It was a couple minutes after 6pm on a Sunday and my tire was terribly low on my old car along with the tpms light coming on, wouldn't go off even after adding air. I had assumed a nail. This shop was the only place open in the area for 50 miles. I drove to it thinking maybe someone may still be there. The gentleman there was so kind and said he'd take a look. Extreme attention to detail, and he found that a previous patch had been leaking. Even despite being closed he helped me out. Very thankful for the help and kindness. Value-wise, I got the feeling they he is genuinely there to help and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend. The new owner, Rogelio Romero, has a very gentle, kind demeanor, and his customer service and workmanship are exceptional! Wanted some chrome trim painted Matt black, my front bumper lip painted in a metallic black color and my trunk ducklip painted the color of the car and I couldn't be happier. Had to fix a small dent on a car in a hurry and on the same day. They have a fairly new owner now for about a year (forgot his name). He is very calm and gentle. Horrible experience dealing with south county collision center. Alison is evasive and wouldn't return my calls once I signed over the insurance check to her. Turns out, they did a quick sale of the business which was in the dumps because of poor management. Alison and her husband owned this business and when things went south in their marriage, my car ended up on the very back burner to be repaired. I wrote 5 months ago regarding the terrible service on my car. I went back in February to get my car of course it wasnt done it was in horrible condition he could not finish the job. So we picked up the car without paying for it ... We called the insurance company and they were so angry we tryed to take it other places to be fixed but others refused be cause they did not want to be liable for the condition it was in. so they insurance had to pay my car off it was considered a total loss because this dummy made it worse. read more

I Had my truck finished by Romero (new owner) and it came out looking brand new, he even touched up some areas that had nothing to do with the collision. At first the owners act nice and welcoming but service went down the drain as time went by. Took my car to get fixed a couple months ago, let me tell you something; if you want your car to come back to you with more problems this is the right place. Plus the owners, who are brothers, will argue in front of you with each other as who gets to keep the money you're paying. Plus they will call you on a Saturday night (about 9pm) asking for $2k (I had already given some up front too, out of the $5k) because apparently there's no money for the materials needed for your car to get fixed. I have the evidence of calls and texts asking for money late at night or at the most unrealistic times, in case any of you want to see them. Paint job is poor too, there was so much contamination on my door's paint after they finished, missing bolts from bottom liners of the vehicle, the front passenger side fender liner (above the tire) fell off as I was driving away luckily it was right outside their shop. I noticed that since they couldn't remove the liners off, they ripped the off and then put back on with glue and forced bolts on them. They only replaced one of both fenders they destroyed. I should've have taken it to Advance Auto Body, where I took a previous car and they did a great job. read more

We had an Audi door replaced here. The quality of repair and repaint was great. We have no complaints. Allison was extremely nice (as reported here). But unfortunately, they underestimated the time to fix by a lot and could not seem to predict when the car would be done (kept saying "tomorrow" for 5 days). Allison did everything she could to make it better, eventually comping a rental car for all of the days that they were late and giving us $100 off the bill too. But, they were late late. This really had an impact on our family since we had planned for the car to be ready when they had said. Thank goodness we had not planned to be going on a trip or needing our car earlier. So, recommended, but just be certain you don't need your car on time. read more

By far the worst experience I've ever had in a shop. I've never had car accidents or involved in any so this was my first time dealing with a collision center through an insurance claim. I was referred by a really good friend to come here and to speak with Allison. My experience happened at the end of July, they had my car through December!! Allison gave me so many excuses of why the car was not done in time. I finally went over to the shop and it was always closed. Finally found out through her that she was selling the company and I had to deal With her husband. Long story short, my 2015 Audi A3 was not repaired 100%! The mechanic down the street couldn't align the car because the framework was shitty. The body work is just the same. I finally filed a complaint with BAR to get my car looked at again because to this day, Allison and the new owner will not return my calls and do the right thing and get my car fixed correctly!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, unless you want to store your car for half a year!! read more

I had an appointment for them to install new headlights in my Jeep. They quoted me an hour and a half and then called me in an hour and 10 minutes to let me know it was ready. It always makes me happy to have the work finished on time or early! They adjusted my headlights as well so I wouldn't be hunting for squirrels on the side of the road. read more

Incredible. I stopped by after being referred to them, with questions about some body work before selling my Honda Accord. "Allison" was expert and helpful about all kinds of issues with the car, and did research on a number of things, including options to replace the hood, and even recommended ways in which I might get that job done more cheaply than they could. She then ordered three small parts I needed to get the car ready for sale, and called me today when they were ready to be picked up. I can't imagine that this shop earned more than a couple of bucks on me, while taking more than 30 min of their time as well as the ordering process. Will try to be clear, concise and straight forward on my review. 1) We took my son's Audi for an estimate to get the front bumper repaired (scratch on right side) 2) Allison provided the estimate along with the following speech (loud & clear): although the damage was on the right side, the entire bumper has to be re-painted or else color difference would be very noticeable throughout the years (couldn't agree more) 3) After service completion, my son went to get his Audi just to learn that damage was fixed (great job Allison) BUT the bumper was half way painted. 4) Wife and I inspected South County Collision Center job upon completion. I have to tell you something. I'm color blind and, even so, I could point out up to where the bumper had been painted. 5) Took the car back and Allison agreed to complete the unfinished job. The problem: my son was driving back to Arizona (College) next day and Allison needed 3 days to complete the unfinished job (per #2 above). 6) All the parties agreed to bring the car back in May/June timeframe, when my son would be back for summer 7) Took the car back in June (per #6 above). Allison refused to complete the unfinished job with the following justification: A damage under the bumper on the left side would require more work thus resulting in additional charge. There is no way she can prove that such damage happened AFTER we got the car. On the other hand, I can not prove that the damage was already there when we got the car. My word against her word. 8) How did we end up on this? I refused to pay Allison any additional money as I had already paid to get the ENTIRE BUMPER repaired/painted back in January. The reason we had to postpone this was because South County did not do the job in the first place (#2 above). Allison refused to re-paint the entire bumper as stated in the estimate, even already being paid to get the entire bumper repaired/repainted. 9) Now I have a nice Audi with a front bumper that clearly shows the quality of South County Collision Center work. Leave me a note if you want to see how your car will look like if you grant the repair to South County. read more

VERY unprofessional and shoddy work. I took my truck to South County Collision to be repainted due to chipping paint. They gave me an estimated time to complete, and ended up taking several MONTHS longer to complete the job, but that is not the worst of it. About a year and a half after getting the truck back from them, I had a problem with one of the speakers in the front door panel. I had to remove the panel, and found that most of the brackets holding the panel on were not only broken, but put back together with TAPE and GLUE! I contacted Allison to let her know what I had found and to get the panel replaced. She stated that since the repainting had been done 19 months before, that they were not responsible for it. I told her that no one else had touched the door panel since the repainting, but she accused me of lying. Don't trust your car to them unless you want shoddy, unprofessional work that they don't stand behind. read more
