I love it here and I'm SO happy I chose to bring my kids here! If you are looking for a fantastic facility for your kids to learn gymnastics, TRY THIS PLACE. Also the staff is SO friendly and helpful. I ask anything at any time and I receive perfect explanations. Advice, classes fill up quickly, so sign up even online to beat the rush.

I am really satisfied with Premier West. I see that some people think the coaches are hard on the kids, but I don't really see that. I think they could push my daughter a little more. She was often getting bored not being pushed to challenge herself or learn something new. I am glad to say that the coaches did notice this as well and pushed her up into the next class level before I was able to bring it up to them. She is much happier in her new class level and is being challenged to meet new goals. They are also very nice to the girls. My daughter loves her coach and is excited to see her every week. The gym is busy with people. So that must show that they are doing something right. Premier offers many class options and they have reasonable sized classes. The classes are not too large where kids get over looked. We searched the local area for other options before picking Premier and for the price, this is the best place by far. They allow you to make up classes if you miss, many other places don't do that. So your child can take a break if needed and not fall behind, plus you never really feel like your money is wasted when you miss a class.

Busy. Chaotic. Space challenged. You decide…read more Though there is a small window of time between when some classes end and the next set of classes begin, there aren't nearly enough seats for the number of parents, particularly pre-K, and occasional extra guests from one hour to the next. Add in strollers and/or car seats and you lose even more space. I recall seeing emails about renovations underway, and the now larger desk/counter space further eats into the already limited space. Nice floors though ::shrug:: One of the emergency exits is usually blocked by the older kids backpacks. God forbid there is an emergency and all exits need to be used. I thought for sure the renovations would have included storage such as rows of heavy duty hooks to keep those bags and coats off the floor. Negative. From one week to the next, the kids are supposed to do different activities but on more than one occasion have I questioned what I'm paying for. Bounce on the trampoline. Jump into the foam pit. Climb the rope. Attempt a headstand. Tuck and roll. Follow a flip/walk/crawl sequence. Making good use of and/or further developing gross motor skills.Awesome! Some coaches do a great job of taking control of their group and keeping them engaged. Others look like they are having a difficult time coming up with activities to fill the time slot. And with smaller children, you have to keep it interesting, and sometimes the coaches don't recognize when they need to pivot. If you have a young person who is interested in competitive gymnastics, I'm sure this is the go-to place. I give it two stars because my children are occupied for ~45 minutes, enjoy their coaches, and the post-class snack selection includes more than candy and chips. Mmmm pickles!

We were at Flipstar today for open gym (01/17/22). I was under the impression from families I've…read morespoken to is that the facility children can exercise without a mask on. There was a male employee that was walking around telling the children to put their masks on. I am a bit upset, as he went up to my 5 year old and told her to put her mask on. Shes only 5, and she broke down in tears. I dont understand this new concept, of making children feel bad for wanting to exercise without a mask and making them feel like they are doing "something bad." They are not!! He should have approached me, not my child as it is my choice when my child should be maskless or not. I pointed out to that same employee, that he allowed a female to talk to him MASKLESS for several minutes and did not bother to tell her to put her mask on. She couldnt exert the energy to speak over the mask. For our small children who are exercising heavily, however, he did enforce the mask rule. This kind of "favoring" system is interesting, as you cant talk with a mask on, but you have to exercise vigorously with it on. Another note, was that children clearly had their masks under their chins, which defeats this stupid rule anyways and good for those kids for exercising and breathing normally! I truly hope your facility will start to let children be free and not force them to exercise with a mask on. Will not be returning to your facility.
