Have been here a few times. All of us occasionally get bronchitis, strep throat, or another fun infection. That's part of the human experience. Here you can usually get in fairly easily. My main irritation is the computer sign in nonsense. They aren't the only ones doing this, but I just don't find it a cinch. When I'll I'm even more disliking computer technology. Once in nice doctors and nurses. They've correctly diagnosed my various infections. The prescriptions they ordered for me worked. If you have a serious injury, please go to the emergency room. Yet for illnesses like the ones I mentioned, here's a place to consider. It's convenient to the 24/7 CVS pharmacy too. read more

Very disappointed by my experience here. I came in for an urgent appointment for an upper respiratory infection. At my appt, Dr told me to call back in two days if I wasn't feeling better so she could prescribe an antibiotic. Two days later, I call and reach the front desk, she said she'd handle it and call me when my Rx was ready. I never hear anything - call back four times over the next 24 hours and reach voicemail every single time. Ended up getting my Rx from a different doctor. Absolutely unacceptable and I will not be returning to this practice. Only giving 2 stars rather than 1 because I was able to get a same-day appt and the PA who saw me was nice, competent, and addressed all my concerns. read more

I sliced my hand open, was dripping blood, and went there for immediate care to figure out if I needed stitches. The front desk asked me if I needed stitches, and I said that I didn't know and that I was there to find out. For the next half hour they debated if I needed stitches with each other, without looking at my hand or talking to me, and then realized they didn't have time to make an appointment for me that day. They then booked me an appointment for over an hour later at another places to get stitches. Again, I didn't know if I needed stitches because I hadn't seen a doctor. They don't seem to actually offer immediate care, appointments only, and they seem to need you to diagnose yourself before you arrive. read more

This is not a great doctor's office. I initially had a good first experience when I had an appointment with Dr. Ebun Taylor. My resting heart rate was very low so she suggested I get an EKG. I told her I would call my insurance first and then make another appointment. I made another appointment for an EKG and there were no notes stating I needed an EKG. I wasted an entire evening going back to the doctors office and paying a copay for nothing. It's also very frustrating that there's not a direct line to this office. You just feel like a number at this office. It's not personable and the staff aren't helpful at all. read more

Recently, I had an appointment with a physician at AllCare in Tysons. When the nurse came in, she asked about the reason for my visit. I explained that I had a sore throat and also requested blood work since I was concerned about my condition and hadn't had blood work done in over two years. However, the nurse informed me that they could only address one issue per visit, and I had to choose between treating my sore throat or getting blood work. Unresponsive for months then they'll hound you three times a day to set up your annual check-up. They SUCK.

I went to this place for my annual check-up, and the male physician I saw was extremely rude and unprofessional. He started asking where I was from and then brought up political topics, hate speech which was completely inappropriate and had nothing to do with my visit. He doesn't know me at all, yet spoke to me in a condescending way, saying things like "I'm the doctor, I'll tell you what you need." I came in with a few concerns I wanted addressed, but he brushed them off and didn't take care of them. This was a total waste of my time. I ended up calling to switch doctors just to have someone else review my test results. I will definitely be finding a different provider for my next visit read more

Strongly advise my trans sisters to not use the endocronlogist Pallavi Heda. Absolutely my least favorite trans care in 5-6 yrs of having trans care. There are a slew of other problems with AllCare too. I could go on for pages and pages. Closing a facility due to a covid outbreak but not notifying me not to come in -- and I wasn't the only confused person at the door of a closed facility that day. Bloodwork mistake where I had to come back the next day to get the right bloodwork done. A portal where you can message your doctor but then they might not get the message, and also might not reply. Having certain doctors only work 3 days a week so you can't get fluid care and bounce around with different doctors a lot. My wife had problems too. But Alisa Miller is a great PCP -- possibly the best I've ever had -- so there's still reasons to sticking around. You can get quick appointment, sometimes even in the middle of the night.... And their covid testing services are speedy compared to most. So, my rating is 2 stars: "Could have been better". Though in Pallavi Heda's case, I've never had worse. read more

