I can't remember which sheet my team played on since there's two ice sheets here, but part of me wants to say it was the blue rink? There was pretty limited seating inside the rink we were on. There were a few hightop tables near our teams' locker room, and the rest of the seating looked like rollaway bleachers. I can't speak to the quality of the glass for shooting here, but the rink was pretty dark compared to others I've been in, so my photos on the bench came out darker than anticipated. The lighting was also warmer than expected. I do have to say that while hockey is a chippy sport, some of the fan behavior from the home fans was concerning, despite how loud some of our teams' fans may have been. Nothing to dig on the rink but just something to keep in mind! I do like that this rink had a well sized pro shop available. It came in handy for a few of our players. One final thing I want to note is that the restrooms are not located in the central lobby or in both rinks. They're located only in one of the rinks, so if you were on the rink we were, you had to leave the game and go to the other rink to get it. The women's restroom wasn't super accessible either. There's an incline as you go in, and the walkway between the stalls and the wall was slim. read more

Note: This review is for pubic/open skate. All Seasons Ice Rink gets the job done. It isn't glitz and glamor but the skates are sharp, the ice is cold, and the staff is cordial. We had a quick visit during their open skate hours and found everything to be as one would expect. While not the most impressive facility we found the entire experience, from skate rental to skate return, to be pleasant and fun. The one item that didn't make much sense to me, however, was their lack of skating aid for kids. Now look, I'm no expert on ice skating but it seems like a nice to have. When we inquired they said they didn't have them because it was an "insurance risk" (which to me seems like a blanket non-answer...). It just seems odd that every other rink I've been to has them but at this one it's too risky... That said, we had a good time and I have nothing else to either point out nor write home about. With many rinks reducing/eliminating their open skate hours this is a good option if you're in the area. read more

Amateur hour. I went to their website, looked up stick and puck times and they make you click register and you can barely see that there are no available slots. I asked that they update their site to make it more user friendly because they said they don't have any stick and puck anymore and I said ok, can you disable the registration button. Yes I was annoyed so my intial email was irritated that their website is so hideous but they came back with very unprofessional emails, total amateur hour. Do not go here, just go somewhere else, these people are literally aholes. There are many rinks that act like adults and are much better, just don't waste your time here. Oh also, they don't want you skating backwards in public open skate. Are you frigging kidding me? How do kids learn how to skate! Again amateur hour here. Just dumb. The staff is terrible and disrespectful in front of the children. We came here for over a year for public skating and lessons for both of my kids. We don't have high expectations but finally decided to take our business somewhere else. As I was trying to purchase tickets for public skating, we got yelled at and kicked out by a staff member with absolutely no reason!!! (...or made up reason) My kids were shocked. When I was trying to figure out what the problem was, I didn't get any answer just disrespectful comments in front of others and my kids. She yelled repeatedly "get your kids off the ice" (they weren't even on the ice yet) and "I can't get you out of here fast enough" and so on. I understand that everyone can have a bad day but it's unacceptable in the present of children, especially a place that mainly focuses in youth sport education. We wrote an email to the management but so far no response yet. If you still want to take a chance with this place (not recommended!!!), just be aware of the "lady" in the picture. She is very impulsive and can be unprofessionally to say the least (!!!) (again) in front of the kids. One recommendation to this women - If you're not fit for customer service go and find a burger flipping job somewhere so you don't have to interact with people. Stay away from this place!! The management group is a joke. On Saturday 2/25/23, when I was requesting a Friend Pass at the front desk, the girl, who I googled was the front counter manager, cut into my conversation with others and yelled at me saying she's already told me about the pass - yes, she spoke with me earlier and I was requesting the pass per the information she gave me. I was so confused why she's upset and have to yell because I was doing something I was told. Then, a tall guy, who I later found out on the internet was the "Director" of the skating school, stepped in and told me they "misspoke earlier" about the pass, which at this point I was totally fine if I couldn't request pass. But as a customer who got yelled at in the public for acting upon on the wrong information that gave to me, I believed I was not at fault at all and shouldn't be treated this disrespectful, so I told the director I want to file a customer compliant. The director refused to give me the girl's name, but all the suddenly the girl rushed out of the counter and yelled "I quit". Nor the Director didn't try to de-escalate the situation but immediately accused me, in the public loudly, "You just made me lost my best employee". EXCUSE ME?!!! Did I tell her to quit her job? Did I throw a temper at her? I wasn't even talking to her and she's the one cut into my conversation. Also, to this so called "Director" - you were being rude and unfair to other employees at the rink. We have been with the rink for a year and everyone we interacted with till this point were friendly and caring, we really enjoying coming to skate, but if someone who threw temper at customer, yelling, decided to quit in the public was consider your "best" employee, I really feel sorry for the others that work with you. Something more interesting (or even ridiculous), after I told the director I insist to file a formal customer compliant, he gave me a card and told me to call the "assistant manager", who not only never picked up, but I later found out online is "related to" the front counter manager I am going to file complaint on. You were highly disrespectful to the staff a specially Vearle and Nikki. They spoke very respectfully to you the whole time while asking you to please keep your tone in control as there were children all around you. You were irate yelling and hitting on the desk and Plexiglas. Parents were saying please calm down and you just got louder. Nikki was doing her job as she had all ready spoken to you about the pass and you decided to come and talk to another worker to get your way. You were out of line and when you demanded her information Vearle gave you her name and the card when you demanded the owners info. You should be ashamed a 50 some year old woman bulling a young lady that was just doing her job so much that she walked out saying she quit and had to be consoled by others outside. And for you to come online making up lies and insulting them is a shame. I pray you go seek help. All seasons rink and there employees are the kindest I have come across. Always willing to help and explain things. My kids love going to the rink each week and are met with smiles and hugs form the staff. This is the home rink so I am biased....Chris Chelios runs an EXCEPTIONAL youth hockey program. He is so friendly and helpful, and goes out of his to make sure all the kids feel part of the family and that they have fun and enjoy themselves. As for the facilities, the ice is (almost) always very good, locker rooms clean, and they just updated the bathrooms and eliminated the stink!! They are NOT so friendly at the desk, and it's like you are KILLING them to get some help, but I like it. The attached pro shop, B&R Sports, is great. Ask any question and get friendly help, always go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I really like that they employ younger kids who are hockey players. read more

