I brought my car in for winter tires and specifically requested studded winter tires when I booked the appointment. I'm new to the area and openly told them I'm unfamiliar with winter tires and was relying on their expertise to guide me. I later learned that not all winter tires come with studs pre-installed -- they must be added separately, even if the tire is designed for studs. That would've been fine, had this been clearly explained. Instead, no one asked me to confirm whether I wanted studs installed, even though I had requested "winter tires with studs" in my original phone conversation. The tires they ordered were indeed studdable tires, which means I would never have declined studs on a tire specifically made for studs -- especially after asking for them. When I picked up my car, I noticed the studs weren't installed. I called to clarify and was met with rude and dismissive responses. I was told that I had declined studs, which is simply untrue and was never discussed at any point during the appointment. They refused to acknowledge any miscommunication on their end. I drove back so they could add the studs. While there, I was spoken to disrespectfully, my old tires were called "crap," and when I returned to pick up my car, I was told that although they normally don't charge for studs, they were charging me the full amount because installing them was an "inconvenience" to them. Update: I reached out to Monro about the issue and received no additional help. Overall, a really disappointing experience. The one-star reviews are legit--save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else for tire service. read more

This business has the worst customer service of any area shop. I have never been sworn and yelled at for asking where I should park. Jason and Zac are incompetent and should be fired. The tire prices here are at least $100 more than other area shops. They charge my children $160 to put the winter tires on that I purchased from tire warehouse. They over schedule and have no problem leaving customers sitting, waiting, for 3 hours. I recommended heading over to VIP tire. Its clean, the service manager is pleasant and smiles. (No swears or threats.) Compare that to the filthy cramped space of tire warehouse. 5 dirty chairs, 2 old magazines from 2010. Gross! read more

I set an appointment and took the day off. I received a confirmation for the appointment and when I arrived the person who was only working with 1 other person told me my appointment was rescheduled for next week. He seemed rude, but I understand he was busy. I went down the road to Town Fair Tire and they were able to fit me in. The thing that annoyed me was the appointment confirmation was made and I took the day off to get it done. A day wasted! read more

Fixing what other places are unable to fix. Brought my car to another place 3 times over 2 weeks for tire pressure lights being on. Every time I was told everything was fine. During that time one of my tires went totally flat within 12 hours of it being checked out at the other place. Today, I took it to tire warehouse instead. They found a staple puncture to my tire, checked the bead around the tire, and checked all my sensors to make sure there were no other issues going on. Love that they worked until they found the issue, instead of sending me away saying there was nothing wrong like the other places. read more

I called two weeks ago and set a appointment for today. On the phone I said I HAVE TIRES I WANT PUT ON. KEY IVE ALREADY BOUGHT TIRES. to then call this morning on verification of my time and how much my appointment is going to cost. To find out that me waiting two weeks to get winter tires on isn't happening today. My job requires me to drive in my own car. I took today off to proceed to get my car ready for my JOB I can't do without the reliability of my car. If you guys don't put on new tires you SHOULD SAY THIS ON THE phone. I had TW repair/plug a flat tire for me 2 months ago. I started having a slow leak shortly after it was fixed, and I assumed the plug wasn't holding air. I drive on a lot of dirt roads around Vermont. Due to an extremely busy work schedule, I decided to not fix it right away. At first I had to fill the tire every 2 weeks, but then it started needing air every 2 days. I decided to swing by TW to see if they could fit me in. I assumed they were going to charge me $25 again to fix it. I hoped not. Joe, the service manager, warned me that it could be a new leak. I agreed. Not surpised when he said they found another leak. However, they wouldn't do a change over when I got the tires I wanted from somebody else even when they didn't sell those tires and weren't busy at the time. Way to appreciate a loyal customer. Downloaded Yelp just to post this: One star. We booked an appointment two weeks out, to get our tires changed over (since winters in Vermont are terrible with non-winter tires on.) Our appointment was for 9AM, they opened at 7:30AM. My fiance left a contact phone number with them twice. . . they didn't bother letting us know we were cancelled until we got there. Then we were told that they cancelled our appointment and were only doing X amount of customers. Which would've been fine, if we didn't A.) book ahead two weeks, after all thats the point of reservations, or B.) If they just called us before we headed down in a snow storm. This shows a clear lack of professionalism and care towards their clientele, they wont get my business back. read more

I made an appointment to have my winter tires put on. I received a confirmation that says "Your appointment has been confirmed at our Tire Warehouse store Wednesday November 3 at 4:30. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact the store". I showed up at the stated time and date. Joe proceeded to inform me that I didn't have an appointment even after I showed him my phone confirming my appointment . He was rude and tried to convince me that my text clearly confirming my appointment just meant that I had confirmed a request for an appointment. It was an absurd statement from a rude and unprofessional individual. Now despite having made this appointment weeks ago, I have to wait another month to have my snow tires put on. If I could give this place "negative" rankings, it'd be Negative 5-Stars. Here's how to be the worst place for business and end up losing a $900 sale. First: when a customer enters your store after being told by a tire manufacturer (in this case Pirelli) that any tire shop which sells its tires can file a tread-wear warranty claim, have your store sales person tell the customer literally that she should not "have purchased tires online," that she needs to return to the online place - and that there's nothing the shop can do (until the patient customer points out that she'd be buying the replacement tires from your place) well... that was the first alarm. Second: when the customer provides the tire sales receipt along with the dealer receipt showing costs for tire mounting/balancing on the car, encourage the sale persons to then literally accuse the customer of somehow attempting to "scam" Pirelli (because the dealer receipt showed "winter tire mount" and the tires were all-season; despite the dates on the tire receipt/mount receipt matching - and the fact that the online receipt shows the tires were shipped directly to the dealer). Third: finally, after insulting the customer, accusing the customer of criminal activity over a "tire warranty", instruct your sales staff to inform her that your firm will process the warranty claim (after Pirelli finally returned the sales person's call) and then never follow-up with the customer (not even returning her call when she calls to inquire of the status). So, two flats later (on the same day because of the sh!tty Pirelli tires), I just paid nearly $900 to QuickLane (a Ford Motor Company) for four brand new GoodYear tires (and I've filed a BBB and Consumer Affairs complaint regarding Pirelli) and I've come here to provide my insight into what was not just the most sh!tty customer service/experience ever - but the stupidest: lousy customer service means you lose business. Forever. And you also earn a lousy reputation - in this case well deserved. And QuickLane will get a great review - because its customer service was astoundingly grand and heads-and-shoulders better than this joke of a place. read more

After schedule problems to get my winter tires swapped out, I get there for my appointment and am waiting for about 1/2 hours when they tell me it will be $107 to change over my tires! Nothing was ever mentioned about this high price. If they were going to charge that much, usually a change-over is $40-60. Will not be going back, ever! read more

I have had really good service with them and I have had not so good service. It just depends who they have on at the time. I went in today to have a tire put on as a spare and they would not do it. He said it had a patch on it. ( they put the patch on ) He also said the tire was 5 years old. The jeep is only 3 years old and they came on the jeep. The tires were also kept under cover. They had more tread then the tires that were on the jeep. He also pointed out that the tires on the jeep were not the same size. I pointed out that I bought them at tire warehouse. So they sold me tires that weren't the right size and I never even looked. I trusted them. I also bought summer tires and again I didn't look at them and was wondering why they were making so much noise. It turned out they were mud and snow tires. Again I trusted them and did not look at the tires before I left. I buy lots and lots of tires from them but I think I should look somewhere else to do my business. read more
