Organic fruits and great prices, this place won my heart. We were on our way back from San Francisco to Loma Linda... An 8 hour drive. We did a pit stop in a gas station nearby and saw this cute little kiosk with fresh beautiful looking fruit. We bought 3 pounds of cherries for $8.00... which is a great price considering what I pay for one pound at Walmart. Also bought 6 apricots for $4. Best tasting apricots I've ever had.

Nice local fruit stand. Cherries and apricots were sweet. They had other products such as almonds too.

I definitely recommend the assorted dried fruit bag -- peaches, pear, apricot, Apple, and prunes.

This was my first time ever at this particular farmers market and I was surprised when I pulled up…read moreto see so many tents!! I decided to track my steps and it was actually a quarter mile in an oval shape. One and they had an information booth as well as a live band, at the other oval end they had some volunteers making/designing your own reusable bag- such a cute way to give back to the community. Apparently this farmers market is going plastic free soon! All defenders seem to have their own price margins and one vendor was selling each bundle of herbs for a dollar. Sadly, she was all out of basil, but had a bunch of mint, lemon leaves, and tarragon or some other parsley type leaf that I've smelled before, but never have tried to cook with. Most thunders had prices by the pound, some vendors had pre-bagged vegetables for five dollars. I've been to the San Jose farmers market and they have basically the same vendors, but their bags are three dollars a bag instead of five. A handful of the vendors here did state they were California certified Organic or USDA Organic, but it didn't seem like they washed their fruit off after they picked it. Lol just interesting to me on the presentation since their root vegetables had mud on them. I'm sure they taste good but presentation means a lot to me. Hee Nevertheless, I bought a handful of different vegetables and this delicious onion bread from a local Italian gentleman who actually makes pesto without nuts so that he's not free bakery and he can cater to those people with nut allergies!! It's a local vendor, so please check them out! I wouldn't mind checking out this farmers market again, but I'll probably go just before closing since I know they give better discounts then 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning. Hee

Clean up commonly occurs around 1pm with sales happening after 12pm. Lots of parking as it's located at once a vibrant mall. Minus 1 star dude to rude af folks; whether that's customers or vendors. For example, most of the time there isn't someone regulating the samples so folks' fingers are dabbing in there aka hecka gross and throwing the tongs back in the bin with no care in the world.

There were so many stands with freshly baked treats, fruits, vegetables, and homemade pasta. We even got to sample some of the fruit, and everything we tried was ripe, crunchy, and so sweet. As a kid who loves cooking, I thought the farmers market was amazing. Seeing all the fresh ingredients made me excited to try new recipes, and I can't wait to go back again. 5 stars!!

A friend invited us to visit her family in Discovery Bay, and we were luckily coming on a farmers day weekend. I assumed it would be a typical small one since we were in what I considered the middle of nowhere but I was sorely mistaken. The first indication that I presumed incorrectly about this farmers market was that parking was difficult with only an hour or so left of the market. The second was the actual sight of the market itself. This market spanned about two blocks and was filled with more than just produce which was a welcome surprise to me. All of the vendors were so friendly and one guy even trash talked another peach stand that my friend had supported and got her to buy from his stand. Vibes were immaculate here and loved the variety! Would definitely return and look forward to when I do.
