I have one vehicle that is rarely driven, so it needs to be driven to pass the check. Was looking for a smog center and stumbled upon this place. They were super quick and super nice! The man was super honest and told me upfront that my car wasn't going to pass because the check engine light was on. I took my chances and did it and it failed! But he was super clear on explaining what needed to be done to repair it and apologized for not being able to do it cause his mechanic was on vacation in Mexico. He was very detailed in what needed to be done and walked me through the process. The wait area is TORE up!! BAD! But you're really not there long so I didn't mind. Awesome! Good old-fashioned quick and honest customer service. My SUV passed easily and the gentlemen running the place gave me the lowest price I could find in town. I didn't even have to ask for the discount, because he remembered me by my voice from calling earlier. Also, I heard him talk with the customers before me who weren't as fortunate. He tried to run the test twice but their car didn't pass. He explained to them what was most likely wrong causing it to fail. Omg don't judge a book by its cover. I was in a pinch and realized I needed my registration and smog taken care of asap. I saw All Star is open till 7!!! Don't expect any bells and whistles, the lobby is definitely dated but you won't be there long anyways. Abbas, who helped me couldn't have taken more than 15-20 minutes. He made sure I had the proper receipts and let me know I could even pay my registration at a nearby kiask in the next 24 hours. He also warned me when exited the main road cars go fast to be careful! This is the best place that I have ever been in my very long long life. The technician is extremely knowledgeable, caring, professional and helpful. When I took my car to be smog checked the first time, it did not pass, and it said that it needs more memory to be registered. Technician advised to drive my car for 3 days and return so he can check again. After I took it, there still did not have enough memory, so the technician told me exactly how to drive there to go and come back two days in a row and even how to turn on and off the car so it will hold the memory in the memory card. And then I went back there after doing whatever he had told me he was so nice and he said if it doesn't pass, he will take the car for a drive himself if it is too difficult for me to drive it every day, but after he checked, and the car pass the smog check, and it had enough memory, honestly, I have to say that the technician is extremely knowledgeable and informed person and very helpful and understanding. The whole experience of getting my car smog checked has been very pleasant and shockingly easy although I had to drive the car there a few times I just want to thank the technician for his wonderful job and help and understanding I would suggest the All Smog USA check to whom ever wants to have their car smog checked. All I can say is.. Faith in humanity restored. It was my second time coming to this place. (last time was a year or so ago), and I brought my registration paperwork from the DMV. When I handed him the slip, he told me I didn't need to get the smog check since it is not specified on the form. He could have easily charged me for the service anyway, because my lazy a$$ didn't read the paper. He simply smiled and said, "I wouldn't want to charge you for a service you don't need, but feel free to come back when you do." Mechanics are known for taking advantage of people more so than even car salesman. This is the first genuine mechanic I've met that is honest in Ventura County. It is a shame that so many businesses here don't try to put in an effort to give good customer service, and take advantage of the those of us that lack the knowledge in this field. I just hope anyone reading this review, only goes to him if they can treat this good man with the same respect he provides to anyone coming into his shop. I don't want to have to come back and find out that another decent place has been ruined due to entitled trash people. read more

The service took less then 15 minuets and cost only $45 for my 2012 Rav 4 to be checked, certified and the record to be sent to the DMV. If you are a procrastinator like me with getting annual car registration tasks done, then this place is great for having a smog certificate faxed to the DMV, so registration fees can be paid the next day without going in.
