This company took advantage of my father. He is old and confused. He paid cash for an AC , furnace and humidifier. The AC failed inspection for electrical connections. the humidifier is leaking water and I can't warranty the furnace because the model number and serial number doesn't match the book. All Week service technicians are like shady auto mechanics dressed up as home repairmen. These guys work on straight commission and their whole goal is to take you for as much $$$ as possible. They could care less if they fix the problem, answer your questions, or leave you satisfied with the work they performed. They do not provide written estimates, then insist you pay cash, and refuse a receipt when you are finished. I have no idea how a place like this is still in business or how Arnold Diaz (Shame, Shame, Shame) has yet to pay them a visit. I was sick to my stomach when I logged on and read all the reviews after my experience. Normally, I would never call anyone without proper vetting, but I had an "emergency" and that is the exact type of situation they feed on. The workers are cocky, arrogant, and condescending. They are not particularly clean and do not wear shoe covers like their website claims. When you call the office to let them know you were disappointed with your experience, they instantly rush to defend their employees actions, even before you are done finishing your sentence. I've used All Week in the past with mixed results. My last experience was excellent. My furnace components fried on a cold Saturday and I called several plumbers late that night. Within 15 minutes, I got a call back from Alex R who promised to get the parts and do his best to get the furnace working the next day (Mother's Day). It was unclear whether the furnace could be salvaged and its location in my building make any work on it a challenge. Alex was a real pro...he communicated clearly, developed a trust and we made decisions together. EVERYONE, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS REVIEW!!! This company charges for services never performed, just because they were not happy that work was cancelled an hour later when its ordered. I had their company tech came out and did an estimate on replacing one radiator in one of the apartment units. I first agreed to their estimate of $1,900 just because I never had this type of service done before and didn't know rough cost to replace one. Then I consulted other plumbers that I know of, they told me its only cost about $500-600 for material and labor. So I called the office to cancel the job in an hour later, AJ the office manager/owner was not letting me to cancel instead he charged my credit for the full amount. I am still fighting with this charge on my credit card. I can't believe that this type of company still operating in today's business world, or perhaps they are nearly bankruptcy. I wanted to share my experience with other people out there who are looking for reliable and reputable plumbers, keep away from this company otherwise you will be ripped off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM! THEY ARE THE WORST FIRM OF ANY KIND WE HAVE EVER USED!! THE WORST!! THEY SENT DIFFERENT EQUIPMENT THAN WHAT WAS QUOTED. The material sent to our home to be installed was not what was quoted. We ordered a 50 gallon tank and they sent a 40 gallon tank. The All Week team did not know this and If we did not inspect, we would have installed the wrong equipment. THE TEAM THEY SENT TO PERFORM THE WORK DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO OR HOW TO DO IT. The team sent by All Week did not know the work to be performed. When they finally realized what was to be done, they were on the phone all day getting instructions on how to do the work. All day long. This clearly gave us cause for concern about the quality of the work. Further, the system maintenance work that we originally expected was not done. We also were told the work would be inspected upon completion by the person who initially came to our home to quote the job. This was not done as that person never returned to perform the inspection and never even called. COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ALL WEEK EMPLOYEES WAS TERRIBLE. When it was apparent things were not going well on this job, we made calls to their office. It was clear nobody knew what was going on or how to fix the problems being encountered. CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION BY THE OWNER WAS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. We finally reached the owner and described our dissatisfaction. We told him until the work was inspected and and all tasks completed, we would be holding back a portion of the bill. Rather than attempting to resolve a bad situation, the owner was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL and threatened to remove the equipment that had already been installed!! NEVER IN MY LIFE HAS ANY SERVICE PROVIDER EVER SPOKEN TO US IN THIS MANNER!! THE PROBLEMS ORIGINALLY IDENTIFIED BY US STILL EXIST AND OTHERS HAVE DEVELOPED AS A RESULT OF ALL WEEK'S FAULTY WORKMANSHIP! We originally called the company because we heard loud "popping" noises when the heat went on. On behalf of my mom in NJ I am writing this review. She was very pleased with the service and with All Week Plumbing overall. They responded very quickly, plumber arrived within 30 minutes of the call, fixed the clogged drain quickly and it was reasonably-priced. The only negative thing was the unkempt and rather dirty appearance of the plumber. Granted, its a dirty job, but a quick change of uniform after a filthy job, some shoe covers and a cleanup of tools and toolbox once in a while would help a whole lot on first impressions at the front door. I felt it necessary to share my experience about All Week plumbing and heating company located in 100L Outwater lane in Garfield Nj. This is definitely the company to call for your issues with plumbing, heating, ac, and drain cleaning. My heater went out and we called for some assistance, from the very first interaction we felt good about the choice we made. We were greeted very professionally by a young lady who took down details of our issue. We were given a window in which the technician would stop by, the technician had an opportunity to stop by earlier so he called to make sure it was ok for him to come earlier. Which was perfect as my house was freezing cold! He came diagnosed the issue gave us a very reasonable quote and BAM went to work!! Owner "Ozzy" is a scam artist. Avoid at all costs!! We called allweek when our heating went out. They charged $300 to replace a "defective" flood detector that had been falsely triggered. Just two days later, heat went out again, allweek sent a different technician who said that the wrong part had been installed and we needed to pay another $150 for the right part. We questioned this obviously, and tech advised us to speak to owner, while attempting to speak to the owner over the phone, the technician left our home unannounced! A third tech was then sent to our home the same day to install the "right" part, and this is where it gets good-He attempted to reinstall the first flood detector that they told us was defective!!! Not just the same model- the same exact detector with stains on it that we recognized to be our exact detector!! The owner "Ozzy", upon hearing what had happened, was to our surprise incredibly unprofessional and unapologetic and refused to give us our money back. Please read.... They came out to repair my AC as it was working on hot days. Immediately told me it was my compressor. $4,000 later the same problem occured 30 days after the new compressor was installed. They then told me I needed a new AC system. I called my previous AC guy that just retired. He fixed the Air Handler which he said was the issue from the begining ( I never needed a compressor) and the system has been working perfectly during the entire last week of crazy hot weather. Charged me over $400 for a $20 part that took his installer 15 minutes to put in. When I told the owner I wasn't happy with this charge it was unreasonable for the amount of time and cost of part. He told me he has to charge his customer excessive prices to pay for his advertising and the rest of his over head. He basically also told me to go screw myself and hung up on me. Scheduled a service call to investigate a leak behind the wall and a simultaneous leak in the T&P valve of my new water heater, which was underwhelming. I wanted to use a different plumber, but when there's an emergency, the best plumber is the one that answers your calls. I will at least give them one star for responsiveness and showing up when they said they would. The tech that came in had a thick accent and was hard to understand. He curtly informed me "I check everything" and got to work - just turning on everything upstairs and seeing if the wall became wet, which of course it didn't because I already checked this before I called. They did check the visible piping under the sinks and shower valves (which I was glad for, having changed many of the fixtures out myself at one point or another), but didn't use any of the heuristics I've seen gifted plumbers use to deduce whether there's a leak in a hidden section of pipe - not even checking the meter to see if it moves when everything is off. They also didn't measure the pressure on the lines (which I then did: it was normal). They charged me $80 despite the fact that we walked away with the impression that the leak in my walls and water heater were due to fairies. The writeup just says "Checked everything". Update: I'm taking this down to one star because I had a competent plumber in a week later and he found and fixed the leak immediately. He was flabbergasted that All Week missed it. read more

