I got quoted over the phone 38$. 29.99$ for smog and 18$ for certification. I walked in and saw the prices on the wall for 8$ certificate and 66$ for smog for small vehicle. I knew something was fishy. I walked our and saw they messed over other people on yelp. I'm glad I trusted my instincts. read more

Great shop! I had to go back about five times with my son's vehicle. It had been throwing codes, and then wouldn't clear a prerequisite check (Secondary Air System). So the shop checked the car five times before the car finally was ready to be tested. Not once did I get anything but a smile and gracious attitude from the All Pro Smog crew. Once the car was tested, I was in-and-out within 15 minutes. And their costs at more than fair. They will definitely be getting all my business (and with six cars, that's a fair amount of business)! read more

Excellent service. I have been taking my car here for years. I recently went to have my sons truck smogged.... Fail!, But the good news is the owner took the time to give me a hint of possible repairs. He was right on. $35 later and a little elbow grease and it passed with no problems. I got a smog check done at their Bayfair location and needed to come back for a re-test and went to their Tracy location. Both times I arrived first thing in the morning. At Bayfair they were pretty slow getting going and I wasnt too pleased that it was an extra charge for my minivan. At the Tracy location I arrived Friday morning at 8 am when they supposedly open. I am still sitting here at 8:45 and no one is here. All the phone numbers dont even have a message on them. Two other people arrived waited a little while and then gave up and left. We brought our truck to All Pro Smog on Fri. 10/16 and we were very pleased! They were very professional and thorough and quick! We also thought that their pricing was very reasonable. The whole process from start to finish was only about 20 minutes, and they gave us a printout as well as sent our results to the DMV for no additional charge... Poor customer service I came 1:45 PM and was told Smog Tech on lunch and If I filled up the service request I will be next in line. Was by pass once and second time the tech drove my car from parking space to the test area and pull the car back to the same parking space. I took my car in yesterday (12/26) to get smogged. I was told that my car failed due to it having 2 catalytic converters, instead of only 1. I took my car back to my mechanic this morning (12/27) and he printed out an AllData info sheet that shows my car is SUPPOSED to have 2 catalytic converters. When I returned to All Pro Smog, they admitted their error, but were extremely rude. Since it was their mistake, I thought it only proper that they retest my car before the others there this morning (since I wouldn't even be there today if they had done their job correctly yesterday). I was told that I had to wait, or come back later. Their service writer basically walked away from me and had the technician speak with me. They apparently have no manager, or owner, to whom I could report such horrible service. I don't understand how a business can stay open with such incompetence and rudeness running rampant. I will NEVER take my business here again, and recommend to anyone else that they find another smog shop. UPDATE (12/28): Umar (service writer) was able to resolve the problem the next day. I'm told the service writer who was rude to me has a history of bad customer service and would likely not be representing the business anymore. I wish Umar had been working yesterday, rather than the other kid. read more

Took my car in for a smog today and when i first got there 5 people were ahead of me so i sat down and waited. As i was waiting i and another lady noticed that they would drive the customers cars kinda crazy and like they were in a huge rush. That kinda scared both of us because our cars sit so low (not by choice its how it was made). So i asked the guy at the front if they could please be careful with my car and he just said "yeah thats fine" hahahah...ok? Right after that the next car they took in before me and the other lady one of the tech was backing a truck out of a parking spot and he backed out so fast the tires screeched on the pavement. I almost left but the lady was next and i figured i already waited for 40 minutes and if he handles her newer luxury car ok then i guess my car will be ok. I guess he finally got the memo and he drove both of our cars into the garage slowly and with care. All in all the smog test went reallyyy quick and the guy at the front kinda talked to me a little as i was cashing out and he seemed nice. I really wish they didnt scare me at first then i would have given 5 stars! read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a smog shop and I actually used to be a smog tech! First, it took ridiculously long to get my smog done, sat and waited for over two hours while the tech gingerly took his time (His name is Jordan). Then the next day I go to fill up the vehicle they smogged and the tech didn't put my locking gas cap back on... So I call, they say they have it.. drive to the shop and nobody has a clue what I'm talking about and can't find my gas cap... leave my name and they say they'll have the tech drop off my cap to my house because of they screwed up... called again today, finally they found my cap, but now they want me to drive to their shop for a THIRD time because now the tech says they can't drive it out.. On top of all this, every tech I talked to on the phone used the F bomb at least a dozen times, totally unprofessional!!! I'll never use smog pro again and neither should anyone else, unless you like being talking to like some boyz in da hood piece of trash. How this place even stays open is a mystery to me! read more

I needed to take my car to get a smog for my DMV registration. Since I was in Tracy I decided to get the smog there as I was driving I saw a sign for cheap smog with a phone number. I pulled over and called. The person on the other end was very unprofessional but I try not to be judgmental so I went anyway. When I got there the two employees were watching T.V. and two cars were waiting to be worked on. On of the employees continuously walked in and out talking on his cell phone the other answered the office phone and watched T.V. I finally got some help and when they were done the charged me $30 for a failed smog. I asked why did it fail they employee mumbled his response and walked away. I read the paper work he gave me and it said There were two catalytic converters welded together and this is a violation. I tried talked to both employees but they were not willing to assist me further. Later that week I took the same vehicle to a smog repair shop. They explain the entire situation that I didn't have two catalytic converters welded together they charged me $10 for a small piece they fixed. I went to a certified smog place and it passed with flying colors. I don't suggested you take your business to All Pro Smog because I believe they are trying to scam their customers.
