I waited until 10:30 only to be informed the tech (supposedly site owner) was still not in but they expected him 'soon'. I sat there waiting for 90+ minutes and they failed to do any work. Hello, I am going to start with if I could give it negative stars I would. So please get your popcorn because it is really detailed of my bad experience two weeks before thanksgiving and I am taking time out of life to make this review so people know not to give it service because they will screw u over especially if you are a female. I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla, it was making noise everytime I started the car and my friend wanted to help me because I use the car for instacart. So he suggested I take it to speedee instead of Toyota because it will be a quick check up and because I was visiting town because I live in Stockton. Worst mistake. It started off sketchy. We told the mechanic the problem they said it might be the belt I said ok change the belt. My friend wanted me to also include the oil change and man am I glad I said there is no need because I recently did it. I'm glad I stopped it because idk what else they would mess up and blame anybody but take ownership of the mistake. But the mechanic was present when having that discussion so he was already plotting on taking advantage because I was not wanting to waste money but my friend was wanting to help. So the "service" was done. And I drove home fine. The following morning I started the car and the noise was worse than how it started and I wanted to go back to speedee but my friend didn't wanted to because he said "they fixed the belt so why go back if it is fixed we should go to Toyota this time to make sure we find out if it is a major issue." We go to Toyota. They replaced the belt and was told the belt was placed loosely but also when adjusted the noise went away but it was still placed loosely cause the belt to become frayed. So I went back to speedee requesting a refund since the service they provide was not done correctly with the correct equipment. I thought I was going to be an easy resolution I brought the receipts and the statement the mechanic had done from Toyota. It wasn't enough for speedee they said to wait for the owner to make the decision and they asked about the belt. That if theirs no belt, I should of brought it cuz it has warranty. And they kept asking why I didn't return back. Just gaslighting to the max trying to say it is my own fault for not doing what is in their rule book of steps. I came with the belt when the owner was present. The owner was worse I can see why everyone that works beneath him is immature and stupid. Cuz he hires ppl with less knowledge cuz he can't handle ppl with knowledge cuz he likes having immature pissing contests. Figuratively speaking. So yes he kept stating they did the job to look at the cameras. And I wasn't arguing they did the job I was arguing the job was incorrectly done with the wrong product to the car. He took the belt and took copies of the statements and told me corporate will have to reach back with the finale say. To come back the following week. We were going to state they stole the belt because if they didn't give the money back for at least then it would be stealing. The finale showdown came i came with my friend because it was his card being used and they called stated only the belt will be refunded. We came and my friend wanted to discuss why service wasn't refunded since they did not do the service correctly. The man stated the noise stopped when I took it back so they fixed it in their end. And that corporate states it is the correct belt to use for that model......this statement cracks me up how much he stated it to be true.... I didn't know ppl in corporate have a degree on mechanics. I thought they were all business ppl. They would know more than a Toyota mechanic. And then he tried to point the finger to Toyota fault stating "oh Toyota and Honda services do that because we don't use the brand they use that why they say it is frayed but I don't see it being frayed" so I think Honda cars had also this issue in the past with this place. And the ending to this story is I was able to get 60 from the belt but not the refund for the service. So if any service is needed for any Toyota or Honda stay away. They will blame them instead of their own mistake. read more

The average oil change in my lane was 35 mins. Most oil changers take 10 to.15 mins per car. Been sitting here for almost 2 hours now being third in line. Terrible. I do not recommend at all. Id pick zero stars if possible. read more

I have used this place a few times and for the most part their service is good, but this is where I have a problem. For what ever reason every time they change my trucks oil, they forget to clean up the oil that drips in the pan, so when I get home it drips all over my driveway. This is extremely frustrating since it has happen more than once and if I don't remind the technicians they almost always forget to do it. I can't keep going to a place that routinely does subpar service. I don't understand why they don't clean the spilled oil from the pan. I just don't get it. I brought My truck here to be service as it had issues with the AC unit. As the title suggested The service was very quick. They were able to pinpoint some other issues with my truck as well. They brought me into their shop and show me that my radiator had rust in the fluid. They asked me if my truck has been sitting for long and I told them yes. He said when vehicle sit for too long without being driven, the AC could go out. He also said the rust is a sign that it has been sitting for a long time. He asked if it was okay if he did a radiator flush as well. I agreed to the service and they were done within a couple of hours. Ever since then my truck has been running great and the AC has no issues. I will definitely be using SpeeDee oil change again. read more

I've always had quick reliable service maybe the longest wait was 30 mins for an oil change, but I came late afternoon and there was a line of cars waiting for oil changes. When I had the tune up, there was a part I needed. They didn't have it in stock so they called around and it was at the shop the next day. 5/12/2021- oil change and it was done in 10 min. Quality. My car sounds terrible after getting my brakes done. I called and let them know what was going on. They told me to bring it in. I went. They told me they couldn't help me because they were too busy. Asked me if I can come in the morning on Friday so I took the day off and went on Friday then they told me they couldn't help me. I had to do it by appointment, so I'm make an appointment and they told me my brakes are fine. They sound like shit. Paid just a little under $600 for that service my breaks sound worse then ever. The manager offered me a chicken sandwich coupon I swear to God the most unbelievable ever. I took my car to two other shops to see what was going on and they told me your brakes are fine. My car didn't pass smog and the mechanic told me they could order the part and fix it so it would pass smog. I was charged $200 and months later still no part. I finally took it to the dealer and it didn't even need the part that I never got. These guys are a rip off and I am out the $200, which they said take them to small claims court. Fair warning to save someone some money if you are taking your car in for a smog and have recently changed a battery or such ask them to check codes first. Changing battery wipes them and requires you to drive 200 miles to reset. If codes cleared you will fail and still pay and have to pay half price to retest. They said by law they can not ask these questions of you to keep you from wasting money. read more

Howeverrrrrrr I noticed my car smelling like burnt oil a few days later, then started noticing little drips in my driveway. I needed to go to the dealership for a recall service and while there they asked me about the leak. I was livid, what leak?! Turns out the wasn't screwed in tight enough and of course it leaked. I brought my 2000 Ford Excursion in for an oil change and smog test on 6 July 2022. Just before that date, I had to clean the terminal and jump start the car, as it had been setting for 2 months, not driven. When this occurred, the car computer monitors went dead, so I ended up driving 600 miles to get the comuter talking to the monitors. This was a learning experience for me. and the Speedee guys (Daryn, Boris, Doug and one other) were very helpful and suportive as I returned 4 times to check the monitor/computer connection status. On 11 July 2022 the car finally passed the smog test. I've been going to this Speedee Tracy CA) for over 20 years, and this is the typical great service I have always received. Finally I found a place in Tracy where I can get a Freon recharge at a reasonable place. Brought my 2015 Mazda 6 in for a Freon charge and they only charged me $108 (and some change), where other places where quoting me $150-$180. And they also added a special die to check for any air conditioner leaks at no extra cost. Great service. They were done in about an hour. read more
