Just gorgeous yellow roses that were delivered to my 98 year old aunt for her birthday. They arrived early in the day, which was just perfect. These are her favorite colors, yellow with one orange in the middle, just as I requested. Just beautiful and quality roses. I always get great value flowers from Allen's Florist at great prices. Ordered a great, beautiful dozen roses for my wife for Saint Valentine's Day. Had them delivered to the house with a box of delicious truffle candies . They were a big hit. Huge red roses surrounded by babies breath Perfectly displayed in a glass vase. It's been a while since she last received such a display of my love. I was blown away at the surprise and happiness it gave her. Allan 's is without a doubt the best florist in our town. read more

I had a very difficult time trying to send flowers via another vendor. The recipients had to be involved, so it was quite disheartening. I chose Allan's based on he Yelp reviews and couldn't have been more pleased. They checked with me to make sure of the remote delivery and delivered an arrangement that greatly pleased our friends. I have never used Allan's myself, or even been in their store, but I have had more than one flower arrangement delivered to me from Allan's. And have to say their arrangements are among the nicest and most beautiful I've ever seen. The flower arrangements arrive fresh and in excellent condition. They include several unopened or just-opening buds, so you get many days of enjoyment. And the drivers/delivery persons are polite and friendly. read more

I ordered flowers from Allan's in Prescott, Arizona from Laguna Beach, California and crossed my fingers. A friend of mine photoed me a text of the flowers at the memorial service. If you go to Allan's web site and click on "Roses", you will see EXACTLY how they looked. The only difference is that I ordered 18 instead of 12. Allan's Flowers went above and beyond - they deserve more than 5+ stars. I placed my order over the phone mid morning and they delivered the sympathy flower arrangement that same day. Apparently, there was a major snow storm the day prior and the road to my destination was not cleared. Instead of giving up, they found an alternate route and got the flowers to the final destination. The recipient said they were heavenly and I'm so thankful that it worked out. Got a hang tag on Saturday afternoon indicating I'd missed a delivery.... (I appreciate they didn't leave it in the porch to bake in the sun!). I called the number and left a message, noticing that they are closed on Sundays. Monday morning by 10 still hadn't had a return call. I reached to to arrange to come pick up the flowers that day. I do understand that the cost of everything is rising but for the very first time I feel like the value is far less than the cost. History

Established in 1914.

In 1914 the Allan Family moved to Prescott from New Jersey. They opened Allan's Flowers shortly after arriving here. They had greenhouses and grew the majority of their own flowers back then. The shop has been owned by several Prescott families and in 1999 Rakini Chinery and her husband Jim purchased the shop. It is an honor to be the stewards of such a long time business in Arizona.

In 1989 I moved to Prescott with my daughter to start a new life. I went to work at Allan's and in 1999 purchased the shop. We are lucky to be the owners of such a fabulous, local flower shop that has been in business since 1914. We are passionate about flowers and love our business!

When I asked for something thicker and sweet. They showed me the 25 Star Balsamic and I was in Love. I took home 2 bottles and a bottle of Pineapple. The Pineapple is lovely on a Spinach, Tomato and Mozzarella salad Since that purchase in 2016 I've gone through 11 bottles of the 25 Star. I get 3 bottles at a time shipped to my home. It's the only thing I put on my salad. It goes with everything. I've had it on steaks, burgers, eggs and when I'm craving something special I'll grab a spoonful and enjoy it like chocolate. Which it goes with nicely. I just ordered 3 more since I'm about to run out. It's just a nice as some expensive Balsamic's I've had in Europe at a fraction of the cost.

Another thing about shopping old pawn is that vendors are usually more open to accepting offers. A very nice couple operate this store. Although you will see a sign with the Ortega name at the Galloping Goose just a few shops away, they are not the same owners - they are cousins. Ortega's has been here a while and it surprised me that I had to submit a YELP listing. This is definitely a shop worth visiting.

There are two stores and a back patio full of fun household, garden, jewelry, Christmas, clothing, and snack items. One of the owners came out and warmly greeted us as we checked out the fountains on the patio. She said we were welcome to come in and make a cup of coffee. She explained that we were welcome to explore the entire front and back patio and both shops but to stay off the second floor of one of the shops because these rooms are rented out to folks visiting or traveling. The whole area has a really happy energy, with fun trinkets and gifts packed into every corner. There's a restroom available for customers.

Upon going into the store we saw many workers in there but no one seemed to care they had a customer, we were finally acknowledged by an older lady with dark hair (I wish I would of got her name) she was very rude from the beginning even with us telling her what and why we needed it done, she said in the very beginning "I don't think we can do that, but I'll ask the jeweler" after going to the back with my rings for what seemed like forever she came back out and rudely told us if he did it you'd be able to tell where he cut it and that to reset my ring it would be over $400 - it wasn't about the price it was about the absolute rudeness we received from her from the minute we walked in. I had lost my husband 2 days before that, it was hard enough going out in public but when she showed no care in the world like we were just ruining her day by being there. We decided they did not deserve our business. We decided to check another nearby jeweler while we were down there. He was the nicest guy, he quoted us a price less than half of what Raskins quoted us and had it done in an hour! It was done perfectly and NO you can not tell where he had to cut it. He even saved the piece he cut out for me! He showed remorse in why we needed it done and actually gave a shit. Sorry Raskin but you have lost my business forever. I do not usually do reviews, as I also have businesses and hate bed reviews but you earned this one. Hire people who care and like their job! Sincerely, A morning family

I'm new to Yelp but could hardly wait to share how much I love Love LOVE this shop!!!! It's has been my go to flower shop for many years. They are quite friendly, have awesome services, & everything looks wonderful when the intended person receives the arrangements I've ordered or bought!! They last several days & bring lots of enjoyment. They even have a flower happy hour which makes for a quick fix on the way home or for a last minute gift for someone! I was recently looking for flowers for my reception & had some flowers in mind. I went in to speak to them about ordering some table arrangements & told them what I had in mind; they looked up the flowers & gave me a quote. When it was more than I had budgeted for they helped me find other flowers in the same colors that weren't quite so expensive (due to them being in season) & helped me stay in my budget. With my awesome past experiences I have no doubt they will be spectacular for my reception. :) read more

My husband brought home the most gorgeous bouquet of stargazer lilies for our anniversary. They were beautifully arranged and lasted for ages, with almost all of the buds opening. He also brought home a stunning bouquet and a small box of truffles for Valentine's Day. I've used Allan's to send centerpieces over the holidays. My mother-in-law is not especially easy to please, and even she commented how lovely the arrangement was. Whenever anyone asks about the best local florist to go, Allan's tops my list every time. I have never had a bad experience with this shop and have never personally talked to anyone in this small town that had less than a stellar experience with Allan's. Truly a local treasure. read more

Great experience! It was quite a while ago (in 2007) but I got the most beautiful corsage for Prom from my boyfriend who bought it at Allan's Flowers. I went to the shop first to look at what kind of corsages they had (since I'm French, I didn't even know what a corsage was so the owner was really nice and showed me their book full of examples of the flower they could use for them). Of course, I didn't buy any but my boyfriend bought one for me and gave it to me on Prom Night. It was perfect. Elegant and beautiful, better than I had imagined.
