Needed to charge my car at the Tesla supercharger and low and behold this plus was right next door. Inside is spacious with lots of outside seating as well. We were greeted and seated quickly. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Tried a flight of five beers. All very good but my favorite was the When Doves Cry Hazy. Shared the fish tacos with my wife, we both liked them. Bought a couple 6 packs and a growler to take with us. Great place to stop even if you're not charging your car.

Spring finally reared its gorgeous head, so it was time to grab a meal with outdoor seating. Caldera came to mind. Time to soak up the view of the hills and get a little sunshine. I'm not much of a beer snob--to me IPAs taste like the smelly rope you were forced to climb in 3rd grade gym class. Can't comment too much on the selection (lots of IPAs), but I can say the menu made for an intriguing read. They had beers concocted with chocolate, toasted coconut, rose petals, hibiscus, and even Hatch chilis from New Mexico. I picked a nice stout to keep me company. I was impressed with the quality of our main course. We went with the truffle mac to share, and then the Baja fish sandwich (love the name). The noodles in the mac were done just right, firm and not falling apart, doing god's work, carrying the rich and creamy truffle cheese. The fish was cooked beautifully--crisp and seasoned on the outside, flaky and glistening on the inside. The ingredients were all fresh and refreshing. If you're looking for some quality pub food, come out and try it. Pro tip: if you love root beer, they make the best kind. Also available at local grocery stores. Low in sugar if you are watching your figure.

Excellent service. Good happy hour specials. Nice ambiance and decorations. The three taco special is delicious!

The Oregonian made with house seltzer, vodka, fresh blackberry purée- so refreshing w/o being too sweet

Dog Friendly Brewery with Extensive Beer options! Outside Ashland, OR, this Brewery is tucked away off the freeway and out of site. We wanted to tour Ashland's dt & grab a bite but we got shut out on finding a parking spot. Plan B was driving out to Caldera and we're glad we did. It was hot but we were seated quickly at a shady outdoor table and Josh, our server, immediately brought over a dog water bowl for our thirsty boy. Josh took our drink order to get us started and was on top of his game making sure all the outdoor tables were kept happy. Drinks - Amber Beer was tasty and my Oregonian Cocktail made with house seltzer, vodka and local puréed blackberries was out of this world & not too sweet. Food came out quickly and hubby had a solid burger served with delightfully crispy fries and a chipotle ranch dip. I ordered a salad with added grilled chicken. The greens were crisp and I could tell that they made the salad to order because the apple and berries with blue cheese combo were so fresh and well dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Caldera Brewery is a 5/5 for being pet friendly, having both indoor and outdoor seating, friendly and efficient servers, extensive beer and drink menu and great food made fresh. Highly recommend!

Popped into Caldera on our drive through town. Great happy hour with $4 pints and $10 fish tacos. They have a huge selection of beer, but I ordered a Juicy IPA, and while I did not ask to double check this honestly tasted like an Amber and nothing like a Juicy IPA so I wonder if the kegs may have been switched. The burger was standard. Fish tacos were small but tasty.

On a road trip and stopped by this place. The interior decoration is very interesting and full of characters with beer theme. The food is also yummy and good price with happy hour price between 2pm to 5pm. It's a nice stop for the road trip but just don't get drunk:). Will come again next time if I'm driving by.

Food was so good! Service was great. We were staying at the Best Western near by after a 15 hour drive from So Cal. Needed good food after road trip food and this was the perfect place.

Had a pit stop nearby to charge the car and decided the grab a bite and drink here. The chicken nuggets and tater tots are quite standard. Got the oatmeal stout which was nice. The place was a good spot for charging the car while eating and sipping. It's a pretty big place and plenty of drink options. I like that they have hard seltzers as well.

All the food I have had here has been great! All the staff is kind and helpful! The hibiscus rose tea is delicious alone, but it's also great sweetened a bit. Outdoor seating is available with a great view, and inside is nice as well.

Spacious interior seating area, with air conditioning and large ceiling fans for good ventilation on a hot summer day in Southern Oregon. Host and servers were friendly and welcoming, with just the right amount of attention. Beers were good, really nice selection. Food was okay- the ahi was dry and the salad dressing was on the sweet side, could've used some acidity.

Our visit was great, we will return next time we are traveling on Interstate 5. We had one taster with dark beers, outstanding, and an IPA was good. Food was fantastic a taco special and a lobster grilled cheese. We also took some beer to go.

