You can't live in the desert without awnings. However, they need to work when you need them, last and look good. We purchased our home and over the next many months the awnings started to come apart at the seams. Jim from All Weather was recommended to me after having a horrible experience with another awning business ( Above all Awning). I contacted Jim for a quote that was fair and reasonable. From that point on our entire transaction was conducted via email. I live in PGA West and the Association there has many requirements before allowing a resident to install an awning. Jim knew the people there and knew the process that helped me gain approval to install the awning. Jim arrived the day he said he would and had it installed the same day. Jim did not require a downpayment from me that shows a great deal of trust. I had snowbirds staying at my place during the install. That night my renter called me to brag how nice it looked. Jim did show up on time and installed two awnings on my house at a top dollar price. However, he did not inform me that the fabric at each seam would wrinkle continuously from the very first time they were put in use. When asked about it Jim just shrugged his shoulders and stated that this is common and there's nothing he can do about it. If I would have been told about this in advance I would have researched the issue and found a vendor that would have address this matter prior to installation. I notice that none of the awnings on his website show the wrinkling problem. Other than this issue everything else was just fine. read more