My daughter scheduled an appointment with them and had to cancel because I have Covid and they won't refund our money or let her reschedule at a later date. They claim that there's nothing they can do about it and they haven't issued refunds to anyone in a while. Who does that?! So they just took my money! I tried going for open skate. Time is 11:30 to 1pm. I called at 11:04. She said it was cancelled for the day because nobody registered and it was too late to come. 11:30 is began. It is 11:20 and online you can't even register either. So the ice and her just sit there for an hour and 30 minutes? So unfair. I was really looking forward to skating today. I came here with my girlfriend on a trip to Geneva, Illinois. We had a good time here and did a lot of skating. One thing that bothered me was that you could not skate backwards on this rink. I feel that there wording was a bit misleading because some signs said you cannot skate backwards and some other signs did not mention this. All in all it was a good time had by all, but if you want to escape backwards I would not recommend this place. read more

If you want the fanciest looking rink in Chicago-land, move along. But if you are looking for great hockey coaches that will take good care of your kid, this is the place to be! I was a little skeptical when we started and I saw how young some of the guys were that had the beginning class but they did a excellent job keeping the little ones on task and helping them through the drills. They are completely focused on making this a positive experience for the kids. Chris is always zipping around but takes time to greet the kids with a big smile and encourage them as he is managing the program. read more

My two sons, 10 and 7, are here for a birthday party. Unfortunately for them they don't ice skate and this ice rink doesn't have anything for new skaters to fell comfortable on the ice. There was a man helping the first half an hour that let the kids use cones to help keep balance but when he left the manager took the cones away and said they couldn't use them. My 7 year old had already fallen, as you do, and was really afraid of hurting himself so he stopped skating. I gave the facility 3 stars because it was clean and the kids who knew how to skate looked like they were having fun. However, if you planning a party don't invite kids who don't know how to skate since they won't have as much fun. If I was you, I would find a rink that has the tools to make the party fun for everyone. read more

When this figure skater moved to Oswego for the summer, I was faced with the challenge of finding a decent ice rink! After trying several others in the area, I deciding to call All Seasons my home rink for the summer! They have two rinks, both appear to be NHL size. There's the Red Rink, where freestyle and lessons are typically held. On the opposing side, there's the Blue Rink, where public and hockey practice are held. I find the ice to be preferable on the red...but that could be just me. All in all, ice is well-maintained. In between the lobby and Red Rink, there's a warming room with plenty of maybe-too-comfy chairs! The establishment is kept extra clean by a lovely woman whose name I don't know, but she's always working hard keeping clean and with a big smile! I adore her! This establishment is super hockey and figure skater friendly, which is a lovely balance! All of the other skaters are respectful, and bad apples are quickly taken care of. Management is amazing! Coaches offer group and private lessons in everything from ice dance to hockey. I take private lessons from Justin, and he is amazing! I highly recommend him; with just a few lessons, plenty of technical issues in my skating were taken care of - and he's super sweet and patient (if you're lucky, you'll catch him at the front desk!) From spending lots of time in freestyle, all the other coaches seem fabulous as well. Thank you for being amazing All Seasons :) read more