We went in at dinner time on a Thursday. We were seated right away without a reservation, but you can make one online. I could see them being busy on a weekend or a busier part of the season. There are tables for groups from 2-6. They also had some pinball and other games in the back (as well as some board games in a side room). We didn't find out the ins and outs of the games, but it makes it feel like a place you are welcome to stay at for a while. They had a great kids menu. Our girls both wanted pizza and the observant server recommended they share a pizza because they are not small. It was accurate and kept us from having a whole leftover pizza, even though the prices were reasonable and it would have been a good value. The two adults shared the spicy cauliflower from the appetizer menu and the quesacarnitas tacos. Both were seasoned well, very flavorful, and all around delicious. The cauliflower wasn't super spicy, but it was super tasty so we weren't mad. The place is a brewery but we had cocktails. My husband said it was the best margarita he had on our trip and tasted like it was made with quality ingredients. My Paloma was also good! Overall, we were super pleased with our visit. Gluten free items are marked clearly and there is also a gluten free bun and pizza crust to choose from. Highly recommend before or after a play or a day of shopping in the Main Street area of Ashland.

We started with the deep-fried pickles, which were a letdown. They tasted like basic bottled pickle slices lightly dipped in flour with minimal seasoning--nothing special. Dinner didn't improve much. The menu items sound really appealing, but once they arrived, the flavors were bland. We ordered the Irish stew, and the meat was very tough. Tried cutting it in really small pieces so I could chew it, but it wasn't worth the effort. Had a few pieces with gristle and fat. I ended up picking the meat out and just eating the carrots and potatoes. We also tried the famous meatloaf, which was the highlight of the meal. I enjoyed it, though the portion could have been a bit larger. The gravy was tasty, and it came with peas and mashed potatoes. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were great, the dishes lacked flavor and felt overpriced for what was served.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences we've had. After an eight-hour day on…read morethe road, we were looking forward to enjoying the last dinner of our family road trip together. Instead, we left extremely disappointed. We were a party of seven and were repeatedly forgotten throughout the evening. We were told several times that there was a party larger than ours that our server was attending to. Whether our server was overwhelmed by the larger party or the restaurant was simply understaffed and unprepared for a busy Saturday night, repeatedly using another table as an explanation for the lack of service only made the experience more frustrating. We were paying customers too and should not have been made to feel as though our table was less important. At one point, my husband had to get up and find someone just to ask for malt vinegar or tartar sauce for his beer-battered fish. The only employee he could find was the bartender. Instead of simply helping him or politely finding someone who could, she rudely responded, "You need to go ask your server." The entire reason he approached her was because we couldn't find our server. Her dismissive attitude was so unnecessary that my husband completely lost his appetite afterward. The poor service continued throughout the meal. We needed another set of utensils and napkins, but after waiting and being forgotten yet again, we eventually had to take them ourselves from an adjoining table. The drinks we ordered before receiving our food took approximately 30 minutes to arrive and only after we tracked down another server who happened to be "new" and wasn't even assigned to our table and asked about them. He was the most helpful this evening and deserves kudos for lighting a firework to get things moving. The food overall was mediocre, and the beer was unfortunately warm. I will give credit where it's due: the cocktails were good, and my teenage boys enjoyed the cheese curds we ordered as an appetizer. The best part of the evening was simply being together as a family. We understand that restaurants get busy and servers can become overwhelmed, especially on a Saturday night. However, there is a difference between being busy and repeatedly making customers feel forgotten or like an inconvenience because another table is larger. After an 8-hour road trip, we had hoped to enjoy an amazing final dinner of our vacation. Unfortunately, this was an incredibly disappointing way to end an otherwise wonderful family road trip. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this restaurant.

We found it easily and didn't have any issues parking or finding the entrance. We were greeted and seated immediately and had a reasonable amount of time with the menu. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese grilled cheese and my partner and his sister both got the bacon and bacon burger. We also got a pretzel and cheese for the table. The pretzel and cheese came out pretty quick and was great! It wasn't really a pretzel so much as a bread twist but it had great flavor and was soft and fluffy. The cheese had a wonderful flavor. It was a little gritty but it tasted great and there was enough left to dip our entrees in. My sandwich was good but I was hoping for more cheese. It was a little dry, I think the mac and cheese had been baked first. The burgers and fries were also good. We finished with some dessert - lemon cheesecake and a brownie with ice cream. They were both good! The brownie was rich and the ice cream balanced it well. Our bill came out to $88 before tip. We had leftovers and the food was all delicious so it was definitely worth it. The service was good and fast as well. We would definitely come back!
