This is a long overdue review. Victor has come to our home on 3 different occasions. The first visit was to help us put in a new top rack that we ordered for our dishwasher. The 2nd visit was to help us figure out a leak in our washing machine caused by dog hair building up under the cover where water drains in the corner. The 3rd visit was the best of all as he saved us $3000-5000 from having to purchase a whole new microwave/oven Combo wall unit. Call Victor-he is the best! My oven temperature kept fluctuating and I ruined evey single dish I tried to cook. I called Victor and he looked at it and diagnosed the problem. It was the electrical outlet (very old building) that needed to be changed. He said it was running 760 volts instead of 740, and told me I needed to have an electrican change it. Victor was absolutely CORRECT! My building manger called an electrican and the outlet was changed and now my oven works wonderfully and now the maintenance crew knows if anyone else in my complex has a problem with their ovens, this is what to do. I can't say enough by how pleased I was by Victor's work on my leaky washing machine. I sent him a text message on Monday afternoon (after waiting 24 hours with no response from a different repair person) He got back in touch with me right away and we set up an appointment on Friday - he apologized about the long wait, but he said he has been very busy. Day of the appointment he called me and said he could come earlier. Sweet! He was professional, did a thorough diagnosis of the problem (it was as I suspected) and was able to fix it right away. I liked that he was very upfront with the flat $99 fee for the diagnosis. He asked me questions about what was happening and as he was working on the machine, explained what was wrong. Perfect in every way. I only give 5-star reviews for a 100% perfect experience, and this was one of them. My dishwasher simply stopped working, so I called Victor. We had a hard time getting our oven to turn on and also stay on. I left a voicemail for Victor and he returned my call within a couple of hours (so prompt!). After describing the issue he said he could be out within 2 days (which I was also so happily pleased by!). He came out and accurately diagnosed the issue (in our case a bad relay that needed to be ordered and replaced). Victor is fantastic! Several months ago he completed work on my LG front load washer. I first had him out for an issue with a leak from the detergent dispenser drawer. He spent a fair amount of time checking the washer and drawer. He made some adjustments and it was not leaking. It did start leaking again so he replaced the drawer housing unit. It has been working great since the repair was completed. Victor had looked at my previous washer three years ago but I decided to replace rather than repair. I was impressed with him then because he took video of the issue so that I could better understand what the malfunction. Victor is always on time, friendly, honest, reliable and efficient. What a pleasant surprise. My LG washing machine was squeezing so I called LG and they directed me to a tv repair shop in Reno. After talking to the guy at the shop I knew it was a no go so I checked out reviews here and went with this company. I got a call back, scheduled the appointment and was so happy when he got here when he said he would. Of course the machine stopped making the noise and all he did was look at it. We talked a bit about what it might be and decided to wait until it got bad. He charged me for the visit and that was it. He could easily have told me parts were needed and more work was needed but he didn't. This was over a month ago. It's refreshing to find an honest repair guy.
