This company forces employees to upsell services & the guy who comes to clean your carpet is forced to upsell services was forced to pay $20 for a 600 sq ft cleaning.. What a hard working guy! Mark from Pro Steamer steamed my carpet and upholstery and I can honestly say no other company has ever worked so hard cleaning the same area. I've used Stanley Steemer for years and was usually pretty satisfied but decided to try Pro Steamer because there local and had some decent reviews. (They charged much less, which is a huge reason to try them!) Mark moved all the furniture and really made the furniture and carpeting look like new. THIS REVIEW IS FOR MAID/CLEANING SERVICES, NOT CARPET CLEANING. I purchased a living social/groupon/you swoop deal. They were unable to schedule my service until a month and a half out (perhaps they shouldn't have allowed so many people to buy the groupon). I was never told ahead of time that they wouldn't bring all supplies, so I got a call from them once they arrived asking if I had a vaccum. We had just moved in so I didn't yet, and asked them to just work on other things (dusting, deep cleaning baseboards, etc). Honestly, when I got home, all I could see that had been done was the bathtub was cleaned. No idea what the "three hours" of service was used on. Would not recommend. read more

I had 1 person show up last week to clean my place on Thursday, just the basic cleaning for the Amazon Local deal that I had. She was very nice, but an awful cleaner. She didn't dust, she dropped my wife's jewelry box on the floor, she didn't sweep/swifter before mopping, she used some sort of cleaner on my glass shower windows that left a film, etc. Also, I took a half day off of work so I'm out double b/c my place is still only half clean and lost a half day of pay. We hired this company to clean our couch. We used an Amazon local deal, which cost $45. Arunas showed up and said it would be an extra $60 on top of the deal because it was a 4-piece secional couch, which was annoying but understandable. Still a good deal for this size couch. I agreed and he went to work. Then the storm came...while elsewhere in the house, my husband and I looked at our camera system to check on our two kids napping...we have four rooms on camera, including the one in which he was cleaning. We watched in horror as he spilled a 5-gallon bucket of water on our pristine hardwood floors. We went upstairs to help clean up, but there was so much water it was standing on the floors for about 10+ minutes. Under the couch, the media cabinet, in the kitchen, etc. He told us not to worry, that it would "dry up" and to just leave the water under our $4,000 media cabinet from Room and Board. We insisted on getting his help to lift up the media cabinet to dry underneath and put towels down to air it out. 24 hours later the floorboards started bowing on an approximately 8' x 8' area of the hardwood floors and we called him to investigate. He came and acknowledged that the water did "look like it caused some damage." He said, again, don't worry and that it will "dry up" and that the floorboards would "return to normal" (obviously they haven't). After two estimates for repair (one sent by him), at approximately $6,000 worth of damage, and worrying about mold in the floor: Arunas has stopped returning our calls and gone silent, and we've left him dozens of messages. So, we paid $125 for a nice clean couch ($45+$60+$20 tip) and $6,000 for a ruined floor. You do the math. I was fully prepared to offer a 4-star review (taking away 1 star for the spill) based on how Pro Steamer handles the situation, because accidents do happen, and when a company works hard to correct a mistake I think it says a lot about their character. Unfortunately, this company is COMPLETELY IGNORING us. We are in the process of hiring leg@l counsel to force them reconcile with us and engage the insurance that they claim to have (on their website) to fix this horrible damage. Review will be updated pending how Pro Steamer Carpet Cleaner fixes this situation. Regardless, our enormous family room/kitchen has to be torn up, rebuilt, resanded, restained and revarnished and we will have to move us and our two babies out of the house for a week while the work is done. I called ahead of the appointment to make sure of the time so I could make sure someone was home. The person on the phone tried to change the appointment to a different day, but agreed to keep the appointment when I told her that would not work. What happen with me in this company was the most unprofessional way of doing business that I've ever seen. The experience I had with this company was the worst I've had in all my life. They told me NOT buy the Groupon They told me NOT buy the campaign until they got their to know how and what was going to be done. They are the ones to move all the furniture but, I did to help. All 6 rooms of furniture! When they got their and look around, they say it was going to cost me over 100.00 or MORE to do the job. Because of their travel time AND SO ON. Which is amazes me why they would even ever reach out so far away from their base, JUST to nickel and dime a client for living where they live. I talked to the owner extensively with details to make sure their I had a definite price, or THATS, what the owner said. At the end, after I told him why are you nickel and diming me. He said, I don't like to do residential and he was leaving because "I was COMPLAINING about the extra cost that was NOT talked about ... Wow! And he left my home just like that.... My house was upside down. Furniture everywhere to accommodate the service being done and the convenience I was providing them in doing, and he just left out the door. Very unprofessional. I called the neighbor got "Service-master" to come out and hour later for the same price and NOT anything extra! And they through in another stairs. AND NO GROUPON! Today I had scheduled my 3hr cleaning service that I bought through Amazon deals. First, they sent 2 people for only 1 1/2 hrs. They said that it was the same amount of work being done. Secondly, none of the furniture in the master bedroom was dusted. I feel like this is an extremely easy and expected task. Last, I came home to the garbage emptied from all of our trash cans but they were then just left to sit on our hardwood floor hallway instead of being brought out to the garbage. I would have preferred they just left it in the cans so they would not have leaked. I was extremely disappointed in my services today and will unfortunately not use pro steamer for any future services if this is how they operate. read more

When I called to see were the tech was and why he hadn't called me (which I requested that he do when I made the appointment) the dispatcher said she didn't know. A few minutes later she called me back and told me he was running an hour late. It would have been appropriate of them to let me know this especially as I cannot accommodate them at this later time. do not use for maid services!!! they were supposed to be at my home at 11 and they showed up after 2. they were also supposed to bring all the supplies and only came with a jewel bag of cleaners and a swifter. i even had to ask them to vauccum (supplying my own becuase they didn't bring one). i wanted the job to focus on dusting which was barley done and there is dirt and debris in most of the corners after they left. they cleaned the bathtub but left the grout yellow and full of mildew. they left before the time was up and hung around giving me the eye until a tip came out of my pocket (i always tip but it was really hard to do this time). there are many other smaller companies that do double the job at about the same rate. when i called to voice my concern, my words fell on deaf ears. my advise, keep shopping around... read more
