He fixed the latch and the door would finally close, but it wouldn't turn on. He confirmed it was the switch that tells the washer to start, so he ordered it and was back as soon as he got the part and fixed the problem. Fred's Appliance has been disappointing. We purchased a washer/dryer unit and gave exact dimensions…read moreto make sure it would fit. They assured us it would. The first delivery team could not fit it in. They took it back saying they needed to Make modifications. The second delivery team were unable to fit it in. They sent someone else out to make another modification (cutting dryer vent ). It fit in and we thought all was good. We tried a load of laundry and the machine didn't work. Fred's sent a technician out to evaluate the situation. He said the unit is faulty, will need to order a part and will need to "tear it apart to fix it". I prefer to exchange this unworkable unit with a new one but Fred's Appliance refuses. On top of all this I just saw they are offering this unit on clearance for $1,500 less than what we paid for it. Fred's is not really looking out for their customer. I give Fred's Appliance a ONE Star review.