If its a rink in the Chicagoland area, its likely my kids have had a game there! This rink has been around so long, I skated in mens leagues games here 20-25 yrs ago. Nowadays, they have 2rinks here. Sabres have some of their hockey games here. They have the largest youth hockey program in Chicagoland. They also skate @ Rocket Ice in Bolingbrook & occasionally at 7 bridges. Despite its old appearance the ice is ok, though the Red sheet seems to play better. Decent pro shop , the folks there know their stuff, are decently stocked and prices are competitive. Parking can get tight,( show me a rink where it isnt?) snack bar so-so, they do have some comfy couches in waiting area w/ TVs. All in all they are a decent facility. Chelli teaches out of here & is a good guy and a knowledgeable, forthright coach. Women have told me that these rinks here are unusually cold, so plan for that if thats an issue. You could do worse than this rink , a lot worse. Close to highway, about 5 min or so. read more

I signed my two sons up for ice skating lessons today. When I went to the front counter I was met with attitude. Seriously! I was there to register for a class and the three women at the counter treated me as if I were bugging them! I found the staff to be rude and incompetent. Every time I asked a question I felt like I was given a dirty look. When I showed up for my kids first lesson. Again I was met with rude staff members. Both my sons wanted to wear Hockey Skates, we were scolded by a staff member and told... (in front of my kids) that if I put them in hockey skates... they will hate ice skating, they will fall constantly and they will have a miserable time and will want to quit... and by the way there are no refunds. Ultimately my kids ended up in figures skates because they were terrified!!!! They had a miserable time. Their dream of learning to "hockey skate" crushed. On a more positive note... The instructors were pleasant, and friendly and my kids liked them. Will we go back? Yes probably, grudgingly... I spent over three hundred dollars and like the lady said there are no refunds.... I hope next week will be better... I'm not optimistic! read more

Do not bring your kids here unless they are ready to play for the Blackhawks. They won't let you use the skate trainers during open skate, there were two other people on the ice. I used to figure skate competitively growing up in Wisconsin and had been wanting to get back into the sport desperately now that I'm out of college and have "a real job" where I can afford it. I'm no stranger to rinks and/or rink management but this place rubs me the wrong way. The freestyle ice calendar on their website is incomplete and when I walked in to speak with staff about this issue and ask for a physical copy of the schedule, I was met with attitude. I finally was given a copy of the schedule but my first impression of the staff was 5 people standing behind the counter being mostly useless. The schedule indicates that they have Saturday morning ice from 6:50-8:30. I arrived at 6:30 and then walked around the entire facility searching for a manager for 20 minutes and was ultimately told that the person who takes money for the session does not start until 7, but you are required to pay before you take the ice! Seriously!? But again, this rink is 5 minutes from my house so I didn't want to write it off. So I went in tonight after work as their ice schedule indicates that ice is avilable until 6:10 PM Monday-Friday evenings. I arrived at 4:30 on a Friday and was told that ice actually ended at 5! C'mon guys, get it together! On top of their inability to stick to the ice schedule that they've created and distributed, the staff does not appear to have any training. Even the simplest questions are met with blank stares. Questions that the high school kids behind the counter should be able to answer without asking a manager. And even that wouldn't be an issue if management were anywhere to be found. On the positive side, the facility is clean and does feature 2 well maintained National size rinks. The ice itself is actually very nice and the temperature inside each rink is comfortable. The rates they charge strike me as very reasonable as well. All in all, I'll probably continue to tolerate the frustration to some degree just because of how conveniently located the facility is. Fox Valley Ice Arena isn't too far from my home but its far enough that I haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet. read more

All Seasons hosted a charity event for us last week. The rink was set and ready, they were prepared with a locker room for us, and they had no problem with the few extras we wanted... a table set up, show us how to use the scoreboard and music... they even accommodated the last minute arrival of the Blackhawk Ice Girls - who did not want to get ready in the same locker room as the boys who were skating. To top it off, when my husband lost his Drivers License on their site, they located it and mailed it back to us. While I cannot attest to their instruction or freestyle calendar like other reviewers, I can attest to their professionalism, efficiency and friendliness! read more

My kids recently took classes here (didn't renew since the drive was too far), super happy with the experience. My son was very unenthused and intimidated by the ice. The director, Vicki, goes above and beyond! She makes extra 1-on-1 effort to make kids feel more comfortable and is just a great instructor and caring person. My kids have been to both Rocket and Canlan Arena, and I must say that the staff at All Seasons was the best. My kids definitely learned the most from them. read more

