Grant, at All Star Nissan Used was rude. I was prepared to buy a vehicle until he told me I had to hurry and and make a decision because he was busy. I said I am busy too. He began to leave. I said he was rude and would get a bad review. His reply? "No worries." It doesnt matter what his perspective of the interchange might be. The bottom line is he didnt care about how his words and actions reflects on him and his company. I cannot see ever returning to that dealership again or to any company that employs representatives who have "no worries" about offending customers and who say they are "busy" in order to pressure their customers. Sales department was great and I would give them a 10. But if you have to speak with the Business Manager beware.! She was very disrespectful to me while I was helping my son finance his first car. Yelling and condescending. As she stepped out made faces to her colleagues . She would not print anything including warranty information which she tried to cram down his throat. **UPDATE** The non-existent problem Mary SWORE I didn't have has left me stranded yet again in less than 48 hours. If you were hoping to push the problem off until the warranty expired, you failed miserably. Almost as badly as you failed to diagnose and fix my car. The service department said confusing, contradictory, & impossible things about the diagnosis and performance of my vehicle. For instance, "there is ZERO oil on the dipstick" so we cannot complete diagnostic without oil change". However, at the same time, they said the car was running fine and having no mechanical problems. I'm not a mechanic but if a car with 26,000 miles (synthetic oil change at 16,000) has ZERO oil and therefore can't have diagnostics run, then by definition it is not running fine with no mechanical problems. Unless I had an oil thief who syphoned my oil out, my car has a serious mechanical problem. Which I suppose they are hoping won't recur until the warranty is out in 10,000 miles, at which time it will mysteriously have a serious and expensive mechanical problem. Almost forgot that the person I was dealing with immediately started disparaging Price LeBlanc Nissan and their service department as soon as I told her where I bought the vehicle. read more

if you have a choice don't use this location for service. they have had my Rogue for three weeks now. i had a rat get into the engine and chew the wire harness. For the first two weeks it sat without any work being done. Going on week three they just ordered parts but have no idea when parts will come. My car rental runs out this Friday. My issue I got tired of hearing they were working on it when they weren't. which I discovered by going by the place to question them. Now I'm getting a run around about them giving me a loaner till they get off their asses and fix my car. I will never use this location EVER again and will not recommend it to anyone. Follow up to following review I posted 2 years ago: Truck has 20,000 miles since. Bo one hiccup in those 20,000 miles. rRegular oil changes and nothing else. How can a truck need a new engine and still be running 20,000 miles and 2 years later. I drive it daily. I wouldn't trust what those technicians with my bicycle!! Be careful! By the way the regular oil changes were done by me so there isn't a single carfax report on them!! Was told i needed a new engine in a 2019 Titan with 42000 miles because a check engine light came on. Was told that my warranty for the engine would not be covered due to lack of maintenance reported to carfax. Took the truck back and fixed the problem with a computer and a rag. Took the same truck to a mechanic who removed the valve covers and confirmed that the motor was clean and their was no lack of maintenance. Truck has been running great since we fixed it ourselves and changed my own oil. Can't believe a dealership would try to steal 17,000 dollars for a simple cleaning of a sensor. They are liars and I would get a second opinion on anything they tell you. read more

I called looking for a new SUV and spoke to a very nice young lady who spoke with her sales manager about what ai was looking for. She texted me after our conversation and said she would stay in touch. I texted her the next day on a Thursday, inquiring to see if they had any luck finding what I wanted. I enjoyed most of my experience here. However, the only person I had an issue with was Kristen. She was very nice when I was buying my vehicle and when she was convincing me to get the extra coverage, gap insurance etc. in the months following my purchase, had to call her on two different occasions to request information. The first time I called, she was very rude to me. A month later when I called about something else, she just didn't answer and I left a message. She never called me back. I ended up having to go in person just to ask a question. Luckily I was able to find Adrian, who was such a big help and a pleasure to be around. Purchased a 2014 Altima for our son with an extended warranty. Weeks after purchase we rec'd a notice from GAI stating that the extended warranty was being denied. We contacted the All Star Finance department and was told that the wrong form had been completed/submitted and it was an easy fix. Never heard back from him as he promised. Called General Manager (Nic Richard) and left voice mail, with no call back. Called Customer Relations Dept, left voice mail and did get a call back. Within an hour we were told to come to the dealership and complete the correct form. We did. Weeks later we still had not rec'd any confirmation from dealership/GAI that policy was approved so I called Nic Richard and left voice mail, no call back. Called Kimberly Kent and left voicemail, no call back (twice). Finally researched warranty company and contacted them myself to get confirmation. Poor customer service after sale. A customer should never have to deal with issues 5 months in to a purchase. Especially issues with paperwork. This was our 3rd vehicle (2 New/1 Used) to purchase from the All Star Automotive Group and we will not purchase another. We will take our business and money to a group that respects the long term relationship with its customer(s). There are way too many dealerships in the area to deal with one that doesn't follow up. read more

