All Star does a great job. Honest people, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend. Have used them on 2 cars for a couple year.

This place is a scam. My $607 bill for my brakes and rotors to be replaced turned into $971 bill due to 3 lug studs and 4 lug nuts being broken/ damage. While 1 lug stud was in fact old and already broken clearly 2 had been broken while in the shop at Allstar. Yet, they charged me almost $300 which was dropped by ~$150 bc they "took 30 mins to do the repairs rather than an hour". When I arrived to view the damage I was told that the studs broke due to erosion. As you can see by the pictures below the brake is clean and shiny, no erosion. Its not old. Its not "easy to break" and these things dont "break all the time" as I was told by Wade, THE OWNER. Nor is it threded and thats why its stuck. Clearly, the mechanic working on my car, Danny, put too much tension on the stud when taking it off and it broke. This place takes advantage of those who dont fully understand car maintenance and try to gas light you into thinking their upcharges are valid and necessary. Scare you into thinking if you wait or dont get the repairs you will damage ur vehicle more. The department of agriculture will be in contact. read more

In South Florida air conditioning can be a necessity, not a luxury, whether for your home or car. After 3 months of going without AC in one of our two cars, we decided we had to fix it, given the heat index, the heat and humidity. We considered the dealership but the car is 10 years old. Aside from being out of warranty, we figured the dealership would try to sell us a new car, which isn't happening. We bought the car new. It only has 50,000 miles on it, and this is the first major issue in 10 years. I asked someone in the auto body business, whom I've known for about 15 years, and he recommended All Star. The repair/replacement was more complicated than anticipated, going from having to remove the dashboard to replace the evaporator coil, to additional parts and labor. So, it took longer, and was more expensive than originally quoted. We also had to share the use of the other car, as we could not afford a rental, and public transportation was not an option either. However, All Star worked with us. They were always courteous and respectful. So far, the AC works fine, and Wade followed up to ask us how things went. read more

Called to schedule an oil change and tire rotation. Was shocked when two hours later the bill came to $229. Largely my fault for not asking the price up front but $106+ for a synthetic oil change was on the very high side. The deal breakers was $104+ to rotate the tires. I have no confirmations that all the fluids were checked or what else was done to justify sky high rates. I will not be returning. read more

Have used All Star for the last few years for my 1997 Porsche Cabriolet and Wade and company have been very fair and have done an excellent job. I would recommend them for your car without question! read more

After Mullinax took three day to replace an alternator and Pep Boys misdiagnosed my check engine light and kept the car for two days without doing anything, I ended up at All Star. OK, no on-line reservation and no complimentary ride service but I got my oil changed, tires rotated and my check engine light correctly, and less expensively, diagnosed. Pep Boys said I needed the intake gasket replaced, All Star replaced a hose in 20 minutes. Everyone was courteous and the car was returned clean, with no smudges outside or footprints inside. They have more work than they can handle so they must be doing something right. read more

I don't know much about car so I brought my car there for them to check the break as I felt the car shaking a little bit when applying the break. Steve gave me a very reasonable price with student discount. He was also very honestly telling me that I could wait to change the rotor and the break pad, no need to have them all replaced immediately. I really appreciate his help checking my car. Prompt, professional and courteous service! After my tire pressure monitoring system's alarm went off for the 3rd time in 2 weeks (although I had properly inflated all tires). I knew I was in need of a what I hoped to be a quick tire repair as I needed to get back to work. After visiting a couple of shops with no success as they were either "understaffed" or "backed up", I finally got to Allstar. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by Russell. He took my details and had my car in the shop in no time. They found the problem (a nail in the tire) and fixed it right away. A friendly and professional staff is what anybody can hope so as a customer and that's what I found at Allstar. The first time I choose them because they give 10% discount to AAA members and when I compared their price with Honda's service .. they were cheaper with about $500 for the same work. Since than I've used them twice and been very happy with the quick job they provide, friendly staff a reasonable prices. read more

My car over heated, and I barely made it to a gas station before it died. I called a tow truck, which towed me to Allstar Auto Service, a family-run repair shop. The repair shop was fine. They were relatively quick with my fixes. They answered all my questions and didn't keep me holed up in the tiny waiting area. They let me stand around and watch, ask any question I wanted, and they were helpful in helping me prevent the issue again (my radiator cap hadn't been tightly secured after an oil change). If you need your car repaired, this shop will get the job done well. It was costly (flushing the radiator plus labor cost a hair less than $400), but what isn't with cars? The only downside I have and why I took a star away was the tow truck driver. She played with her phone while driving, and she smoked while I was in the truck. She couldn't wait till after the 10-minute drive; she had to smoke right there. She didn't ask if I minded (I do). I felt unsafe with her driving because of the phone. read more

Love Allstar - they saved me a lot of money on a repair I was previously told could only be done at a dealership. They're honest and nice, family run. If you drop off your car when they open around 8, it'll be done by about 1. They know how to work around schedules and they do it in a polite fashion. I highly recommend them, been going there for years. read more

AAA tow truck recommended this shop after my car broke down. All Star said they could repair the car in one day and the dealer could not. As this occurred on a Friday and I did not want to be without my car for the weekend I decided to have All Star repair my car. Major mistake. In addition to the repair they ran diagnostics and all the items listed on the diagnostics started occurring the following Monday. This included damage to the rear hatch door. The main issue was the electrical system of the car. Battery light came on. All Star either did not put the car back together properly or deliberately did something to the vehicle. My car is at the dealer. An expensive lesson for me. Don't make my mistake. read more

I found All Star Auto Service when my car broke down a good distance from home, in an unfamiliar area. When I called, they answered quickly, and had me connected with a tow truck that came in well under an hour. Not long after they took the car away, I got a call with an estimate, a clear explanation of what was going on with the car, and when it would be ready. When I arrived to pick the car up, even though it was their closing time, the owner took the time to show me the new part and some other things on the car that would need attention in the future (severely rusted parts, leaks). No pressure, just an "FYI." Although they needed to spend extra time working to remove the bad parts due to the amount of rust under the car, they still honored the original estimate. And even though she was busy finishing up the day so they could close, the woman in the office noticed I'd forgotten a bag in the waiting area and ran out to get me before I drove off. I made the drive back home with no issues. I'm a little sad that they're so far from me, because I would love to make them "my" garage! I could not have asked for a better experience. read more
