Took work truck in on Thursday and it was ready yesterday(Monday) morning. 2001 GMC with 297k miles on it that showed it's high mileage. It had the break light on and check engine light. They called me Thursday to let me know break light was fixed that Friday they'd diagnose the check engine. Got a call on Friday, sure enough with dozens of problems/ codes. Agreed to have it repaired. I understood only half of the problems but I knew I was in good hands lol. Well I am astonished. The truck drives like a different truck now. Obviously no lights on but it drives smoother. In the mornings it used to shake like crazy, it no longer did this morning and when stopped somewhere it felt like it would accelerate on it own, gone. It brakes good now it used to not brake properly. I am very happy worth every penny($1,4). They gave me a warranty on the catalytic converter that they replaced. Took my car in for a smog and they said I failed because I was burning oil which cause a blue tint smoke which I don't I understand because there was no smoke there. Right after that I took it to a shop in Stockton and they smog the car and it pass. The Stockton smog place also said they don't get why I would fail because they ran it a couple times to make sure and there was nothing negative about it. I've taken my cars and trucks to this place for years. I've always been happy. The lady up front has always been very nice. I took my truck in for the routine smog. Failed the visual. It surprised me because it had smog legal k&n intake installed. I took it home replaced the intake with the factory one and went back in. Sat in the shop table and heard the technician talk crap about my vehicle the entire smog. Waited 45 mins. He said he thought he could hear an exhaust leak but could never find it. Then said my monitors weren't reading and accused me of having the truck worked on. I am a technician and have been for 20 years. I work on my own vehicles. He said oh it's because the battery has gone dead. I noticed during my smog that he was in my fuse panel. This struck me off because that is not a point of interest during a routine smog. That being said I paid my failed smog of 49 dollars and will not be coming back. There are plenty of reputable smog locations in Turlock. read more

I have to give them a 5 because they were amazing, Jimmy and his wife and crew were awesome. On Sunday morning we realized that they had stolen what at first we thought was the catalytic converter but thank god they were stupid thrives and didn't take that and it was just the resonator, Jimmy looked some parts and options up and made sure it was taken care of by the next morning. I have used these guys with three of my vehicles for a smog with a voucher i got from turlock fairgroumds for $500. Each time they started off courteous and seemed helpful. Then as days would go by and i still had no vehicle i began to drive by there. I would see my vehicles jyst parked in lot numerous times during working hours. I decided to call and would pretty much get the run around. Ive stuck with them cuz they are the in Y ones in turlock that honor the voucher and i am a disabled vet so i do not travel far. My hopes that they would change are gone. Not only did they take over a week with two of the three vehicles i sent them , they all seemed to cost me a couple hundred dolloar over what the waiver covered! What a suprise. My most recent experience is with my business box truck that drove in there fine then i got a call from them sayimg the hose blew up and it was gonna cost ME extra cuz they had to fix it before moving forward. If i wou D have decided to just take it i shiu D have been able to drive out just like i drove ut in, yet they want to charge me for it blowing up in their posession!
