Hire these guys! I was moving in to a place that needed carpet stretching and cleaning and most places only do one or the other. I was looking for a company that could do both which was harder than I thought. Upon recommendation from a real estate agent, I reached out to this company and Rick said they could handle both for a reasonable price. They did an amazing job! The only issue we had was with scheduling. There was some confusion as to the scheduling of these 2 services and they were late arriving to do both the stretching one day and the cleaning the next day BUT they stayed late into the evening for both services and did a very thorough job. I am very happy with the service they provided! I also appreciated how quick and communicative Rick was via text message. First impressions are everything. I reached out for a quote and received one, but since I had already booked a different service, I thought I would let him know so he wouldn't be left hanging. I said "thank you very much for the quote", but essentially I had someone contact me sooner at a lower price,so I booked with them. Rick's response? Pros: Easy to schedule, came on time, professional. Cons: Our carpet was in pretty good shape with only a few stains (just from basic traffic, not any spills). Despite All Star being confident that they were gone, they appeared again after a couple of days. Do not hire - DO NOT TRUST. After Rick and Frank cleaned the carpet, a valuable item ($150 drill) was missing. I know for a fact it was taken because I was doing work in that room, using the drill just before their arrival. I was a female, home alone, they saw me as an easy target. Rick and his assistant are great! They are very prompt and can really clean some carpet. I've used All-Star 4 times and they have yet to disappoint. I have a three year old that gets into makeup and anything else she can reach so my carpet gets messy really fast. This company has been able to remove the toughest stains out of my carpet. Rick and his colleague just got done from a really dirty cream rug we had that was pretty large at 15x15. I had spilled coffee on it and we had numerous other stains on it. All gone! I called for pricing and the question right off the bat was, "are you looking around for prices?" I answered "yes." (Of course I was calling places for prices and finding out service levels- do most people not???) Straight away I was told, and I quote, "then we are not the company for you, because we do quality work." I was speechless for a moment. Only after that put out there did the man ask what I was looking to have priced. I told him, still in shock by what was just said to a prospective customer. Actually, pricing did seem fair and based on reviews I may have gone with them. But there was no way I was hiring this company after how the initial interaction went! I was also interested to see if they did post remodel cleaning (obviously I didn't get that far into my inquiries). I was made to feel like some cheap skate just because I was calling for a price! Very wonderful job! Our carpets look fantastic, as does our couch. After two babies and many, many years of spit up, spills, and slippery shoes these guys were able to lift many many stains and make our rugs look new! Had carpet on our front stairs (inside) done the other day. When the guys were done, the carpet was only slightly damp, completely clean, and the former color had popped out.