November 2020 - COVID Review: My husband and I found out that we might've come in contact with someone that had a positive COVID test. AllCare came up on the list of in-network providers for our insurance that offers testing. **In order to get tested for COVID, you must have a video visit with one of their providers first. Most insurances will cover the visit and the testing free of charge.** Scheduling an appointment online was so quick and easy! AND we were able to schedule same day appointments, right after we were notified that we should get tested. About 30 minutes before my appointment, I was called by the nurse to get a quick medical history intake. The online video visit was also efficient and fast. I informed the PA what my situation was and he put in the order for me to get tested later that day. The drive thru line for testing also didn't take long at all - we arrived about 45 minutes before it closed. The test wasn't too horrible although it was a bit uncomfortable. We had our test results within 2 days (and thankfully we're both negative!). Fast and efficient! I hope we don't find the need to have to get tested again, but if we do, I will definitely be going through AllCare. read more

Been going there for years with Dr. Heda in endocrinology. I ran out of my thyroid medication, something they know I have to take everyday since they prescribed it to me, and they would not give me a refill. I explained that I already made an appointment for as soon as I can and am about to run out, but they did not care. Absolutely ZERO empathy from the doctor or the nurse that I spoke to. Will never use their services again. People who do not care about the well-being of others should not be in health care. read more

Very easy to book an appintment online. You can schedule Virtual Doctor visits too! The receptionist was friendly and efficient. The nurse and nurse practioner (Perrin) were fantastic. I was in and out within 20 minutes with a prescription. The automated text updates are great. You can easily access the records from the visit online. The nurse practitioner called me a week later just to follow up on lab results, see how I was doing, and see if I had any questions...wow! Such great service. read more

Horrible experience! I would not recommend this medical office due to their billing practices. I schedule an appointment for my husband for ear cleaning. When I called I check with them if they provide this type of service, I was told yes please make an appointment online. On the date of service we arrived and my husband went inside, doctor saw him and told him he doesn't need an ear cleaning he is good so we left within 10min of arrival time. After couple of weeks we received a bill for $496. I try to call billing department many times and no respond, I sent an email and no respond, I went in person to the clinic to find out what we were charge for, but receptionist just say sorry we don't have a manager I'll ask regional supervisor to call you of course no one ever called us. After talking to insurance company they paid $293 and rest was our liability to pay. To clean ears with out insurance usually cost between $80-$150 out of packet, so u imagine my frustration for not getting service done and paid $203 for 10min seeing doctor with out any health concern. My insurance company was able to get in touch with their billing department and I was told that $44 was doctor screening ears bill and $159 as a first time patient visit. Now let me ask you a logical question, how they change us for first time visit patient if they didn't clean his ears? No one provide us any service! It's a simple SCAM! BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM ALL CARE PRACTICES!!! They should notify patient for all this charges and disclose this information ahead of time. If I knew it I would never schedule this appointment from a first place. Dont go here, just go to other immediate/urgent care out there or ER. My fiance has been waiting for test results for almost a week now (urine culture) to rule out infection. They didn't give him any medications because they want to wait for the results.. called different times of the day since Saturday, nothing. The facility never picked up, the operators don't know what to do (wont escalate to supervisor) and wont release any results without the provider (that's not working until the following week!!!). Questionable billing practices and medical guidance. Completely misdiagnosed a relative of mine. Went recently with a terrible cough, given some cough medicine and that's it. Took relative to urgent care the next day and X-rays confirmed bad pneumonia which required antibiotics, a breathing treatment, and inhalers. I'd go elsewhere. read more

