I had a timing belt, clutch, starter and other things done here.The starter was ruined after a year..it happens unless they are from the dealer but I had a axle seal leak paid about $270 dollars and 21 months later the same axle seal is leaking again and their only solution was to charge me $270 again, Yes, the 12 month warranty is over but a repair should last longer than 21 months. Timing belt is still good 57,000 miles later. The front counter people I had contact with are competent and they are not stingy or impatient about giving out information and are forthright. They usually have the lowest prices too, (except for a wheel axle I needed repaired) sometimes their prices are only a little bit lower, other times far lower than competing chains. I am giving this shop 4 stars because i am comparing them to other chains and All Tune quotes were never outrageous. I trust their competence but they are not the fastest shop most likely because they wait longer for parts than other chains do. New the area so used Yelp to help me find a location to get an extremely overdue tune up and oil change done. That's how I found this place. I stopped In on a Monday afternoon. I was slightly confused why the price of a tune up that I paid was nearly $100 more than what was advertised on their board. The longest wait, honestly was while waiting for the parts to arrive. Once they lifted my car, I think they worked rather efficiently. Total wait time 2 hours. I think this is acceptable. They also advertised free break checks with every service, the paper they handed back to me had a line drawn through the brake portion which may indicate I'm ok, but in other locations they are pretty good about detailing everything out. Not here. I'm thinking they didn't check it. My car seems to running ok. Not sure if I'd go back though. While I was waiting for my car, a lady came in and said her oil check light came on. She had her car serviced a few weeks ago at the same location. Her car was a newer car and she alleged this was the first time it's ever come on. I only saw one mechanic also. Which makes me wonder how he was single handedly working on multiple cars. In closing, I asked them to change the interior air filter and the rear window wiper blade. After writing this review I got to thinking, I checked...they didn't touch the rear wiper blade. Makes me wonder about the air filter. Got an oil change here the other day. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They didn't try to gouge or up-sell me like other places. Make sure to look out for their coupons. Found out I need new tires and they gave me a suggestion for a place that offers a good deal. They even vacuumed my front seat rugs. Will definitely come back! read more

I went in to get a basic oil change and the guys were friendly and thorough with my car inspection. I wasn't expecting to have them do a inspection on my truck but they did. They told me that the do a break inspection and a exterior inspection on my truck too. It was included with the oil change. They suggested tire rod replacement and break pads replacement on my truck. They quoted for the work they suggested and it was reasonable for the work that needed to be done. When I got in my car I noticed they had vacuumed the front areas of my truck and cleaned my dash. I normally go to jiffy lube cause they do that but I think I'll be going to All Tune from now on. They are half the price for the work they do and it is honest repair shop that isn't just doing the basic work. They want to make sure the customer is satisfied when they leave. I was very satisfied with the work and I will be back to get the suggested work on my truck. read more

Used to bring my car all the time. Now, It's under "new management" and the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever!! Called for info about battery test. The woman who answered the phone was so condescending it was sad. If this is how they treat you over the phone under the new management, I guess they don't need my patronage. I'm so sorry too, because they are located close to my home, and I've had such wonderful service under the "old management". Where is the old management and crew? My wife and I took our car to All Tune and Lube in Auburn to have the brakes done and "jack" the manager told me he was going to take the car out for a test drive. Over a half hour later he came back with a blonde female in the passenger seat. It turns out that jack used my car to pick up other customers at their homes who were having work done on their cars. In other words he used my car as a taxi for other people who had no ride. The customer he had in my car could have stolen property from my vehicle. I took my car here for an oil change. The staff was very friendly. When I made the appointment over the phone, I specifically asked if vacuuming the inside is part of the service. The manager that made the appointment said yes and that he would make sure it gets vacuumed. I waited over 1 1/2 hours for them to do the oil change, replace the air filter and do the "first time customer" overall check. Right before they pulled the car out of the bay, I reminded the same manager about having the car vacuumed. He went out to the shop, had some words with the mechanic, came back and told me that the carpets weren't that dirty but they did vacuum it anyway. I get in the car and it has not been vacuumed. Now, my gripe is not about the car being vacuumed itself, it was the bold face lie that surrounded it that caused the 3 star rating. Big picture, if an auto shop is going to mislead you about a simple thing like vacuuming your car, what else will they lie to you and mislead you about? I just moved to Auburn and was looking for a good mechanic with experience, good customer service, and repair costs not out of this world. Well, here is not where you should go if you don't want to pay out your nose. All 3 times that I have been to them the price quoted was not the price when I picked up my vehicle. There reasons were to pass the buck onto another person, adding disposal fees, etc....Where I come from the price you quote is the price you pay unless they call you for permission on anything else. As for the experience now that Gary is gone I'm not sure they have that anymore. It took them over 8 hrs to do a 4 hr job. As for customer service that is still OK. They got the worked done they said they were going to do but at what cost??? read more

Before last month I would have told anyone to go to this repair shop but after my last experience I would never have them touch mine or my husbands vehicle again. The new ownership that they so like to advertise on the front of their shop needs to learn customer service. I went in for a clutch repair and was told not only did the clutch need to be done but I all of a sudden had a bent flywheel which the part alone costs $150(on ebay) I had a second opinion look at this supposed flywheel and was told that the flywheel was indeed fine just needed to be cleaned. So my second opinion and the owner agreed the flywheel did not need to be repaired. Next day comes around and all of a sudden they don't agree with the previous days plans and they will fix the clutch but wont guarantee the work because "i refused to get the flywheel fixed" Ummm excuse me its my car and I can choose to fix what I can afford to fix and what ACTUALLY needs to be fixed. Needless to say it was fixed but when I went to pick up the car the power windows didn't work and I was blamed for it because "how do we know they didn't work before you brought in the car?" Seriously?! Why would I try and get you to fix my windows for free if I knew I already had a problem. To end it all they left greasy fingerprints all on the inside of my car going from the drivers side window and above my visors and down to the passenger window. I went to have it cleaned and got the rudest answer from the receptionist; "Maybe we should take pictures and charge more so we don't get bothered with this kind of stuff." Yes lady you should because I sure as heck didn't leave dirty fingerprints in my own car and mess up my power windows.
