Very disappointing,I give the list beverage to a guy from there(the one with long beard ) and he give me the alcohol without two bottles of Jack (1.750 ml).He took advantage of the situation because I have a big order and I told him that I trust him ,for sure I will not do that again. They don't answer the phone . One reson they are not professional is that they smoke marijuana in the parking lot before they start working,I sow theme because I arrived before they opened the store. WHOA. I wouldn't normally leave a review for a liquor store in the middle of nowhere, but dang! This place has a huge variety, everyone was super nice (we didn't even get that much, but they helped us to our car) , and the PRICES! They're not joking about that up to 70% discount. My favorite bottle was almost 40% off the price I pay here in Portland. My hubby treated himself to some really expensive whiskey, because, well, it was't really expensive here! I don't drive down to California often, but you can bet I'll stop here every time I do from now on! read more

We always stop here on our way to Oregon. We often take orders for friends and family. Sometimes it feels like we are a delivery service for a bunch of heavy drinkers. The prices are much lower than Oregon and the selection is huge. They even have a small selection of beer, airplane bottles and wine. The service is fabulous? they help you find what you're looking for and carry it to the register while you continue to shop. Going here is like going to a Costco for drinkers, you end up spending a lot more than you anticipated every time. They also carry everything out to your vehicle for you. Although it is located in the middle of nowhere just south of the Oregon border it is easily accessible from both Northbound and Southbound Interstate 5. read more

I haven't been impressed with the prices at the 'discount' liquor stores in California. As a Washington resident, we pay the highest liquor taxes in the country. So, any time I'm in Oregon, I buy some liquor (Oregon's liquor taxes are slightly better than WA, but still the 2nd highest in the country). So, when I went into All Star Liquors, I was hoping to see some really cheap prices. Not the case. 1.75 liters of Jack Daniel's? $39.99. So, after sales tax, that's like $42.89. In Oregon, I routinely pay $42.95. A 750 ml bottle of Absolut Vodka at All Star Liquors was $17.99. That's $19.29 after tax. In Oregon? $19.95. But even Save Mart is crushing All Star Liquors. The same 1.75 Liter bottle of Jack Daniel's was $35.99 at Save Mart before tax. And they recently ran a special - $3 off if you buy two. So Save Mart's price was as low as $35.39 after tax. $7.50 less per bottle than All Star Liquors! And COVID-19 precautions? Sadly, LOL. At least 3/4 of the employees had their masks below their nose (what's the point?), and one of the guys working there was just walking around WITHOUT a mask at all. Not even pretending. You must go! If your from Oregon and want a deal you must go! About 50-75% off Oregon prices. The staff is super. They will give you recommendations and in some cases recipes to help you. It's a tight store built in an old house. So they are right there to carry your selections to the counter and start a pile for you. It's only 1/2 mile into California. All by itself. read more

A fun place to shop for liquor just a few miles south of Ashland (and on the California border), you Oregonians can avoid the horrible OLCC and stock up on your favorites. Some prices are higher, but most are significantly lower due to bulk buying by the owner (prices aren't set by the state in CA as they are in OR). Bring a price list from Oregon and compare. To our shock and delight, the proprietor opened a sample of Canton Ginger Liqueur(VSOP Cognac Infused with Baby Ginger) for us to taste in the store. Then she gave the little sample bottle to us to keep (try *that* in Oregon). Ironically, once we crossed the border back into Oregon, we were technically in violation of open-container laws because that little bottle was still in my boyfriend's pocket! A fifth of Maker's was around $20 rather than the $27 in Oregon. They have especially good deals for the 1.75 versions of Absolute Citron, Jack D and others. Some things were missing: Amaretto di Amore and the new Bakon Vodka (which they had never heard of)....there was no Crater Lake Vodka or Clear Creek Brandy or anything trendy, just your standard brands. They advertise beer and wine too, but it's a small selection. read more

Oh how I love this liquor store just over the California border. I stopped by last fall and stopped in to buy another years supply of booze to keep my wine company in the cellar. The staff here is amazing, they are so friendly, take items to the register as you pick them up. We picked up three 1/2 gallons of vodka (varying labels) two 1/2 gallons flavored Three Olives vodka, three 1/2 gallons bourbon, one 1/2 gallon rum, three 1/5's bourbon, 1/5 Jaegermeister, and a variety of sample bottles. The damage was about $350. I felt like I went in with a 50% off coupon, because that is how much I saved by shopping in California instead of Oregon. See you next year. read more

Yes this is the best place probably on the whole west coast to buy liquor, both for value and helpfulness of staff. The variety is good, but not quite on par with, say, a Total Wine store. I think most people would be fine with the selection however. Salesfloor staff were outstanding in taking my purchases to the counter, even though it feels more like a theft deterrent in how aggressive they are about it. The only complaint I have about the place is the snarky/rude cashier. I think he was trying to be funny or cool but he came off like a jerk. They also carry purchases out to your car, whether you like it or not. read more

We had a great and friendly experience with this Liquor store. From the second we walked in we were greeted and offered help. This is great for people who don't really know what they're looking for. They helped us carry everything out to our vehicle. They also have the option to make a "Road Trip" online. This is where you can order and pay for your liquor, others can also tag along onto it and pay for theirs too, then you pick it up for everyone! This was great for us (being from Oregon).
