your car here. I've been coming here for awhile now. It's the only place I take my car to get smogged. They get through customers quick, which is a huge plus. Nobody likes sitting in a waiting area hoping your car passes smog for long. Always get good customer service when I go here. Also, buy that Yelp deal. My smog was done in 10 minutes! That was great, but what wasn't so great was that I had an appointment for 1pm and had to sit in the waiting room until 2pm before my car was pulled in. This was apparently because there were many other people already in line and my appointment was "on a Post-It note from a couple days before." The moral of this story? Don't bother with an appointment. read more

I do not recommend this place. On more than one occasion they did not have a Technician available to do it. They charge $20 to remove and install the "Dog House", which is the engine cover that is inside of the cab of a van. If your vehicle needs a re-test they will charge another $20 to remove and reinstall. It took me two minutes to remove the damn thing my. There's enough other places in Tracy that perform smog tests try them. read more

Wouldn't honor a coupon because we didn't print it out when the website clearly states to show mobile coupon or print out. Once I told them I was giving them a bad review on yelp I got a call on the way home that they would honor it. Too late. Plenty of smog places in town that honor that price and appreciate customers in this very competitive business. *owner said he would make good on this smog and I haven't heard back from him. Went in today for my smog check and couldn't be more pleased. Service was fast and excellent. Only had to wait about 10-15 minutes and everything was smooth. I no longer go here, because FYI if you work in Contruction and you have an after market Catalyst converter and part numbers are rubbed off by rocks / dirt and it's still new 1 year old but still has some numbers left. All pro will do the smog and tell you after about it, when they us a Mirror and go under your car to look with their eyes and don't say anything about before they proceed any further. Keep the money I will go somewhere else where they will keep it 100% . If anyone has this problem here at (All Crooks) goooo and pay $50 at another place that knows and are pro's this place is not and I will never be back here. After 4 years later of using the same car and same catalyst convert I still pass smog in 2021.Bye no pro read more

Awful. Made an appointment, went at that time. They are baffled by the idea of an appointment and say I never made one. Extremely rude staff of teenagers says I will wait nearly 2 hours. Went literally around the corner to one of the many other smog shops. Over and done in 10 minutes. Avoid All Pro Smog like the plague. read more

A hassle and unprofessional. A lot of time wasted due to their "glitch" in their system that provided an incorrect vin number for my vehicles thus approval was denied by DMV...to top things off it is apparent there is 0 professionalism as I found a finger drawing in dust, of a penis near my engine....NEVER going back here again. read more

I bring my 2007 Porsche Boxster to this shop for a routine smog check. The guy at the front tells me they can do it so I fill out the paperwork and wait there. It takes 1 hour and 15min for them to take my car in. After the mechanic which is a different guy fiddles with it for a bit, he calls me to the other side of the shop and with all his mechanic wisdom asks me where the engine is on a Boxster. I point to the middle of the car at this point he tells me some older porsche have the engine in the back. This guy obviously knows nothing since all freaking 911s have the engine on the back even newer ones boxster had always been in the middle. Well long story short he tells me that since he can't see the engine he can't pass me on the smog. Why didn't you tell me that in the beginning? What scares me is that this is a repair center as well. If I had a donkey I wouldn't let you repair it. read more

Called for an appointment. They said no appointment needed, just come in any time and get smog check right away. Got there and was told there was a 2 hour wait. I complained that I received misleading information. They said that they always have a wait. I asked way I wasn't informed when I called. They did not respond to my question, They just kept saying that you don't need an appointment. Interestingly, my check engine light was not on when I entered the smog station, It came on during the smog check and my car failed to pass.