Stay away! I should have read reviews here and on other sites before making an appointment with them. Very rude and unprofessional. Both doctor and a nurse had so much attitude. I had to return multiple times for the same thing: they couldn't fill out the form correctly. Simple 3 page form ! I don't have any illnesses or complications, just needed a form to be fill out by physician and they kept missing information. When I came for the third time ( because the first two wasn't enough apparently), receptionist tried to charge me for the visit. Hm, really? I would not need to go back second and third times if the doctor or nurse could fill out the form correctly the first time. After the first visit I was told the doctor would call me within a few days to discuss vaccine results , of course 4 days later no one called. So it took me multiple voicemails and calls to get my results. This office was closest to my house that's is why I chose it, but I would much rather drive than deal with all that again. Made an appointment to be seen in person for a cough and was sent a text that they had to change it to virtual because they aren't treating anyone in person with cold/flu/covid symptoms. I get that we should be cautious about covid but I'm unsure how I'm supposed to get the help I need through a virtual visit. I ended up just canceling. 30 min wait to see the doctor although I had the first appt (8am). I came to Dr. Donald because my friend recommended her, but I was not happy with the experience. No introduction, short evaluation, and not very personable. After a 5 min "check" she couldn't determine anything wrong with my foot, and sent me to get X-rays since they don't do it in house. First of all, I want to thank the guy who helped me to determine the problems in my billing, I just forgot his name. He asked me to delete my previous negative review which is I did because he will look into the issue, which is he did, but when I asked about their hefty charges about my check-up, I did not hear any response any more. I AM NOT GOING TO RECOMMEND THIS HEALTH CLINIC (ALSO KNOW AS SYNERGY IMMEDIATE CARE) Let me justify my reasons, but I am not going to be biased. 1) I kept on asking the status of my Tricare insurance, but the reception lady who accommodated me, did not give me an answer if my insurance still eligible, she just took my insurance card and my ID, scanned those then put in their system, so I assumed that it was accepted and had no problems. This is unethical, they should be informative and transparent. If the insurance has no problem, the patient has to know that from the very beginning. Although they found out that my insurance has expired because my husband just recently left the military, but we called the Tricare, they will able to fix it, by re-enrolling again as dependent of reserved/veteran. We are on the process of this. 2) Dr Etman is a good OB/GYN doctor, but his charge is too much for just a check-up. (See my uploaded bill) I was charged for $685 (out of pocket) as an outpatient (I even never had any diagnosis). So, $310 just for a check-up and the transvaginal Ultrasound is $375. I showed this to other people who work in a health care industry, they are telling me that THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR A CHECK-UP. Let me say my insurance will cover this, but still, it is ripoff just for a checkup. For me, this is a corruption in the health care industry. There are lessons that I learned from this (You do note, too) - It is better you ask the people you know like from colleagues from work, family friends, and even neighbours who are their doctors and how much they usually charge, not just you look on the internet. - If the hospital/clinic refused to give you information about your insurance before proceeding to your doctor's appointment, better not to pursue it (if it not serious health concern) because you may end up like what I experienced here. read more

