We have never had our almost 4 year old dryer vent cleaned out, so seeing the great reviews for All Star Dryer Vent, I reached out and made an appointment. The owner, Ryan, was very friendly easy to reach. He was quick to schedule our dryer vent service, in a very short timeframe. When Ryan came out, he checked our dryer heat readings and suggested a few items. One was a dryer vent brush to maintain the lint trap in between professional cleanings, the others were a new exterior cap and a better quality dryer vent hose. There was no pressure for any of the suggestions, and they were quickly and professionally installed. We are very happy with the service. Our dryer is much more efficient, drying clothes in half the time it took previously, and when we are ready for our next service, we will be sticking with All Star! read more

Ryan is amazing! I wasn't even home when he made his visit to our home, but even my husband was impressed. He got us back up And running and found all the f&$k-ups made by the builder to begin with. He got up and the roof and found a vent that was too small and left crooked for poor air flow. All the build up in the vent had totally clogged the flow and started absorbing the dampness creating a hard cap at the top....of lint! Ryan was great, he pulled the dryer apart to check it all out, cleaned the duct, and left the hubby very happy, and be happy by proxy. I can't recommend All Star Dryer Vent enough. Ryan gave me a quick response time and walked me through his recommendations and pricing before work started. He's actually extremely knowledgeable about dryers...I was stunned at how much lint had backed up into the dryer and was being singed by the heating element. My dryer, while not the best brand, kept giving me error messages, additionally I have a roof vent, so I know keeping my exhaust pipe clean is critical. I knew it was time for a cleaning when my dryer kept giving me error messages. I have used a past competitor (the big-name company) but after the last cleaning I felt taken advantage of, so I tried a new company. Ryan was quick to respond, and we scheduled a mutually convenient day and time. I have to say that I was impressed, he provided an estimate upfront, and it was reasonable for the services provided. Ryan said that I did not have much build-up, but apparently what was there, was causing the problem as now my dryer functions perfectly and no more error messages. We recently purchased a new dryer that told us we had an 80% vent blockage. After two visits from a large local HVAC company, and 4 attempts to clean the dryer vent myself the dryer started reporting a 90% vent blockage. Great. Called All Star Dryer Vent and Ryan was able to come out the same day to get us taken care of. His work was thorough, professional, and reasonably priced. The HVAC company we tried first wasn't willing to clean the vent from the room, but that's what was required to fix our problem and Ryan had no problem getting it done. After his visit and repairs our dryer is no longer complaining about a vent blockage and our drying times have dropped dramatically! My dryer duct was literally blocked shut because of the inferior work of the previous duct cleaning company - All Hours Air. (As a matter of fact, the blockage caused the fuse to burn out in my gas dryer.) Ryan had to ream out the giant blockage in order get air flowing again. He showed me pictures and let me take a look at the area. He also showed up when he said he was going to. He was also friendly and knowledgeable. I recently purchased a new dryer and within six months received an error code indicating the vent was blocked. Ryan picked up on the first call. He was very pleasant, helpful and able to add me to his schedule in a timely manner. He showed up early, explained in detail what he would be doing and went right to work. I was quite surprised at all of the lint that came out as he was working. The error message on the dryer had indicated 95% blockage and I'd say it was pretty darn accurate. Super knowledgeable, always follows through on timing and comittment, Ryan has done a number of 20 year old apartment/condo vent and dryer clean - outs, and increased the air flow from nearly blocked to 100% dryer flow. Great service! Ryan kept me updated on his itinerary as he had jobs during the day, including one that turned out to be much bigger than anticipated. He offered to reschedule, but as I wanted the job done today, he worked late to accommodate me (at no extra charge). He explained everything thoroughly as he walked through diagnosing my dryer vent system, showed me a live video of the inside and educated me on the specifics of my house ducting ... even recovered nut shells from a critter that had invaded from the outside vent and replaced the vent cover with one that will prevent such intrusions in future. Ryan was awesome. Came out after I had attempted to clean my dryer vent myself. After he inspected my vent he was honest and told me that I had cleaned 95% of it and he only had to remove a little piece of lint and that he couldn't in good faith charge me for a full service cleaning. Today Ryan came out and checked out our dryer vent. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He educated us on dryer vent safety and removed large amounts of lint from our vent. Ryan is amazing~If I could give more stars I would. We recently purchased a new home and a new dryer. The dryer worked perfect for a couple of weeks, then the flow sense sensor would signal and shut the dryer down. For an extended period of time we tried to get the builder to send someone out to check the ventilation in the house and the cap on the roof. Unfortunately we could not continue to wait so we had the dryer warranty send a technician out to check the dryer and confirm it was not the dryer. The technician came to our appointment and did confirm the dryer was functioning properly. We ran a test on the dryer and determined it had to be the ventilation in the home. We then found Ryan and he was able to schedule and come to our home the same day. When he arrived he told us there are 3 things that could cause this problem in a new build with a new dryer. Ryan was able to check the dryer himself and agreed it was not the problem. Ryan then went on the roof to check the cap and that is where the problem was. The builder left a screen on the cap that was suppose to be removed after installing the cap. The screen was covered in lint causing the problem. We are so thankful Ryan was able to come and fix the problem. Ryan is very knowledgable and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a service. My wife and I have lived in our home for over 13 years. We realized we had never had the dryer vents cleaned and after seeing a show about the potential fire dangers we decided it was time to get them done. Ryan showed up and immediately began getting to work. He even went up into the attic and discovered we had no exit vent installed. He installed all the venting to bring our return up to code. He removed what had to have been at least 20 years of dryer lint buildup. He even left the laundry room cleaner than it was when he arrived. Our dryer works like it is brand new again. We used to have to dry towels using two cycles in the dryer, now they dry in 40 minutes! Making the dryer more efficient should save on the electricity bill.
