I was stranded in a parking lot with a completely flat tire, and my insurance sent this company to tow my vehicle to a repair place very close by. I waited a few hours before the tow truck driver arrived. He started setting up to tow my vehicle but then abruptly stopped. He said he was told to discontinue because my insurance coverage had lapsed, which made no sense. Then he left. I called my insurance representative, and she assured me my coverage was fine and dispatched another towing company. She called me a little later while I was still waiting for the second towing company. She said she did some investigating and found out that All Star Towing had simply abandoned the job of towing my vehicle (after I waited a few hours for them, mind you) in order to go and take up another towing job that they would get more money for. read more

Called All Star Towing, was quoted $165. When the truck arrived, it had EB Towing on the side. The driver confirmed the quote and said they were the same company. No issue there. After the car was dropped off, the charge was $173 instead. When questioned, the driver said $165 was the cash price, $173 for credit cards -- something neither the operator nor the driver mentioned upfront. It's not about the $7, it's about transparency. Had they been upfront, this would be a 5-star review. Don't change the price at the last second. read more

Really bad customer service and driver. Called in for a tow truck and told dispatcher for driver to call me when he was enroute, dispatch said driver will be enroute right away. Driver never called and I waited for 45 mins then called to cancel. Driver showed up when I wasn't with my car and started to hook up my truck with any permission. I showed up to check on my truck and it was hooked up to a tow truck then driver said I have to pay him or else he would not release my truck to me. Even tho that was an illegal way to get money. I had to end up paying this guys for not doing anything but unhook my truck on a call it was cancelled. Wouldn't recommend this company unless you want bad customer service and them taking your money for no reason. The way people speak to you at this business is unprofessional and rude. They do not try to help as much as they are rude to you. I was having trouble with my payment method because of some financial issues so they kept our car overnight. However, the next day they demanded we pay CASH or zelle. This company is GREAT! They were able to tow my car from Watsonville CA to Hollister CA when triple A would not, could not find anyone will to tow my car after it had broken down. My car is a 2010 Nissan Murano, not a hard car to tow. The said they would be there at around 1:00 and they were. Following a roadside emergency due to fuel exhaustion, the CHP responded and initiated an investigation, culminating in arrest after refusing a sobriety test. My vehicle was towed by All Star from 8 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. the next day, incurring charges of $1,037.50. Fees included a $300 hourly rate for retrieving my phone without consent. I Called for a tow this afternoon. I got a quote and was asked to text the information on where the car was and going. I texted and asked for an ETA as well. Driver was half hour late, came with another person in the truck and no masks. Apparently somebody thinks that these rules don't apply To them. I had already getting a weird vibe. I asked how I was gonna ride in the truck to go with my car. The driver called his boss and I overheard his boss saying have her take an Uber. Why would I pay for an Uber. ? I declined the tow, the driver is still trying to work with this. Hes on the phone with his boss still. This place is as shady as they come. ZERO STARS. They were called by my insurance agent after my vehicle was in an accident. I got into a verbal argument with the dispatcher because he insisted on taking my car to his own lot instead of the shop I frequently use. Thankfully, when I arrived at said shop my vehicle had been dropped off. One week to the day of my accident my insurance agent calls asking what shop I needed my car towed to. I explained to her that my car was already at the shop, and had been, since the day of the accident to my shop of choice. I also mentioned the verbal altercation with the dispatcher regarding his insistence on taking it to his lot and how unprofessional this was. She agreed and made a note to drop the company from their list of choices, based not only on my experience but other folks similar issues. Long story short, after clarifying with my shop that my vehicle had indeed been there since the day of the accident, this company was trying to scam a weeks worth of storage charges and a tow fee from my insurance company saying that my vehicle was at their lot for a week and is now being moved to my shop of choice. Had one of my tire sidewalls blow out. Car doesn't have spare so needed a tow. I was waiting forever (almost 2 hours) for towing from another company. Then they said they couldn't service me. Mustafa and all star towing came within an hour once they were given the service. Brought a flat bed and he was EXTREMELY careful putting my car on the tow truck. He took such good care to not scratch or damage my carbon aero kit. Would highly recommend for any towing needs from supercar to entry level daily. It took 2 hours for the driver to even arrive on scene, he called me once asking where the location was and then hung up on me once I explained. The tow truck reeked of cigarettes, like he had been smoking inside the truck, there was spilled chew spit all over the floor, and the worst part was he was texting while driving and almost rear ended a big rig.