If you sometimes feel like contractors are a lil' bit on the dishonest side and trying to scam you for money it might be because you were foolish enough to hire these guys. We had a leak in our ceiling and, when their service person , Ronnie, came to inspect it, he said we needed to rip out the tile in the bathroom and do all kinds of crazy work to the tune of $4,000. The things that tipped me off that they were fishy is that 1. He didn't even open up the ceiling to see what what leaking and 2. The guy said his boss wanted to charge us $4,800 but he was going to cut us a deal and help us out. Why would he do that? We had met him 2 minutes ago. Well you know what they say...if it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck, don't hire a duck to do work on your house. We ended up getting a second opinion and it turns out, surprise!, you have to look into a ceiling to see what is leaking. We called Mr. Handyman and the technician they sent was fast, friendly but not fake, did great work, and the whole thing cost us $1,300. read more

Worst plumbing company I have used. Our Realty company recommended them and we tried using them twice and both times they were horrible. The first time our water heater was not working so we called them to come to take a look at it. 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment they called to tell us that they would need to replace it without even coming to look at it. After trying to get them to look at the system first, we decided to replace it. They ended up coming the next night to replace it then let us know they would need to come back to fix a pipe they didn't bring. We called the office and scheduled the appointment the next night. 15 minutes after they were suppose to show up we called them. The women that works the phone system told us she accidentally mis-scheduled it for the next morning. We had to wait a few days and rescheduled and they finally fixed the problem. I then had an issue with my toilet not flushing correctly. We tried to plunge it and had not luck. We called and they came out. It took about 30 minutes of going back and forth to actually get my plumber to the building as he was given the wrong street and then finally found my street and then was looking for a building with my apt number instead of my building number. By the time he made it upstairs the toilet was fixed. He literally came instead and flushed it and then charged me $65. I was told the manager would call me back and I am still waiting. read more

I used All Week Pluming to fix my central heat. My heater broke down on the coldest day of the year so far and All Week was able to come to my house within 2 hours. Ed the technician identified the problem and ordered the part for me and finished the job on Monday morning. He thoroughly explained the issue to me (leaking water into the motor blower) and so far the heat is operating back to normal again. I would recommend them to a friend. read more

PSA because I don't anyone to go through what we just went through. NEVER go with All Week plumbing in Garfield - They lie about the pricing. The guy walked in said it's either going to be this price or that price (if the pipe is frozen not just clogged - clogged being the lower price). They say free estimate on website but apparently that only counts for big jobs - even though it doesn't say that anywhere. They also count the time the guy worked at your house from the time he left the facility to the time he gets back to their location, counting that against, again not told to us or not listed anywhere when we called. They wouldn't give an estimate on the phone and kept saying that they'd quote it when they got there, so we're paying for you to get here and quote it to which when the job was done you tripled what you quoted (verbally). ALWAYS get the written estimate... I'm not sure why the guy thought we'd go with them after we had an estimate for half the price of what he wrote up in the end (no where near what the guy told my husband, about three times the price). My husband had the guy's boss on speaker phone as I made him call, I said something in the background and the Boss says "tell your woman her man is taking care of it..."... Seriously that has to be the WRONG thing to ever say to a customer especially one you've never met. I wish my husband read the one comment before he let them step foot into our house. All I can say is wow! 2 PSEG service calls could not fix or even access my central AC unit in the attic. In desperation, I called All Week because they had emergency after hours service. I called at 6pm and they were at my home in 45 minutes. The service man was able to squeeze into the small crawl space that the 300 pound Pseg guy wouldn't even attempt. Sadly, the old unit needed to be replaced. Not only did they show up on time, but got the job done in half the time they estimated it would take. It happened to be my daughters high school graduation day and we needed to get dressed, take pictures and get out on time.
