Thank you to everyone at Allay for your attention to detail, sense of urgency, and kindness during this difficult time. The work you do truly goes unnoticed through this pandemic. Due to covid several funeral homes I called did not offer any option for viewing and the 2 that did in the area over charged. Allay presented the option to do a video viewing through zoom which worked out because we had family from out of state who could not travel. We worked with Lawrence and he helped us arrange our viewing and it turned out perfect. He made recommendations to have speakers and music in the background. Afterwards cremation took place and Lawrence delivered everything. He gave us updates throughout the entire time until the end. I can't say enough about allay's service. I was blown away with Allay and in particular- Lawrence Suarez's invaluable assistance with the arrangements for my beloved mom. Lawrence was extremely professional, responsive, empathetic, and took the utmost care with me every step during this difficult time for my family. It could not have been any easier. I went onto the easily usable website and could not believe the price, which was all inclusive. I chose to upgrade the urn, but that was the only additional fee, which is an optional add-on. What was most impressive was how responsive Lawrence was. If you had a question, he would answer right away, day or night, weekday or weekend. I cannot tell you how important that is in such a difficult time and I am most appreciative of his discretion. He also honored my request for a personal pick up in lieu of shipping. From the beginning to the end of the whole process my case was handled with care and professionalism.

Losing a loved one during the COVID quarantine was beyond excruciating. Sadly, my uncle was diagnosed with terminal cancer during this time and we knew his passing was imminent. In trying to prepare for that reality, I started trying to find cremation service providers. I started with the big name I was familiar with (Forest Lawn). They quoted me a starting price of over $4000 and each additional service came at a hefty add-on price. I then called a few other places I found on Yelp that had 5 star reviews. That was how I found Allay. Of all the cremation businesses I spoke with, it was Allay that exuded the deepest kindness and care. They offered a truly all-inclusive package that was less than 1/4 of the Forest Lawn quote. I worked with Lawrence who I cannot say enough good things about! He was so patient, kind, compassionate & communicative. He responded to all my calls and questions quickly as with genuine care. He took care of all the details & paperwork (and had even sent me forms to fill out in advance of my uncle's passing to ease the burden that would exponentially increase after his death). He personally delivered the death certificates and ashes to us once they were received. There were several delays in getting the death certificates from the County due to COVID and Lawrence gave me regular updates along the way to keep me informed. This was my first experience making arrangements for cremation services. With all the other stressors of COVID, as well as the onslaught of grief due to the impending & then ultimate death of a beloved family member I couldn't take even on more ounce of stress. Allay took care of absolutely everything! I know it may not be easy trusting a cremation service that you find by chance on Yelp but believe me--if ever I need a cremation service in the future Allay is the one I will use.