My daughter has been skating at All Seasons for a year. The coaches we have had contact with are friendly and dedicated...her coach Denise is fantastic. The staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly also. The skaters watch out for each other on the ice too and the older more experienced skaters always seem conscious of the younger ones and even when practicing their program when they have the right of way they still are careful. I appreciate that since at the other rink my daughter skates at that courtesy is not so prevalent anymore with some of the new skaters. read more

I play hockey here on Thursday nights. All in all it's a pretty good ice rink. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, ample locker rooms and 2 sheets of good ice. They offer a pretty good hockey teaching and game session on Thursdays nights which has been great to be part of. read more

My daughter has been skating there for years, and doing very well. The staff does enforce the safety rules, but I'm glad they want to keep the skaters and those not skating safe. We started at their skate school many years ago. We skated at several other rinks as we advanced through several levels of coaches. We were very happy to be back at All Seasons. They have a good mix of freestyle time, skate school, hockey, and off ice classes available. The staff are busy, but always take care of us, and have bent over backwards for us when we needed ice time before tests and competitions. If I could rate them zero stars I would. My daughter started figure skating lessons here on Saturdays. The head of the figure skating department... "Dona B"... is quite possibly the rudest, nastiest woman I have ever met. She's mean to the kids if they get upset and even meaner to the parents. God forbid your son come out there in hockey skates.. her and her daughter (Nikki?) have an obvious disdain for hockey players and make no attempts to hide it. I have no idea why anyone would let her work with children. She clearly has skating skills.....people skills...not a drop. The other kids who work with her are very good... but she is to present and ruined the experience for my daughter.... With so many other nice, clean rinks close by.. go elsewhere... Fox Valley is a very nice rink with great staff. read more

The female manager of this facility (blonde hair) is a person with extremely low self esteem, and is probably the last person on the earth who should be in a managerial position. My kid goes to skating classes here, and I noticed during today's class that the teachers were not paying appropriate attention to the kids. When I went up to talk with manager, I got such cold reception and rude behavior, I began wondering if I was at fault for some reason. Do not go to this place; I know my kid wont. read more

This rink is horrible. The staff is rude, the equipment is all broken (clocks, WiFI, etc). The furniture looks like it is holding a plethora of diseases. The only good thing is the learn to play hockey program by Chris Chelios, but the rink management makes that experience barely worth the expertise on the ice. read more

We went to Public Skate with our two daughters and their friend. First, they do not allow the "walkers" that new skaters push / hold onto during their Public Skate, like many other rinks do. So right from the start we were having a lot of trouble with our 3 brand new skaters. But the big issue was that the website indicated that Public Skate would be running for two hours, so we thought we had plenty of time. However, 15 minutes after we were on the ice, we were told Public Skate was ending because someone had paid to "by-out" the remaining time. We had three very disappointed kiddos! I (along with all the other parents) went to complain at the desk, but the young lady working basically shrugged her shoulders and said she wasn't aware that the website was wrong. I find it very frustrating that either A. they let someone buy the rink out after Public Skate had started, OR B. They didn't bother telling anyone when they got there that Public Skate was not going to last until the original posted time. Then when I tried to follow up with a manager about getting a refund, there was never any response. Very poor customer service. read more

This rink is good and has improved over time. Kids tell me the ice is good and well maintained- so that's #1 for its purposes. I like it because they stay in business. (A tough business to stay solvent in). Locker rooms have improved a lot, as have common areas. It has a full-suited proton (B&R). The primary downsides people perceive are- water (well water, almost undrinkable), occassional surliness in the staff (improving), the stands and the game clocks. read more

Love, love, love the new skating school manager. She is friendly, intelligent, and I am extremely impressed with her qualifications. Not sure what her name is but she is a tall brunette and easy to spot. She has made if fun for my daughter to skate at this rink again. The facility has always been nice. It is clean and updated. Not the fanciest rink around but well taken care of. The staff has been a problem in the past but it looks like they are taking positive steps to improve that as well. They do a great job with the competitions they host and we love the availability of the freestyle ice on the weekends! My daughter is a competitive figure skater who has been skating for 10 years. Needless to say we've been in a lot of rinks over the years. We recently made All Seasons our home rink. The building itself has undergone lots of renovations in the last years but more importantly the ice is extremely well maintained. Great programs for both hockey and figure skating, including a PSA Master rated figure skating coach. I can't say enough about the management and employees of our new home rink. read more
