They have a lost young lady answering the phone that withholds information such as how long the delivery will take so 50mins+ for a pizza from a place that has a 3.5 rating is normal....YOU'RE NOT THAT BUSYYYY! No chance in hell you have a line out the door for your cardboard...as a matter of fact I know you don't I've been in that hole in the wall (not the good kind) plenty of times. Yet they'll have 6 people working in the back on any given day and somehow still manage to not be efficient in ANYTHING but cigarette smoking in the back ‍ then come back in without washing their hands and grab your slice off the day old rack and warm it up for ya. Great pizzeria for dinner tonight with relatives. We're not too familiar with options around this area, so did a Siri search. Our first choice led us to a place that was either out of business or didn't exist. We rolled into this shopping center right before rush hour and went with the pizza vs. Chinese option next door. Inside: Nice Italian and Italian-American pop culture decor. As a native New Yorker with Italian American roots, I felt right at home. Comfy, private booths and one overhead TV tuned to the local news. Attentive, friendly service. We ordered a half regular and half pepperoni pie. EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR PIE WAS AMAZING. Fresh, doughy crust, melty cheese, and incredibly fresh and tasty pepperoni. Whatever pepperoni they use is tastier than what most pizzerias use. It was also served to us at the perfect temperature and really hit the spot. We are picky about pizza and my relatives had no complaints about any aspect of our meal. (They dine out frequently and can be very critical of things.) HOLY SHIT I was surprised because we almost didn't come here since Yelp only had it rated by few stars. I don't know how they are with deliveries based on some of the other Yelpers' comments, but they made us feel comfortable and fed us well. I've been getting pizza from here for years. I was recommended to it by someone as having the best pizza in the area. I would have to agree, the pizza is authentic New York style, and it has a thin crust and great flavor. However, other things about this place prevent it from getting more stars. Close to a year ago I wanted to place a phone order for pick-up, and I apparently was asking too many questions, and the lady told me to call back when I knew what I want. So, we didn't place the order and chose a different restaurant. Last night, we ordered the family feast special which includes a large pizza, a side salad, 8 garlic breadsticks, and a 2-liter soda. It was $23.99. The pizza was delicious as always, the salad was good, but a little small for a family. The garlic bread however tasted like plain breadsticks, they seemed to be missing garlic! We tried this place about a year ago and we were not thrilled with the Eggplant Parm nor the Pizza. Also, the guy taking the order was rude. I passed that off as him being a gruff New Yorker which I am used to. We decided to give it another shot New Years Day since they are local and ordered 2 spaghetti with meat ball dinners and a Rigatoni ala Vodka. All three dinners were dry, bland and tasteless, basically inedible until we doctored them up. Excellent pizza! I usually leave the back end of the crust over. Not at All Star Pizza. It tasted so good it would be sinful to leave even one morsel over. Sauce and cheese were the best. I always have to add more cheese and garlic for flavor. Not here. It was perfect. It's a 20 to 25 minute drive from my home, but oh so worth it. Next time I may have the Veal Parm or the Antipasto. My friends devoured their generous portions of both and are looking forward to returning again later this week. Nothing to write home about folks. Pizza is way too expensive for what it is. Breadsticks are better at chained pizza shops.. I ordered a white pizza extra crispy, came very soft. Usually go to this place since it's close to work and hey have decent pizza. HOWEVER... splurged today on a craving (that I usually get at other places without a problem) and ordered ravioli with Alfredo sauce. The ravioli was undercooked and the sauce was DISGUSTING!!! It didn't even seem like it was cream based. The flavor was just horrendous. Of course they had charged me extra for this sauce - which I paid without hesitation and always pay as this is my go to at other restaurants - but this was a scam. Excellent! This is my first time ordering from them. Just moved out here to Deerfield and was looking for a new place to get good pizza and this was the place! Flavorful, perfect blend of sauce, cheese, and other toppings requested. I ordered thin crust and it too, was perfect and baked to perfection! For the size of the pizza and the toppings, it was priced right. I don't know about their past, most reviews are over a year old, but what they are today is quality and their "NY" Style Pizza is exceptional! My family has been ordering pizza from here for years! Its tough to move from New York to FL and expect good pizza! This is the place to go!

