Horrible customer service. I don't know how these people are in business. Don't waste your time with them. I sent over mockups what I wanted and sent back corrections and Berto on the phone calls me and we are talking about the proofs and he goes "this is why I sent you one proof, I don't want to be on the phone doing this all day" and he was so rude about it holy cow. Like it's your freaking job. If I'm paying for multiple things I want it perfect. Also when I went to go pick up the awards they added a base to all my awards which I did not want. It was their fault for adding it. When I told the other guy that works there he was upset at me. When I clearly showed him the picture of what was shown me when I placed the order. He was waiting for Berto to come back and I asked him "if you guys can't fix the problem can we get a refund" and he goes straight to the register and says with a lot of attitude. "Ugh yeah I guess, we will just make sure to never work with you guys again" as a business owner to say that to someone is insane. I of course don't say anything back because I know what respect is. But these people do not. I will never recommend them or use these people ever again. Customer service is everything and this is something they do not have. read more

I went in here to get my watch engraved. The watch was a gift from the parents of a baby that I baptized... so it had some sentimental value. I sat with the gentleman at the front and mapped out how I wanted the words engraved. Upon pick up, they didn't engrave it properly--- its backwards. I spoke with the owner? Kevin and he assured me he would make it right--- 3 months later and he isn't returning my calls and has not "made it right". Zero confidence to use this place again. They follow the guidelines for the engraving exactly - their prices are very reasonable and they are extremely courteous. This place rocks! For Valentine's Day, I bought my boyfriend a lightsaber and wanted to engrave a personalized message on it. After calling EVERY store in San Francisco that came up under Yelp's "engraving" category, I quickly learned that most engravers can only engrave onto a flat surface and could not work on rounded surfaces. I was bummed. The lightsaber was custom built and I put a lot of work/thought/care into researching and selecting features. I wanted him to know this item was special and not just a toy picked up at the store. The engraving would have been just the extra touch I needed to make the lightsaber special. So, I started contacting places outside of San Francisco and, since I planned to go to Sacramento to visit family, decided to check all of Sacramento's engraving stores too. After speaking to someone at another store who made the terrible suggestion to engrave a plastic name tag and stick the name tag to the light saber hilt, I called All-Safe Engravers. I'm glad I did. When the gentleman who answered the phone told me he could engrave the hilt, I didn't believe him at first! After so many no's, I just couldn't believe I was hearing a yes! So, I quickly drove in and they assisted me with choosing the right script, size, style and placement. And I couldn't be happier with the results! Oh! I took a couple of specialty dog-tag type necklaces in to them to get inscribed with a French saying. They were easily able to set a good font and include all the grammatical markings for the French. Got a couple of last minute plaques for basketball team. Ordered Thursday at 11:00 am, picked up Friday at noon, no extra charge. I was able to order over the phone and the finished product was great. It was about $15 for a 5x7 plaque, including 50 letters of engraving. Almost every place I called downtown charged per letter.
