All the guys at Town Fair Tire in Berlin, Vt are great at what they do, and stayed until the job was done, no matter that it was after closing hours. I returned a week later for my alignment, and was treated just as good by the other guys on staff. These men are kind professionals that gained my trust, and I wont be going anywhere else for my tires and alignments. It had a slow leak, and I had to keep stopping and reinflate the tire. I called and left a message and the owner got back to me the next day. We scheduled the appointment and when I brought my car in, he was ready to get to work. Within 10 minutes, he had my tire off the car and mounted to inspect it and found the issue, which took another couple of minutes to fix. It turned out that paint had clogged the valve stem and his feeling was that the other tire place that recommended Mackinaw to me could have fixed the issue. The owner fixed the issue, mounted the wheel back onto my car and in the end did not charge me, because it took less than 15 minutes. So, with handshake and a thank you, I was on my way. Side note, the dog is friendly and fun to talk to while you wait.

I had mentioned to Jacob about distributing helium balloons to the kids while they waited patiently for the vehicle service in mom/dad's car... it was just a suggestion... I did not think he would take me literally... But he went further... I was the destination of the idea he ran with... After a 5-minute wait, I received an oil change today in addition to a safety check... tire pressure check... vehicle lights... and car wash... (the high center brake light assembly was also changed!) With humor... aplomb, dignity... and professional assessments of my truck... And... Jacob handed me a coveted red helium balloon... Horrible, the worst around! Took my new Audi A6 in for its first oil change. Shortly after I…read morestarted having transmission issues. The transmission went into lock mode and I couldn't drive it. I had to have it towed to two shops until they found... the transmissions drain plugged was pulled by someone that did the oil change that didnt know what they were doing and likely put it back as soon as they noticed they screwed up. My transmission is supposed to hold 3.5 liters but only had 1.5 in it. They almost cost me $14,000 for a new transmission (they did cost me a couple of thousand in towing charges and trying mechanics trying to figure out what happened). Separately, I had tried to make an appointment for my wife's tires since she bought them there but they wouldnt make an appointment and were rude. Me and my family will never go there again. They have lost our business forever!!

The reason written was the side passenger mirror was not functioning. The cause was a broken turn signal in the mirror. After searching for a used mirror and having it installed, I returned to have my car reinspected. 8 weeks had gone by. This time I was told the car failed inspection due to the license plate light being out and a small dig on one tire (which was there during the first inspection). When I questioned Rob he became quickly agitated, defensive and ranted unprofessionally! Wow! i have never in my life encountered a friendlier group of mechanics. my sister's corolla broke…read moredown and she took it to goss. they told her it would cost up to $1,000 to fix (which might not be worth it). they then let her park it there for a few weeks while she figured out what to do with it, AND in the meantime one of the employees said that she might be willing to buy it off of her since she can get it fixed on the cheap. in addition, my sister was only charged $20 for the diagnosis. are you kidding me? AMAZING! i felt like buying everyone there lunch when i drove away today.
