I told the receptionist that I had a TPO roof since not everyone works on them and she said they did do them.. I waited almost a month for an estimate. They are busy and I get that. When he got here he almost immediately decided he didn't want to do the job. He said they didn't work on TPO very often. I asked about framing if there were repairs needed. He said they didn't do any of that. I have never seen a roofing company that can't replace a fascia board. They advertise skylights on their website. You gotta do some framing to install a skylight. So I waited a month for All Surface Roofing to find out in 5 minutes they were not interested in doing work I was told they do. I am finding that some roofing companies are not booking any work at this time since they are so busy. I lost a month waiting for them. It's a very busy month and they just sent me to the back of the line. Really disappointing. Seems to be a lack of integrity from my perspective. read more

I want to point out that this contractor is unusual for their degree of collaboration and accountability after a misadventure. During the roof replacement at my expensive home, the severe rains and the stage of repair led to a leak that caused moderate damage to one room in the house. The company representatives responded in a timely, professional manner and were communicative throughout the process. I think it says a lot about the quality of an organization when they address problems head on like this. In the end, our new roof appears to be well done and I would use them again if the need were to arise. read more

Yelp doesn't allow 4.5 stars, which is what I'd give All Surface Roofing for our recent complete roof tear-off (2 layers) and replacement. Communications with their estimator and site supervisor were thorough and clear. There was no effort to up-sell us on things we didn't need. The project commenced on the scheduled day and wrapped up on the 4th day, despite constant intermittent showers. The job involved roofing around 12 pre-existing skylights, which slowed things down, and nearly 40 ft. of rotted eave replacement. The 4 person crew was efficient and attentive to details and to our concerns. The site was IMMACULATE at the end of EACH DAY! The eave work added 33% to the job which came as something of a shock, tho the lineal foot charge for that work was described under 'Optional Items' in the proposal. Note: It adds up fast! And All-Surface generously worked with us to lessen the sticker shock. The final invoicing was a little confusing since our initial deposit did not appear on the paperwork. I called All Surface on a continuing problem with our roof after dealing with a roofing company that did not fix the problem. The guy that came and gave me the estimate was very knowledgeable and gave me a fair and honest assessment of what our roof needed. He told me the fix would not be cheap, the other guys will nickel-and-dime me with all the bandaids they would put on my roof. But to fix it correctly it would take a little money. We decided to go with all surface, and I think it was the best decision we made. It really wasn't that much money to get the roof fixed correctly. The guys that came out were very nice and very efficient. I came home just as they were finishing up and not only did they clean up all the mess from cleaning off the roof but they also cleaned all the debris out of my garage and out of the alcove of my front door. They even sent me a thank you card for using their services. So far, with the rain of late, the roof has been fantastic. I would definitely recommend them. read more

After having All Surface clean my gutters for the last 19 years, I am firing them. Not because they haven't done a good job, but because my loyalty to them means absolutely nothing now that I need them. I have a terrible situation with a clogged gutter that is pouring water like a faucet (actually, more like 3 or 4 faucets) right over my un-sheltered front door, swelling my front door, seeping through the threshold, and warping my hardwood floors. Everyone who comes in the front door is getting soaked. On top of that, my niece and her three kids are moving in with me this weekend and the forecast calls for rain all weekend. So they and their stuff will get soaked. I have never asked to be moved up the schedule before, but I felt that surely All Surface would be willing to squeeze me in sooner after I explained the situation, given that I was a long-time customer, and also because I offered to pay a rush charge. It's not like anybody else would know they got bumped by me because they never give you a specific date (they give a range and call the day before). First answer was they'd get to me as soon as possible. That was last week. It was so bad this weekend that I called again and begged them to come sooner, even if it's only to clear out the gutter right over my front door, offering again to pay a rush charge. I said I hoped they could come out and at least do the front gutter this week or I would have no choice but to get someone else to clean my gutters because the situation is damaging my home. Their response? They have other customers ahead of me in line, sorry, it will still be 4-5 weeks wait. They could care less. So I have taken my business elsewhere, to a more highly rated service here on Yelp, and they are coming on Wednesday, thankfully. read more

Given my budget constraints, it was not too surprising that the initial attempt to find and fix the cause of the leak had a couple of hiccups, but they bent over backwards to make sure it was fixed correctly and at a very good price. read more

All Surface's quote gave us a few options to choose from (very much appreciated) and had a quick turnaround on service. I had a great experience with All Surface. I decided it was time to get some quotes on a new roof. All Surface was the first to come out and give me a quote. The estimator was great, and took the time to check my attic and go over options and explained lots of things to me. After getting a few more quotes, I decided to go with All Surface, even though it was the cheapest bid. I don't usually go with the cheapest bid, but based on my experience with the estimator, plus a great recommendation from a friend, I decided to go with All Surface. To my surprise, they were able to start a few days later. The tear off and installation went really well. The crew was small, but they worked so hard! They cleaned up after themselves each day. As they neared the end of the work, I asked about the edge venting that was supposed to go in- they did not have that on the work order. I called the estimator, and it was a clerical error, so they got that installed the next day, with apologies. I was astounded at how clean the property was when they were done. They cleaned EVERYTHING. I had given access to the garage, and I swear they even cleaned my dirty garage, and behind the garage! The crew even touched up the paint trim on the peak of the garage that the new flashing did not quite cover- amazing! One other note, a couple of days after completion, it rained, HARD. No problems with the roof, but one of the gutters was totally overflowing. I emailed my (awesome) contact in the office, Amy, and she had a crew out the next day to have a look- there was a piece of roofing in the gutter that had been missed and had blocked it, and they cleared that. So while there were a couple of oops issues, they were immediately and quickly and happily remedied. Mistakes happen, and we're all human, and they way they handled the couple of small issues was excellent. I could not be happier with my beautiful new roof, the price I paid, and the experience in general. read more

My roof is 17 years old and is looking a little mossy and tired. Worried about the coming winter rains, I called 3 companies to get estimates. Those guys showed me "separations" between my asphalt shingles and the flashing and said it was time to redo it. Contacted All Surface because they are the installer for Sun Setter shades. We need a large shade installed on a window that faces directly west. When I contacted Sun Setter they said they would match Costco's price on shades. When I talked to the person who schedules installation for All Surface Roofing, he said they could not match Costco's price so he said we should order through Costco and they would install. Now I call to schedule the installation and he tells me it will be seven weeks from the time I have the shade and that if I would have ordered through them I would have been at the "front of the line for installation". He did not tell me this when I originally talked to him. I may as well cancel the order because by the time it gets installed it will be fall and will not need it! This guy needs a lesson in customer service. I guess they have so much business they don't care! read more
