After waiting 24 hours, I tried following up repeatedly with him, copying the sales manager each time and received no response. Two days later, I called and the salesperson picked up the phone, clearly unprepared. I pointed out that by this point, their price on the vehicle had dropped but he never revised his quote to reflect the difference. He told me he would get back to me that afternoon with a revised quote. Instead, when I did not hear back and called again, he told me the car had been sold to someone else. (Surprise!) One salesperson does not necessarily reflect an entire dealership except here, it turned out, he apparently did. I brought this experience to the sales manager and GM, offering to share my correspondence with their salesperson. They declined, instead making the generous offer to sell me a new car. No thanks. Maya Angelou's standard warning never fails: "When someone shows you who they are, believe it." Businesses like McGee Hyundai are the reason that car dealers are among the least trusted occupations by the American public, competing mainly for the title with "Used car dealers."

I told Jack and he said okay but that he wanted to have a meeting first. he brought me to his office and essentially "let me off easy" saying that they can't afford to pay me because I wasn't making any sales. which I totally understand and was honestly upset because I loved the people there. fast forward to a few months later of trying to get on unemployment and Jack has not only lied once now but TWICE about the reason for firing me. claiming he fired me for misconduct when he had given me a hug and told me " I hate to do this to you". He took this as far as fighting in the dept of labor court over this. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and can't handle fighting him in court when I know I did nothing wrong. Crooked company. Pay cuts out of nowhere, can't miss 2 seconds of work for and family emergency, and clearly can't receive unemployment after working for them. The owner is nothing but money hungry.

My wife and I just purchased a 97 Miata from Walker just over two weeks ago. Upon closer inspection we found that not only did 2 rear brake calipers and 4 brake pads need to be swapped(the rear brakes barely had any pad left), but there were 2 large bends in the frame below. See photos below. Trying to come to terms with this problem, I decided to just pay close attention to the car on the road and to move on. Just 10 days later the car stalls on me and starts making loud knocking noises. I pull over, check the oil (fine) and go home in frustration to deal with getting it towed the next day. Fast forward two days, the car is on a lift, sub-frame removed to inspect the crankshaft and lower parts of the engine and I'm now being told I'm better off buying a new engine. Two weeks in, I'm going to have spent thousands on a car that I've put less than 300 miles on. I understand used cars are used cars, but I figured I'd reach out to see if Walker could offer any assistance given the unfortunate circumstance I'm now placed in. After finally managing to get someone to speak with me, I've been told they'll do nothing because it worked when they had it. I was even told initially that the undercarriage is in good condition. Did they not see the massive problems with the frame? I thought buying a Mazda from a Mazda dealership would imply the vehicle would leave the lot with brakes and last. Very dissatisfied, would not recommend!

Totally down to earth demeanor with a clear desire to understand what is going with your vehicle. No questions are stupid questions here. These guys are patient like VW Saints. Seriously. You're never made to feel like you're wasting their time. (They're all great guys but Terry is especially fabulous). The other tremendous thing about Walker's service department is the practicality with which they treat the repairs. The outrageous estimates I used to get at other places are consistently countered with more cost-effective solutions at Walker. I love "Erma" (yes I named my Golf) and Walker keeps her driving and thriving.

I'm not sure how he came to the conclusion that my suspension was not intermittently shaking "violently" between 65-75 MPH when I had a large sign in my car forbidding him from driving it due to metal fatigue, which is why it was just flatbedded 40 miles to 802, or without him driving on a road that comes close to 65 according to my GPS. But I know you professionals have your secrets! I'll still have to disagree that road tests are required, since no other Toyota agrees. I'm a bit confused how Steve ruled out suspension resonance as a potential cause when he asked me to explain what it was AFTER my inspection, even though I had told him I was there due to suspension resonance damage, and then he told me that it was "way over his head" when I explained it (road bumps are making the car bounce at 10x speed). But I'm not a service manager, so who knows? STEVE REESE DOES, and he says this car is in EXCELLENT shape for a 2015 Toyota. Although every other Toyota dealership disagrees with 802 again, and says that the car I bought 10 months prior that Toyota is still selling for $15k is only worth $1-4k, and therefore legally totaled by my state laws. It's incredibly honorable of Toyota to give Steve a chance working on suspensions even though he has no knowledge about why suspensions are designed the way they are, and therefore doesn't understand how they work. I'm sure nothing bad could come from that! Unfortunately if he would have watched that video of my vehicle oscillating wildly in front of a large oncoming truck (the video he understandably refused to watch- Tinyurl. com/VehicleSafetyVideo), he would have seen the definition of suspension resonance at the end. I do wish that Steve could've found a reason that all 12 tires I had on the car within 51 days were wobbling and getting worn down. But at least he was able to diagnose my car as having wobbly tires, and also generously offered to help me increase those numbers to 16 wobbly tires in 85 days. I don't necessarily agree that the issue was my $1,100 "economy" Wrangler Steadfast tires with 379 miles on them, since Goodyear, as well as Toyota employees from multiple dealerships, including 802's General Sales Manager, says that they're premium tires! So I'll have to disagree with 802 that replacing them with the same exact premium tires would help align drivability with my premium ride expectations. I didn't know that not wanting your suspension to oscillate 10 times per second was a premium feature. Hopefully this comes standard in the next model! Thanks Steve for putting my mind at ease by certifying that my vehicle was safe and in great condition for its age on multiple occasions. I was convinced resonance was intermittently violently shaking my car, making it hard to stay on the road, destroying 12 tires and my suspension, and filling me with existential dread and nausea every time I drive. But it turns out it was just my 3rd set of premium-economy tires since April 30th wibbly wobbling down the road, as they do, and hysterics! As I mentioned, I'm not a mechanic, so this has all been very hard for me to comprehend. Luckily VT is a one-party consent state, so I was able to secretly record our conversation about how my car is completely undamaged and definitely not shaking so I could go over it later with a MAN to help explain it to me.
