There's a very good chance that you will sit at home waiting for a repair technician that will not show up, or your time "window" will be changed without notice. When I contacted them for a warranty repair, they offered an 8AM-12PM window which was changed to an afternoon appointment without notice, TWICE. It is now their policy that only an 8AM-5PM window will be offered. When I asked Ashley Roldos, the supervisor, what is someone to do when they have to work? Her reply, "you have to make arrangements on your own." This would mean either lost wages or paying someone to wait at your home for you. I have a warranty Insurance and you have to be very careful who they send. Because they are not always the best. GAME CHANGER: Glass stove top element went out after 10 years, and my microwave light together with my garage refrigerator had a leak. I called the warranty company and they sent Allset. First, the office staff is just amazing. They were courteous with tremendous follow up. Master Technician, Franklin, was an amazing provider he spent time diagnosing all of the appliances and ordered parts. He was always on time, had shoe covers and worked diligently to resolve the problems. He ordered part that were delivered to my house and was available immediately for the installation. Franklin arrived early and got right to work on our stove. He made sure the correct parts had arrived and then installed the parts in the stove. He also had me go through the touch buttons to make sure they are working. All set was selected by our protection insurance to service our washing machine. The washing machine was fully functional, but had a worn part that made the machine operation louder than when purchased. the technician was kind and respectful. He was on time and worked hard. However, he did not check to see if the washer was working after her performed the repair. It was a Friday evening-mistakes happen. When we tried to use the washing machine it was no longer functioning. It went from working fine with a slight noise, to not working. This was frustrating, especially since my large family could not wash clothes on the weekend, but sometimes things happen. This is the frustrating part. On Monday morning I called All Set and was the second caller in the queue, with an expected wait time of 4 minutes. It ended up being 42 minutes. When I reached the operator I then tried to explain the situation. Without listening to the issue, her response was that I needed to file a new warranty repair. I tried to explain that something was done by the technician that caused the machine to stop working. I completely understand that all companies are in business to make money. However if your company makes a mistake (it happens), you try to correct it. I did call the warranty service. They selected another repair service to fix the issue caused by All Set. I will see how that goes. read more

I had called All Set because my GE dryer under contract (brand new) was making squeaking sounds. I was told that it wasn't properly grounded and that was the reason. The repair man reinstalled the feet to ground it. At that time, it wasn't sounding too bad. So now, three weeks later, not only has the squeaking sound gotten worse, but there are other sounds that were not present before. Originally, when it wasn't squeaking, it was actually a very quiet dryer. Now it is SO loud AND squeaky! read more

Replace Microwave keypad. Tech, Franklin DaLaRosa, came out , reviewed the microwave, put an order in for the parts. Parts were shipped direct to my home. When they arrived I notified the office and we set an appointment date and time. Mr. DaLaRosa arrived at the scheduled time. He put a moving pad on my kitchen island, removed the microwave from the cabinet and then removed the keypad, installed the new one , Put some mounting screws in that the previous GE Contractor had failed to do. Reinstalled the microwave, tested it , wiped it down and took a photo of it. All done very timely. Note: Prior to entering the house he put booties on. I will ask for him any time I need service. was given a 4 hour window, but the technician was 1 hour past the window given. Had to pay 29.95 to diagnose the problem on the dryer up front. They didn't carry the part needed(belt) , but would take more time to fix as part needed to be ordered. I offered to give my dryers model and serial number, but was told not necessary. The whole cost would be around $350.00. Would rather buy a replacement For that cost. Almost $400.00 for a belt? Maybe I'm wrong, just seems out of line read more

