I took my FOrd F150 to them because my regular mechanic was taking vacation when my AC went out. They charged me a diagnostic fee to look at it and said there was a big problem with the entire system. They wanted to put dye in to check where the leak was and said it was leaking everywhere- had to replace all the hoses and may have to get a new compressor, etc. the estimated cost of repair to the AC working was $1800. They claimed to have put in several hours tracking down all the leaks. I told them I couldn't afford that and they would discount the hours to generate good will, etc. I think they charged me around $500 which included an oil change but did nothing for my AC other than an expensive diagnosis. When my regular mechanic came back from vacation he looked at it and said it was a minor problem he sees all the time. He replaced some seals and charged it up with Freon (it is still working) and told me there were no leaks in the hoses and compressor was fine) he charged me $186. So great to work with an honest mechanic! These guys are not honest and prey on people who trust them. Don't trust them and take your vehicle to another place for a second opinion. I think you'll find it doesn't have the problem they said and it will be much cheaper. I saved over $1600 by just saying no thanks. read more

I just moved to the area and I had to have my hub bearing and an alignment done. These guys did a great job. They checked the brakes and informed me that they were moderately worn and didn't need replacing, most places would have told me to replace. Derek was very helpful and informative, he communicated with me through the whole process. I appreciate Derek for making the experience a good one. DO NOT USE, I paid them over 900 to rotate my tires and do my brakes and they did not complete any of the services they were supposed to do.. i too my car back several times right after regarding my brakes and told they were fine..come to find out they did nothing to them .. my brakes were at 1mm one month after supposedly getting new rotors and brake pads and when I called to state my issues JOHN hung up on me.. Also one of the times i was there 4 customers came in the same day stating that services had not been completed .. this place thinks people are dumb and will not catch on to them ripping you off read more

Think Twice, I would find elsewhere. about a year ago i had them do some work on my daughter's car, i found it quite a bit pricey but they got it done, and i wanted to give a local business a shot. I took my other daughters car there today to diagnose a problem. (they arrogantly charge you $130 to walk in the door) meanwhile the result of the issue is was the batteries were failing, any auto part store and most mechanics won't charge you $130 for that diagnosis. When i asked about the issue that we brought it in for i was told that's all the technician wrote. BIGGER issue, they quoted me Almost $800 to change out two batteries. I quickly called several other places and was quoted about $450 What a Rip, I won't be back, and if you are smart, neither will you. read more

We have had other issues with a couple of other places in Montgomery. So it was truly nice and not pressured into anything else. The price was good too. Josh and his crew got us right in, a quote was written up, and then as work was beginning Josh gave me a ride back to our KOA. This has got to be the BEST group of guys. HANDS DOWN!!! I am not from Montgomery, Tx. I was visiting for a Wedding. While I was here I accidentally shot my dash board (I know stupid right?)... I used to own a transmission shop. Recently my sedan was serviced by another shop (not Autotrust) and I was told it needed $5000 worth of suspension work. Since it has only 50k miles, and there were no noises or handling issues, I knew without even crawling under it that this was highly suspect to say the least. I took it to the dealership and they confirmed there was nothing wrong. I then made an appointment with Autotrust as I wanted to find a local shop I could trust. The dealership is too far away and their prices are ridiculous at times. They were extremely courteous, both on the phone and in person, inspected it quickly and gave us an honest and accurate diagnosis - that no work needed to be done now and that some minor work would be needed in the future. They even told me on the phone they would be happy if I took photos while it was up on the rack. My vehicle is a $100k supercharged Jag. I guess the other shop figured I would be an easy mark for a rip off. Autotrust will be doing all my maintenance and repair work from now on. read more

Autotrust is a small local shop behind Walmart on the 105. We had mobile mechanic quit before he finished the job leaving us with a garage full of car parts. After a phone call to these guys, Alfredo did a house call the next day to check out what had been done. We got our Lexus towed to the shop and 24 hours later everything was back together and purring like new. Alfredo was kind enough to drive out to our house and take my wife to the shop to pick up the car. It's hard to find service like that from a dealer. I like these guys. These guys did a great job with my tune up and rear wheel bearing replacement. The cabin noise in my Subaru was loud and I blamed it on the tires. Auto Trust checked and said wheel bearings shot. They replaced and my car is now quiet like it should be. Great business to deal with ! read more

Alfredo at Autotrust was able to get me in for an alignment the same morning I called. Service was friendly, waiting room was clean as was the vehicle workspace, control of the TV was offered, coffee was available, diagnostic fee was waived upon agreement to have service performed, and labor rates were less than I've paid elsewhere. They discovered a couple other issues with my vehicle so I was back the next day for new brakes, front & rear. Salvador gave me a ride home so I didn't have to spend half my day in the waiting room (bonus!!) Overall, great experience. Happy to have found a local shop to which I can entrust my German vehicle. read more

Wife took her vehicle there for an oil change. When she went to pick it up they told her the battery was at 40 percent and needed changed. Of course she said no and they jump started it. She drove home and it started just fine the next day. It was 22 Nov. Today on 3 Jan it was 28 degrees and it started effortlessly. I don't feel she was treated honestly. read more
