It's now 6 months later and the same issue is happening again. The new HVAC company is telling me that the new unit is fried because it was incorrectly wired. The new outdoor unit that they installed is incompatible with the indoor unit so the computer can't speak with the other one. It's also too big for my duct work, so it can't work and has to be replaced.

I called another company and the repairman did the procedure in 15 minutes while I observed and charged me $150. We had several quotes and ultimately decided to go with AHA because they contract with Trane. My experience with their service has never been an issue. All of their technicians are fine. We had one instance where our motor went out during last years ice storm and had to go with another company who could use their own personal 4 wheel drives to get it us to replace the motor. My experience with getting the quote from Dan was great. He is very knowledgeable and approaches quotes in a very helpful and common sense manner. I valued his input and how thorough he was. My experience with the technicians who installed our HVAC was great. They were wonderful to have in our home and we enjoyed interacting with them. My one and only issue with AHA is with their accounting person, Sharon Jenkins. About a week after the HVAC was installed I received an email from Sharon asking for more money for the install. I explained to her that the quote was $x and the final bill came out to be LESS THAN THE QUOTE. I even supplied the final invoice that I paid in full showing the difference thinking "oh she just needs to update her side to reflect the final amount". This is not uncommon and actually speaks volumes of Dan to over quote by just a little and have the customer a bit happier. After explaining the nuances of her job to her she was outright rude and refused to understand HER job. She incorrectly tried to say that the quote is the contract amount but didn't acknowledge the final invoice. Unwilling to go back and forth I contacted their customer service and was immediately told I was correct and my account was zeroed out. My advice to AHA is to part ways with Sharon. After reading a lot of reviews and speaking with people in my neighborhood it is a common theme that their only issue with AHA is having to interact with her. One person in fact said they went with another company solely because they refuse to ever speak to Sharon again. I would also suggest that AHA do a full investigation into her previous interactions with other customers. Were there customers in the past that didn't know any different and she was able to get that extra $$? Is this a systemic problem? Are their books in order? Where is this extra money going? As a customer it is not my responsibility to explain basic accounting to the accountant. I see her behavior as a giant red flag for any business. This review would be 5 stars if AHA had a different accountant who was actually kind and knew how to do her job.

We first used them for the countertops in our two bathrooms and were so happy with the result that we returned for our kitchen. The staff and owners were incredibly helpful, spending hours with us as we navigated their vast stone inventory. We finally chose a beautiful dolomite countertop that looks like a summer blue sky on a cloudy day in leathered finish. It truly brightened our kitchen and added a touch of elegance to the room. The installation was meticulous, the communication was excellent, and the price was very reasonable compared to other places we looked at. We also ended up buying our faucets and drawer handles from them. We were impressed with the quality--the faucets are all metal with no plastic parts, and the handles are solid and well-made. When we needed a few extra handles we went to another store because we were in a hurry, we immediately noticed the difference in quality. The handles from Blue Ocean had smooth edges and were a little cheaper, so we went back to order the rest from them. If you need a countertop, they should absolutely be at the top of your list.
