They have an air conditioned waiting area with chairs and a TV while you wait. They got my inspection done very quickly just like last time. They also do oil changes. I'd received a quote for front strut replacement and a rear strut package at $900-1000 from very polite front office guys at a hoity-toity shop with car service to and from your home. In contrast, Val, a mechanic at All Star quoted $300.00 less, same day service, and no frills. This is a garage, not a coffee lounge. They have coffee, they have chairs, they have a TV, but I wouldn't call it comfortable. Pay a Uber to bring you home. Pay Val to do excellent work at a reasonable fee. I thought Val was plenty polite, but do not expect lispy concierge service from the Ritz Carlton. read more

Honest, quick, efficient, well priced I had a car with squeaking noise, and also the engine light indicating to replace possibly two catalytic converters and knock sensors. Several mechanics had told me it was time for new brake pads (new brakes 2 years ago) and gave me estimates for the whole job. I asked estimates at 8 places, the dealer being the only one that could do it all in one place, was the highest. Val, at All Stars, was extremely informative on the phone, and gave me the first appointment of the next day. His estimate was the lowest in the area. He listened to my description, but was careful to check the car well. He removed all tires and showed me that brakes were in perfect shape and had years to go (he saved me $400-700). He did the rest in 1/2 the estimated time, for $700 less than others in the area, and the dealer! A week after that, the engine was overheating and A/C was blowing hot air on 102ºF days, AND another repair code appeared on the dashboard. I had a road trip the next day, and almost panicked. He saw the car immediately, and after checking carefully confirmed that the radiator just needed antifreeze. He also observed that the other code had "gone" so he didn't have to do anything on the car. I noticed that at that time there was just one car in the whole garage, and made my appreciation for his help and honesty loud and clear. In just minutes, for free, the car was blowing cold air and in good shape. When it comes to cars, trusting your mechanic is key, they won a client for life with me, and I hope you all give it a try next time. Excellent service that won't brake your badget! read more

I was even almost hit with my own truck because the service tech was in too much of a hurry and just being rude in general. I was not the only individual he was rude to as well. This is my second time coming to this shop and trust me it was not my first choice. I was referred here by kwik kwar (my low maintenance mechanics). I needed a new California converter, this service happened in March 2017. The vibe of the shop was okay, customer service could have been better. The speed of service was reasonable. The cost of service was pricey. I'm back here for an inspection (not my first choice because their are friendlier mechanics in the area) and lo and behold I fail because of the California converter (its now Dec 2017). Luckily I saved the receipt and have a 2 year warranty. I was told i had to wait for the owner to arrive at 9am. Around 9 16 he shows up and at 9 30 he finally sees me in the lobby. The first thing he says to me is where are your keys, no hello or anything. At this point I'm just upset. Ive been here since 7 45. Mind you when he arrived, he helped another customer before me even though I was here first. I guess I have to make my presence known. Anyways, he took my keys and gave no information on how long this service will take. I just hope things go well and I won't have to be back here anytime soon. On a positive note, they have free WiFi. My review of this place is 50/50. read more

I have been here twice. Once for a muffler upgrade and another time for my state Inspection. Each time I was in and out in no time at all. Plus I love that they are locally owned. My only issue would be the seats in their seating area have seen much cleaner days. But I don't let that reflect the rating because it does not effect the quality of service that your car receives. Terrible service, tried to go talk to them about getting a muffler put on and the gentleman at the desk talked on the phone (on a personal phone call) for 10 min with me standing there, then proceeded not to say a word and go back in the shop. Also see what appears to be the manager drinking bud light in the shop. Waited for another 5 min and left. This shop is a joke and needs to be shut down. read more

I went in and they had me to talk directly with the exhaust technician (not a salesman behind the counter). The technician gave me many different options, with prices. The service they provide is spot on, however it was kind of (really) ridiculous what they charged me for what I wanted done. I had a replacement gasket to be put on my exhaust and it was literally 2 bolts and I was done. I go to pay expecting him to say $5 or $10 at the most. It was $30 to take 5 minutes and screw 2 nuts and bolts together. Not really complaining as I had been needing it to be done for a while before I could get my car inspected; but come on now. read more
