Went to the shop as soon as they open on a Saturday and my car was the first to be serviced. Smog check was done in 20 minutes and I was out the door. My car passed the test too so it was a good day. Wow! I see why this place is highly rated and highly recommended. Service was quick for me. I came in on a Tuesday around 2 pm and I was up next after a car they were finishing up. I'm sure waiting times vary throughout a workday. And maybe I just got lucky. But, I know one thing for sure... a midday weekday is better than on a Saturday, 5 cars deep, waiting an hour and a half. Only 1 person working. If someone came in he had to stop what he was doing to come inside to assist the new customer, causing a longer wait since no work is getting done on the car. The guy working was friendly and helpful. He seemed like he enjoyed his job. Besides only 1 person working the entire operation, the service was good, and I would return. All Pro Smog is a business based on family and legacy. The Khan family has been in the automotive business for over 40 years. Owner Jamal Khan opened his first location in Tracy which later lead to him expanding throughout the central valley opening two more locations in Manteca and Stockton. Jamal and his experienced staff have worked tirelessly to better serve the Tracy community and keep drivers happy and confident in their business. With a firm knowledge of the smog industry, a sense for good business practice, and a love for the community he grew up in, Jamal continues to grow the company by investing in quality service and upholding the same high standards that All Pro has been known for since its inception. Jamal possesses a comprehensive knowledge base on a variety of diagnostic and emission-based repairs, and is also an ASE certified tech as well as an advanced emissions specialist. I have never written any reviews for any business but today I decided to write one about ALL PRO SMOG. The front office was attended by Ms.Lei today and it is because of her that I am writing this note. As I was waiting in the front office for the job to be completed I saw a sign put up on the wall that said if you are not satisfied with the service provided then please call...... After my car was done and I went to make the payment I told Ms.Lei at the front desk that they must have a sign that says that if you are satisfied with the service the you may call this telephone number .... but why is it that they do NOT have a sign which says that if customers are satisfied with the service provided they may call this number..... That got her thinking... Ms. Lei is very very professional, courteous and very polite , the way she greets customers, and attendeds to them is something that one does not see much these days.... Upon arrival I was greeted by Gonzalo and let know about a waiting time since there was 5 people there ahead but I stayed and they were quick getting everyone going. NARRATIVE: Arriving, I saw I was the only customer. After speaking with the technician for a few moments and after filling out a few forms, the technician took my car right into their center and began the work. The smog check took less than 15 minutes and the cost was below what I thought it would be. Nice and easy morning. SCENE: Smog Star Express is located at the end of Mars Court in the city of Tracy. They have plenty of signs directing you to their location around the back side of the last building. RECOMMENDATION(S): I'll be returning when my other vehicles are in need of smog checks in the future.