Brought my wife's Rogue in late June 2020 for an oil change, fluids check and air in the tires. I was 'not' greeted at the front desk by two young black males who didn't say hi or welcome to Nissan. Nope just stared me down. So I made direct eye contact with one and headed to him. Finally I got an unenthusiastic, "Can I help you". Normally when I go to a business and they do not greet me with a smile, I tell them how to say Hi and usually get a smile. I did not want to risk it here because one of those two idiots might be working on my car. I told him my appt and name and what I was getting done. I dropped it off and left. 15 minutes later Mary B. calls me and says I have a nail in my tire that cannot be patch or plugged because it's on the side wall and I need an air filter. I said no filter and I want to see the tire first just do the oil change and fluid check. She says "Ok, no tire just oil change and air filter"...No!...no air filter and I want to see the tire. The lady at the payment desk was friendly enough. Everyone is happy when you give them money though. I looked for a nail on both back tires and could not find one so I left. The next weekend, my wife says air is still low in the "nail" tire. So, I go to take the tire off and I notice two lug nuts are missing! All Star took the tire off and did not put the 2 lugs back on! I never asked them to touch the damn tires in the first place. Just air them up. If something would have happened to my wife and kids cause that tire came off, I would be dead now because I hung myself in jail after committing atrocities. And yes, there was a nail. It was is in the middle of the thread not the side of the tire and it was very easily plugged. It took 20 mins to fix. Still holding air just fine. I looked on the invoice and it would have cost me $325 for one tire. If I had believed the LIE and trusted Mary B. they would have stolen that money from me and my family at a time when everyone was saving encase the SHTF over the common cold. Avoid this place everyone. Go to Bill Hood in Hammond. It's just a little further down I10. I bought my Rogue there and usually get service done there too but I live closer to All Star and figured I would give them a shot. I do not want a reply from All Star either. This is to warn people away from you not get an apology or a refund. Train your staff to greet customer with a smile and to be honest. And keep your bigotry to yourself. I received an email from All Star to review my experience and Yelp was an option. Oh, I was already planning on writing a review here, I just wanted to cool off a bit so my review wasn't a complete rant. My 2010 Rogue has wobbled a bit when you apply the brakes for awhile, but it was getting worse and I figured while I was away for a long weekend I would drop it off to get fixed, and hope it was the brake pads or something simple. I called and asked if I could drop my car off Friday around lunch, and pick up Tuesday morning before work. No problem I was told, they would be able to look at it around 1pm. I drop my car off Friday around lunch talk to the service rep, tell them it needs an oil change, a brake light replaced, and the drivers side windshield wiper replaced and watch the service rep write this all down and confirm that I can pick it up before work Tuesday morning. I also see that they have my information down under my maiden name and give them my married name, assuming they will change it. I get a shuttle ride back to work, go out of town and am flying back Monday afternoon. I hear nothing from them all weekend. On Monday, around 2pm, I call the dealership while I'm at the airport waiting to fly home. My call is put on hold, then reverts back to the All Star Automotive general answer service. She apologizes and transfers me back to the Nissan service dept. The service rep puts me on hold again... I wait about 4 minutes and hang up. I call again and get the same runaround. I call once more before I get on the plane and tell them I'm getting on a plane, leave my name and number and car and tell them to CALL ME because I won't be able to answer my phone until about 5. Great, I look forward to having a voicemail when I reach my layover stop. I reach my layover stop, and I have no voicemail. I call them and the service rep puts me on hold to find Chris who is apparently my service coordinator or mechanic. I talk to Chris who say's they're not sure what's wrong with it, they're working on it now. Why now, at 5pm, when you've had the car almost 2 days!? I call my husband, who gets angry and asks for the number. He calls me back about an hour later and says, "Chris says he was just about to call you. It's the rotors, they couldn't figure it out for a long time. It'll be $320, I approved it and it'll take 4 hours. It'll be done around 11 tomorrow." At this point I'm exhausted and whenever I can pick up my car sounds great, regardless of the fact I was told Tuesday