The gate on the other side was functional, but in serious need of a cosmetic upgrade that complemented our new garage door and gate columns. Many of the contractors we reached out to were unwilling to accommodate our design requirements. We really wanted wood-looking vinyl gates with an arched top to complement the rest of the house. Pro-Vinyl Fencing was the only contractor in the Thousand Oaks area willing to bring our vision to life. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable and actually beat out several other estimates we received. David was our primary point of contact throughout the design process. He was extremely patient and went out of his way to accommodate all of our specific choices. The main reason we are taking off a star comes down to installation day. The installer (who was separate from David) installed the drop rod on the wrong side of the gate, requiring a second visit to correct it. We also suspect the installer contributed to a few scratches on the gates during the job.
