Not only did they not do as requested, they didn't bother to call once I informed them she was lost. We are in Texas. She lost her life in Colorado under suspicious circumstances. So, on top of all the grief of losing a 43 year old young woman in a violent manner, they couldn't even let us have a peaceful homecoming. A Better Place was on a recommendation list provided by the Poudre Valley Hospital and I would also recommend them.

I followed-up with the request in writing, and then again confirmed over the phone that my request would be honored. They promised me it would be. Well, they cremated the body and forgot to preserve a lock of hair first. Initially, they blamed it on the coroner. I called the coroner who confirmed the body was in order when they released it to Heritage and then she called Heritage herself to let them know. Heritage finally admitted it was their mistake and promised that a supervisor would call me immediately. I never heard back from anyone at Heritage. I would recommend against using Heritage.