at 7 was when it would be ready and now I have to take time (and money) out of my day to come over there. Tuesday comes, they call me around 11:30, and send a shuttle. My car is ready. At the cashier desk I ask to see the paperwork and the oil change, wiper blade, and brake light are not listed on the receipt. The service rep was not apologetic even though he was the one who wrote everything down. The cashier tries to talk to me about my pretty ring. All I can say is "that's fine, I will go elsewhere for service", and pay the $412 ($320 to $412....) and hightail it out of there. For the record, the car does not wobble anymore. I won't be returning for service. I am underwhelmed to say the least with the amount of communication the service dept provided me about the status of my car and how long I was put on hold. I specifically asked for some things to be done to my car that were not done. I was not apologized to for the length of time they held my car. And the final amount was almost $100 more than I was estimated. This dealership is closer to my work but I will be trying somewhere else from now on. Now I'm heated all over again. Shoot. read more

This is a review of the service department. Four weeks ago I was visiting New Orleans and someone hit the drivers side mirror of my Nissan Murano while it was parked on Napolean overnight. Crappy. I physically went in to the service department at All Star Nissan a week later to inquire about the cost of fixing the mirror. This was my second trip in to the dealership, as I had visited once before to ask about getting my key fobs reprogrammed. I was told on the phone that they would have to order the parts for the mirror, so it was best for me to come in and get an estimate. No problem. The parts guy came out and took a look, then quoted me a reasonable price for the parts, plus $60 labor. I agreed to this and, with three service representatives standing there helping me, made an appointment to get the mirror fixed, along with a multi-point inspection at the same time. I scheduled the appointment three weeks later in order to allow the parts department time to order the parts. While these three gentlemen were listening to my story about my car getting hit overnight while parked in New Orleans, I can see them smirking. One then proceeds to say, "M'am, don't take this the wrong way, but we don't believe your story. You probably just need to work on your driving." I joked right along with them, as I agree that the story is a questionable one, and at the time I didn't think much of it. I asked if they needed anything more from me, I confirmed the time of the appointment again, and I left. Fast forward to today, the day of my appointment. I immediately knew there was a problem when I told the guy at the service desk my name and he couldn't find me in the system. I retold the entire story, from what happened to my car to how I physically came in to the dealership to get a quote for the mirror. The guy behind the desk fumbles around for a bit, gets my VIN number, then heads to the parts department. He comes back out to tell me that not only did they not order the parts for my mirror, but they don't even have my name in the system as having an appointment today. I think the thing that ticks me off the most is that when I made the original appointment, it's clear that the guys working at the desk were so busy making fun of me that they failed to put my name and information in the system correctly to reserve my appointment time (a time that I confirmed twice before I left). Furthermore, not one of the three people helping me (including a guy FROM THE PARTS DEPARTMENT) asked me to pre-pay for the parts they needed to order (which I found out after the fact would be required). Being that I know nothing about cars and have never had to have damage to my car fixed, this was not common knowledge to me. But you'd think a car deal ship service department which deals with this all the time would know to ask. My time is valuable and All Star Nissan clearly does not care to waste it. After three separate trips to the dealership with nothing to show for it, I can assure you that I will not be going back. read more

Could not figure out what was wrong because no codes came up eventhough I was having problems. I suggested they check a specific part when I dropped it off after googling symptoms. After 2 1/2 days they said they would replace that part at a ridiculous amount and if they didn't work they could replace the engine harness for over $5000.00!!! I started out with a vehicle originally when this dealership was on FL Blvd in Baton Rouge and came back to the same salesman, for my next vehicle 3 years later. When it was time to trade in that vehicle, the dealership had moved out to their new and current location, but my former salesman had moved on and I should have left at that point. The last experience I had when I purchased my 2018 Nissan Murano SV, was a complete nightmare from the start of the day that I drove it off the lot. Not only did they mess up the deals that were offered from Nissan, I had to constantly follow up with the GM for SIX MONTHS to get them to payoff my previous lien, that was paid and provide proof to Nissan.. to this day, it still shows up on my credit report even though I have taken care of it. The vehicle started having issues with moisture and leaks after the first year and it took several attempts to find and correct the issue - even though what ultimately was the issue, was apparently one of the most common problems. I cannot stress enough the importance of customer service, especially in