This place has turned into a sh!t show. Used to be good when I first started to go, but I guess it's hard to find good staff now. My girlfriend has multiple occasions where her doctor messed up her prescription orders where she had to spend hours trying to get someone on the phone (which is impossible), and having to go back there to talk to someone to fix it. This last time (which will be our last time) I went with her to figure out ANOTHER mistake her doctor made where she didn't put in for generic medicine AGAIN even though the doctor reassured her she did. Let's say the staff there is insanely incompetent and rude. There is a lady who is over 6 feet basically talked to my girlfriend like she is a child. And the doctor wouldn't make a mistake and she is wrong. Wouldn't even listen to what my girlfriend was saying and kept talking over her. The nurse definitely seemed like someone who HATES her job and lives to tell people no. She was raising her voice at my girlfriend and the only time she shut her mouth was when I intervened. She kept saying it was my girlfriend's mistake. Then it turned into how CVS messed it up and was going OFF in the back about how stupid they were. Let me tell you, I heard EVERYTHING because her voice carried through out the entire place. And when my girlfriend told the nurse CVS can't change the prescription, nurse told her she doesn't know what she is talking about. This went on and on. Finally another nurse came and told her she will my girlfriend, but she will be charged for a new prescription. This was insane she has to pay for the doctor's mistake. So the other nurse takes her back, and the ENTIRE time the insanely rude tall nurse was talking sh!t to someone about my girlfriend which EVERYONE in the office heard because she is so god damn loud. HOW PROFESSIONAL. And it gets even better. The other nurse who was helping my girlfriend finds that the doctor DID NOT PUT IN FOR GENERIC prescription because she never checked a box that reads "GENERIC". So the doctor messed up even the doctor told my girlfriend MULTIPLE times she did it right. On top of that the tall rude nurse NEVER CHECKED like she said she did. This has happened multiple times and I went into see it myself. And I witnessed the utter incompetence in ALL ITS GLORY. BTW way, the nurse in charge was apologizing over and over again to my girlfriend about what happened. Yet she NEVER tried to correct the rude nurse's behavior. And apparently the tall lady does this a lot. Bullying the staff and patient. My guess everyone is too scared to tell her to stop? So what the hell is the manager doing? Do you really lack staff to run a place where people won't be belittled and bullied by someone who CLEARLY hates her job? And the receptionist first refused to give me the manager's contact number till I just stood in front of her telling her I'm not leaving till I get one. Finally got an e-mail. IF you are reading this, I just got back from my vacation which was delayed because of your staff. I will be writing you. I'm 100% sure we aren't the only ones who has complaints about your staff. I have seen that nurse and another shorter nurse with a big mouth bullying other staff and belittle patients like they are a child. You manage a place where people go to get help, and yet you as a manager turned it into a utter sh!t show. Do you also feel like you are too scared to hold your staff accountable? IF so, don't manage people. It's part of the job. I won't be back and if you are thinking about finding a doctor's office, plenty of others in this area to go to. Everything about my experience here was positive. I'd never had blood work done before and was pretty anxious, but Dr. Robin Donald and the nurses on staff were so kind and reassuring. I asked a million questions, yet they took the time to answer every single one. I never felt like they were trying to rush me out or dismiss any of my concerns. They provide primary care now also. I just started coming here for primary care. They provide appointment reminders and have visit notes and lab reports available through their online portal. I'll keep it brief. The front desk has always been pleasant but the medical assistants I've encountered have very little bedside manner. From the moment they grab you from the waiting room, there isn't much exuberance and most the time I've gotten more of the attitude vibe. I understand they are dealing with people all day but at the same time that is your job. Luckily Allcare has the option sometimes to do video appointments so I usually elect those when I can. I see Dr. Pallavi Heda in this particular office. She is a very good endocrinologist. She is very thorough and takes her time to do proper testing before deciding on treatment and diagnosis. The office is sparkling clean. The support staff is very good. They have a LabCorp technician on site which saves trips to the lab as well. read more

This by far, has been the worst experience ever at a physicians office. I made an appointment with the endocrinologist here and was impressed during the first visit. After there, it goes down hill. Calling back two weeks later, I was informed that Synergy had gone bankrupt (per the receptionist) and if I needed to get a prescription refilled, I would need to come back in and see the doctor. Why would I spend time to tell a physician the exact same information as I had given them two weeks prior to get a refill...because the prior company did not transfer any medical records. Great! So, I call back and received word that the physician apparently does have access to the past records and was told by the nice gentleman on the other line that they would be able to refill a prescription for me. I gave them very specific directions on the dosage I take and that they would send this over to the pharmacy that day. Well, the prescription was sent, however it was the incorrect dosage. Back on the phone, I call and was told that the physician would contact me (this was on a Friday). No call back...called again the following Wednesday and now am not able to get in touch with anyone. Considering I am out of the medication I need to live, I'm pretty upset, but that is why there are other physicians out there in the world that listen to their patients and actually care about them. 9/8/19 update: What a scum company. One month after they said they would waive the copay mentioned in my previous review, I recieved a bill in the mail. I had been a patient of Synergy Immediate Care prior to before they were bought out by AllCare for 1-2 years. 1st visit: came in, told them what I was there for and for standard prescription refill. Insisted I need hardcopies for my prescriptions and was denied as they said they had sent it over electronically even though I warned them it wouldn't work. Went to the pharmacy and lo and behold I was not able to filll and had to go back as they said they would have it ready for me when I got there. 2nd visit: came to the office, the provider was not there and had left me only one of two prescriptions. Went to pharmacy to get it filled and turns out the provider had written the prescription wrong and they would not fill. Had to go back again. 3rd visit: provider expected me to pay a copay. I told them no and it was waived. Provider showed up 1 hour late to my appointment time. Wrote me the wrong prescription again. I did not leave without getting the correct prescriptions this time. Keep in the mind, each visit I had fully informed them of exactly what my prescriptions were each time, had they just looked at what I was prescribed the previous visits they would have known. I was informed that he would no longer be providing refills for my prescriptions as he did not want to anymore. At the end of the day, I have spent 3 visits to this office and 4+ hours to get 2 prescriptions refilled. And then rejected as a future patient. I believe I have been rather patient and understanding regarding the situation but the fact that after all that trouble, I'm now forced to find a new provider because of their incompetency. They made no attempt to compensate me for my time outside of repeatedly saying sorry. In no circumstance would I recommend coming here or providing them business. My provider here was a Gevorg Sedrakyan, MD. The only person who was helpful here was the receptionist, he was very attentive and made sure the appropriate parties were notified. read more

