I brought in a family oil painting that had been damaged as it was shipped cross-country and needed to be re-stretched and re-framed. They were helpful, candid about what they might or might not be able to do to rescue it, and gave both best and worst case scenario estimates. Rico was also very patient and offered good suggestions as I picked out a replacement frame. I'm happy to report that they were able to save the painting, re-stretch it and re-frame it. On the packaging, I also noticed they'd left several notes to the framing staff about handling the canvas with care. It turned out beautifully, within the time frame they'd estimated. Not only do they do great framing but they are wonderful help they give you suggestions of they do great a work and very polite friendly I use Luis Miguel who is a big help and if you need framing done this is the place. I've gone in twice in the last year for repairs. One was for a broken glass in a frame (my clumsy fault). They had done the original framing. Today I went in again with a painting that had the wire cable for hanging fail. The painting came out of the frame on impact. They secured the painting and added a new hanging cable (much better than the original which they did not do). They didn't charge for either repair and today they did it while I waited. I stopped by Allan Jeffries today, to see if they could help me find the artist's signature. None was showing on the painting itself. I thought it might be occluded by the frame. I can't even describe how amazing my experience was. My dog had just passed away and I wanted to have her baby blanket and dog tags framed. Jason was so helpful and caring in making sure the layout was right and doing his best to meet all my needs. Amazing service. I had a broken piece of glass from a wall sconce. I wanted to replace it with plexiglass. I brought them the glass from another sconce and they cut the plexiglass on the spot. I asked for the bill and the man handed it to me and says- "no charge"! I will be using them for all my framing. read more

I've been coming here for years to get my art framed and the gentleman or owner? is always patient with me in selecting the matting and framing. I may have had over a dozen art work and photos graphs framed here. The prices are truly reasonable, and even below nearby competitors. Sometimes for funsies, I come here and check out the unwanted frames in the back. There are some gems to be picked here and at 60% discount value. These guys are fast. Let me start off by saying I never write reviews but I went into Allan Jeffries Framing today to get a new frame hook for a picture since mine came off the back of the frame. Even though I only had a small repair they treated me like I was a top tier customer. They greeted me right when I walked into the door. Very friendly. Gave me a couple different options but we went with the wire going across the back of the frame since they recommend it. Said it's much better and I'll never have that problem again. He went to the back, put the wire on, came back to the front to give me my picture and told me it was complementary. Sooo basically wasn't even in there for 5 min, got my issue taken care of, best customer service ever, and was free!! Will definitely be going back for all my picture / framing needs. I've been here several times - once to get frames for and mount for posters I had made for my boyfriend's birthday, once to get a quote on a frame, and once to have d-rings installed on the frame of a very old family piece of art. Each time the experience has been wonderful - they're very knowledgeable, and love what they do. You might come to realize that they are out of your price range (they were out of mine for the quote on another frame), but if you want it done (and done well), I would definitely make a stop here and check it out.