Don't ever eat in here. If you must, order out and take it home where it's safer. We had never tried this place before. We were asked by a young man with glasses if we wanted to eat in. We said yes. He handed us menus and we sat at a table. The restaurant was empty. We ordered a pizza and a sandwich, and drinks. He took our drink order first. Our server did not bring us drinks, nor did he tell us to "get the drinks from the cooler." Instead he brought the sandwich and fries. My husband started choking on a french fry. No one came over to say, "You ok?" No drinks were served. Instead, the server brought over the pizza as my husband is growing red-faced, coughing and choking. I had to tell the server to put the pizza on the other table because I was terrified my husband was choking to death and I'd have to do the Heimlich or call 9-11. HELLO? Can't you see he needs help? You bring the pizza as if nothing is wrong and don't say anything, don't offer WATER or bring our drinks or ask if he needs medical help! Finally my husband stopped coughing. Thank God he was OK. He ordered our food boxed up and told them we are never eating there again. It was only THEN that they told us we should have gotten our drinks from the cooler. HUH? I've never experienced such total uncaring customer service. I hope I never do again. I'd hate to see what would happen if someone had a real medical emergency at this place. Good New York style pizza, when they don't burn it. My dad lives in this area, so as kids whenever we wanted a large, affordable pizza ($9:00) - we would order here. They also sell by the slice. I haven't had much else here but the owner is extremely nice. But beware, my dad's last experience was bad (jan. 2013). He ordered a pizza with half mushroom, half pepperoni. Once he got it home he realized they made it half pepperoni and mushroom and half cheese. So when he took it back, they gave him a bad attitude. I'm sad to see this place has bad reviews. I've been ordering here, take-out, dine-in, and delivery for almost 15 years and I've always been satisfied. Their pizza is very good. I'm a toppings kind-of-girl but for some reason I love their cheese pizza. It is a tad greasy, but I just blot it with a napkin. I love their thin crust. What I love from here the most is their Creamy Italian Dressing. I could drink it by itself, which I know sounds gross but oh we'll, it's that good. Their subs are also really good and fresh. Their bread is a little hard but other than that no complaints. They used to have a turkey sub that was to-die-for but they took it off their menu a few years back, so now we get their Italian. We also order chicken wings. They aren't the best I've ever had, but they're tasty and cooked well. They've had the same guys working here forever and I've always thought they were friendly. 4 stars because the prices are a little high, but when I have a craving for their pizza, it's worth it. I just moved down the street from All Star Pizza. This is the only pizza joint near by so we decided to try it. So far we've ordered from them 3 or 4 times. While we think it's expensive for the size of pizza, we go back simply because it's that close. But, to be clear, 2 out of the 4 times we ordered pizza from there, we ordered for the people that were helping us move and paint the house, that's it. The other 2 times, we either had plans fall through for dinner or just couldn't decide on what to eat. Can't believe they advertise high quality ingredients. If it was high quality, the pizza wouldn't be as greasy. Also, the "large" size is more like a medium. One large cheese with pepperoni $18?? If we plan ahead and want to enjoy a really good pizza, we'll go to Tomasso's. At least there they give you a nice size 18" large pizza for under $16 bucks. read more

I ordered some spaghetti with tomatoe sauce to go. i placed it on my front seat of my car. honestly the drive was two minutes from the location to my house. We ordered a veggie pizza, a large calzone with pinneapple, and the 4 mini cannoli. It was our first time ordering from All Star Pizza. The pizza was too thin, and the veggies would fall out. The pizza was lacking tomato sauce, and flavor. The Calzone was below average, because it had no flavor and the bread was not crispy. The cannolis were the worst part. The inside tasted like frosting from Publix, and the outside tasted like a sugar cookie. I give 3 stars because the food was edible and not completely repulsive.This restaurant is a one and done. Couldn't help but react to Lisette's review. We were there that night and after an hour of the young children running wild, including dumping the condiment containers onto the floor, the proprietor politely requested that they have their children behave more appropriately. I was embarrassed for them, too bad they don't have the social graces to be embarrassed for themselves. They were the one's that were rude and don't know how to talk to people. I live 20 miles away and eat here 2-3 times a month. All Star is one of only 2 pizza parlors in Broward that I will frequent. Delivery was speedy and on time so that was a plus, and the side of crushed red pepper I had called back and asked for was in the box as promised, thumbs up! Loaded just the way I like it but not overboard to the point you forget you're eating a slice of pizza. And an important but when dealing with pizza, the everything-side dough was so soggy to the point I thought I was eating an omelette. Literally cut it with a fork mushy!