My dryer and microwave still not fixed after 5 times of coming out to my house. It's worse than what it' started Unethical company, they keep trying to come back to collect money, their are not here for the customers interest only themselves. 3 months of trying to fix my dryer and still not fixed. They have came over 5 times and every time is 2 pieces that need repair then since the pieces have to be shipped you have to wait a week, then they came back still didn't work then they have to order more pieces they did that about 5 times. And every time I had to wait for the pieces to arrive. And on top of that they will only reschedule you till the parts come in and when you do call you have to wait a week for availability. Why was all this not diagnosed on the first visit ? It was to keep collecting money for the visits. It's been 3 months my dryer is still not fixed, they came today and right after leaving I called saying is still not working and they said I had to wait more days to get another tech out there when the one that was here didn't even leave 5 min, if it's unfixable just say that. I also had them pay to repair my microwave same issue they didn't want to deal with it so they said it was because of grease and that's not true. Over all they were 1 star experience there are more companies out there that value their customers more. read more

This is the WORST repair company I have ever used during the last 50 years!!! My refrigerator was not staying cold enough on the top portion. My warranty company said I had to use them! On a scale of caring for their customers, the score is a BIG ZERO!! They do not offer an emergency service call. They set up an appointment days away and then when the repair man comes out he has to order parts which of course they do not have. Imagine that!? An appliance repair business that doesn't have any parts available?! Of course the parts take 3 to 7 days to arrive and of course I call after a week and guess what? The parts are coming In the next day. Then of course the appointment is set up Monday, after the weekend for the man to come. And because I did not defrost my freezer for 24 hours before, there was ice on the coils!! Which he doesn't have to remove!!! But he explains that he shouldn't repair the appliance but goes ahead and does it anyways. He tells me that you cannot use any type of warm air to melt the ice because it will damage the walls of the freezer! Imagine that!! I guess I will not use a BLOW TORCH in the future!! (Not) So now he puts in the new parts and puts the covers over the frozen area and tells me that I cannot use my refrigerator for another 24 hours!! Wonderful!! I have lost $$ in spoiled food and have been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks but that's my problem. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANYONE!! read more

Will never use this company again. We called 3 weeks ago to fix our washing machine, after the technician find out about the the issue, he said that he needs to order the part. The part took basically two weeks to arrives, I was schedule to have the new part installed today, and I was told that they have to reschedule because they make a mistake scheduling the technician, and the next available day will be next Thursday, which is another week of inconvenience for us. But they were very quick in charging my credit card for the part and the visit. I will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

We have a 6 month old dryer that a screw fell out of the drum. Everything else worked, even the drum worked it just made a horrible noise from being loose. A tech came out for a warranty fix. Two HUGE red flags. First his diagnostic included opening the door and looking inside. 1) he wanted our wifi password and literally took a picture of it with his phone. I had to reset all my systems- i work from home and that is a huge security risk and never should be our job to provide him with wifi. 2) Somehow our perfectly warm dryer w a missing screw ended up being a heater needing replaced and drum.... spike up that warranty work! This was a warranty job for us, anyone paying out of pocket beware. I canceled the job, I will wait another 6 weeks for someone more honest. read more

First visit, they had to order part for simple repair because they no longer stock parts. Repairman returned the next week with the part. Once it was completed, he headed out the door with barely a word and said it was fixed. I asked him if he wanted to test the washer, he declined and said he it would work fine. I asked him if he was sure, to which he again replied he did not need to test it. When I ran the washer it flooded my downstairs. Turned out he had removed the drain tube from where it was supposed to be near the water spigots, and never put it back. Tons of damage in my home, and they will not even call me back. It's been eight days and I've called multiple times, each time I hold no less than 15 minutes. Do yourself a favor and don't allow these people in your home! read more

Well to start the person that came to my home did not speak English. There was an extreme language barrier. Then he said my washer was fine but just abused. After a second person from another company came out it was determined that there was a factory defect and indeed had a major issue. Horrible Company. Sent a technician to my home at 7:30 pm, when he was supposed to show up between 2 and 5. He wasn't even sorry for being late but worst of all ended up not fixing my washer like he was supposed to because he ordered the wrong part, and breaking my dishwasher. My dishwasher was working (minor issue with some dishes on lower rack not getting as clean) and he caused a major leak while working on it so now I can't use it at all! He manually did drain mode and it drained but after you run it through full cycle it will not drain by itself unless you hit cancel button to put it in drain mode.