this market and how important it really is to deal with people that understand this concept. This dealership does not, and with the exception of a service tech that tried his best, the entire rest of the dealership staff has been atrocious to deal with, from the GM, the Service Manager is a joke - he does not return any calls or communication - and that is in the history of all vehicles that I've had through them when he was contacted. I have one remaining item to clear up with the previously owned vehicle and not only did I have to take care of the entire paperwork myself, but when I followed up and inquired as my warranty company had advised I do, again the staff was RUDE and unprofessional with my query. PLEASE heed my warning and stay away from purchasing a vehicle from this dealership if you expect a good customer experience. read more

What ended up happening is he traded his car in and at the same time I " by myself" with my credit ended up being the only person on the paperwork. So my friend is driving around in a car he doesn't even own and is getting no credit out of it which is why he asked for my help. Not for me to buy him a car and him pay. I recently bought a 2017 Frontier. Great truck good price. The salesman was very nice and helpful. The problem was with the finance guy. I have bought many vehicles through the years and I know it is the finance guys job to try and sell extended warranty etc, This guy however tried to trick me! He quoted me payments and never once brought up extended warranty. I saw it on the paperwork and questioned him about it. First he said bank required it (LIe) Then he started badmouthing Nissans warranty. I wonder how many people he tricks this way. Customer is only worried about the payments so he slips in 3k in unexplained charges. This was at the used lot in Denham Springs. I talked to 5 people and left 3 messages and was still left with unanswered questions, a list of 11 things wrong with a Nissan Certified car, and no returned phone calls. I called AGAIN and was connected with Ken in the new car department. He was GREAT! Within one hour he had answers for me and called me 3 times to ensure me that he was doing his best to help me! My Nissan Sentra's power window quit working. You would think that they would check the simplest thing to fix first. In this case, the window switch assembly. However, they charged me $115 to diagnose it as a bad motor and regulator/ parts cost: $630.14; labor $202. So I purchased my own parts and had the motor and regulator replaced at another mechanic; only to find out it was the window switch after all. I wasted a total of about $400 on All Stars diagnoses, parts purchased (motor and regulator) and installation at the other mechanic. I finally replaced the faulty window switch myself after buying that part online for $151.53. All star Nissan offered no compensation for making the wrong diagnoses. Disgusted! read more

We have always had a great experience when working with All Star Nissan even form the time we purchased our vehicle there. It was no surprise to me that on our last visit (06/30/15) the staff in the service department (Stephen, Chad, and Cam) were exceptional and patient with our dilemma. Upon my wife bringing her Nissan Sentra in because she "heard the engine making a weird noise" we were told by the mechanic (Cam) and the customer service guy (Stephen) that the car had little to no oil running through the engine because of a slow leak from a punctured oil filter can and that the lack of oil was causing the sound in the engine. We were advised to consult with the last establishment who changed the oil on the car because it seemed as though whoever changed the oil previously punctured the oil filter. My wife gets her oil changed regularly at the Meineke on Coursey. We had never experienced any issue with the Meineke until this day. We explained to the manager at Meineke exactly what the Nissan mechanic told us. Stephen (from Nissan) was even patient enough to email pictures of the punctured oil filter to the Meineke manger in order for him to get a visual of the damage. The Meineke manager was less than eager to take responsibility for the damaged oil filter. He even became verbally combative at one point. We explained to him that we were only passing down information about the car that was told to us via Nissan. He finally came to the conclusion that he would only take responsibility for the damage if he could see it physically. We then explained to him that Nissan suggested us not to drive the car until the proper repairs were done (these repairs could range from a simple oil change to having to get a new engine for the car once the damage was assessed). He then (reluctantly) decided to drive to Nissan and see the damage with his own eyes. We informed Stephen at Nissan that we ALL were on the way to review the damaged oil filter and he advised us to remain calm and that it was a good thing that the Meineke manager was willing to come and assess the damage. When we all arrived at All Star Nissan Stephen, Chad (I assume Chad is a supervisor or manager) and Cam the mechanic were waiting on us in the garage. Cam graciously filled the engine with oil, turned the car on and raised the car for us all to witness a very slow yet steady leak of oil coming from the oil filter. The Meineke manager was visibly in guilt as the Nissan crew explained to him that they assumed whichever mechanic at Meineke who performed the last oil change on the Sentra seemed as though they had a hard time either screwing in or removing this oil filter and used the wrong equipment to pry it on or off, in turn causing a puncture in the oil filter OR it could have happened from "wear and tear" however they assumed that to be the less likely occurrence. The Nissan crew was calm and patient in explaining this to us as well as the Meineke manager and they praised him for taking the time to come out and actually view the damage. When the Meineke manager left (seemingly defeated) the Nissan crew continued with their explanation of the damages with the car and made us feel secure about the situation. Chad advised Cam to perform a routine oil change and keep the damaged oil filter to give to us if at any time after this incident the engine shows any other damage (resulting from the previous lack of oil) we would have documented as well as physical proof of the incident. We left there thinking we would have to come out of pocket about $150 for the diagnostic and the oil change, which wasn't that bad. Shortly after the incident we got a call from the Meineke manager informing us that he would pay for the diagnostic and the oil change and just to call him on his personal cell phone when we go to pick up the car from Nissan. Nissan went above and beyond in finding the issue, documenting the issue, educating us on the issue, and giving recommendations to resolve the issue. They went the extra mile to make sure our needs were met and remained very calm and patient in doing so. The Sentra will be getting routine oil changes and tune ups from the All Star Nissan dealership from now on because of this exceptional service. read more

I have been trying for over 3 months to get an appointment to take care of 2 recalls and fix my trunk latch. They tell me they have to talk to the service manager and will call me back with an appointment. Never get a call back. This last time I call All Star Ford and ask if there is anyway they can do it, she says no I have to go to Nissan since I have a nissan and she will call and get them to call me. That was 2 weeks ago. I am DONE with All star. I have bought my last 2 autos there, but never again. I call Royal Nissan and get an appointment on that call. I will be switching over to them now. Dealt with online salesperson over the phone and had pleasant experiences. However, as soon as I stepped onto the car lot, it all changes. Our sales consultant clearly did not know that much about the car, despite the fact that we had an appointment to see that specific car. There were several "extra" fee's that we were not told about, even when we specifically asked. My husband was not with me so they were going to send a "runner" to get his signature the next day.... three days later, still no runner was sent and they were no longer taking our calls. We live in a state where the tag paperwork is required in 10 days, so although this issue seemed minor to them, we were racking up penalty fees the longer we had to wait on them. 5-6 weeks after we purchased our vehicle, we finally received word that our paperwork had arrived and our tag could be picked up/paid for. However, for that 5-6 weeks I had called the manager who helped with the purchase of our vehicle, the sales person, the financial manager, and whoever else I could reach for assistance. None of them were calling me back, at all. I reached out to the general manager of the dealership and left him several messages. To his fairness, he called me back one time and I was on the phone with my insurance company and did not answer. However, I called him back immediately within 1 minute and he did not answer and did not return my phone call, despite many messages. I finally reached the secretary of the dealership's owner. She is the only one who helped me and returned my phone calls. At this time, the paperwork had already been sent so there was not much to actively do- but I appreciated her willingness to address my concerns and return my phone calls. I also deal with people in my line of work. I understand how frustrating it can be. However, I was never rude or unprofessional. I purchased a $30,000 vehicle from this dealership and I would hope that somebody could have returned a phone call before it had to be taken to the owner. Honestly, this was the worst experience and I truly hope to save someone from the misery that I felt when having to deal with this business. Please take your business somewhere else. I just received service from this location at All Star Nissan on Juban. It was a terrible experience from start to finish. This is the first time I have ever posted a negative review but this was horrible. The staff was completely apathetic at every stage. The first interaction was that the service manager Sondra failed to return my initial call despite assuring me she would. I brought my truck in to have a heater hose replaced. That service was performed. However, as I was pulling out my truck began to make a grinding noise that it had not previously. The service group wanted to charge me an additional fee to diagnose the problem. I did not ask for anything other than diagnosing the problem that did not exist previously, without charge. I spoke to another manager that was a smug moron that essentially accused me of not disclosing a previous condition. He decided that the value of a loyal Nissan customer was not worth the diagnosis fee. I have previously purchased 3 Nissan trucks and have been a loyal customer for 20 years. Never again. I was at the All Star Nissan dealership for regular oil change service & tire rotation. Also I have ordered a Nissan genuine Engine Air Filter which i can replace it myself (why to give $5.00 extra for labor) and he billed me $24.99 for that.