I was able to book an appointment from home on my computer for the next day and they were able to complete the chest X-ray I needed in office. Dr. Miller was excellent. In fact, I've decided to make her my PCP. read more

Normally I'd prefer to have an in-person visit, however I totally understand due to Covid-19. The connection on the zoom call could of been better. I had trouble adding insurance and photo ID, after calling and speaking with the receptionist, Courtney she advised me to forward all necessary information to the company email and she then uploaded everything manually. She was super helpful and made the process a whole lot easier for me. 10 out of 10 recommend All care of Tyson's. read more

So I can't speak for the 1 star reviews... But I think this place is quite convenient. Dr. Taylor is super chill, and knowledgeable. Granted I come here for regular check ups and stuff and have no idea what visiting this place for the specialists are like. But in my experience so far, I like this place quite a bit. Pretty good online portal, friendly front desk person, good hours, actually respond to messages instead of forgetting about it. I'd say be careful when you read online reviews cause specific stuff shouldn't reflect on the office as a whole. My experience has been legit, Dr. Taylor has been kind, and I haven't found anything to complain about yet and I don't anticipate that I ever will read more

Tysons Allcare Location- Fifty minute wait time!?? Allcare is this how you treat new patients?! After checking in and waiting thirty minutes, I asked the receptionist when I would be called in which she responded by saying they are unusually backed up. After prompting her of my wait time, I can see her frantically working something out on the computer. I wait another twenty minutes, get called in, and the nurse practitioner comes in and starts giving me an attitude on what symptoms I am experiencing and after telling her the symptoms she starts kicking the blood pressure cart out of room like she doesn't want to be there. The doctor, APARNA RAIKAR, comes in and was great. After informing her that I waited fifty minutes she responded by saying that she didn't even know I was waiting and it was told to her that I was checked in fifteen minutes ago when I have been waiting for fifty minutes! So there must have been a miscommunication between the front of house and back staff or the receptionist forgot to check me in. Bad first experience all around. read more

The doctor didn't even come check on me, she wrote me a prescription for cough medicine. I received a bill for almost $500.

I went there for a blood test like doctor asked me to walk in the morning with fasting. I told the front desk staff the same and they said I had to check in even though it is just for blood test where as doctor told me I can walk in. I told them I am fasting and the urgency of the test to be done on time. They told me that nurse is getting ready and the blood test will be done right away. I waited and 10 mins has gone, 20 mins has gone and 30 mins has gone. I politely asked the front desk staff again how much more time it will take. One of the staff person got intervened and frustrated and irritated at me. I can tell that she was prepared to attack me if I ask about the wait time on the test because she looked at me that I got up from my seat to ask her about the wait time. She came at me with extremely rude nasty behavior and she did not want listen and she did not want me to ask the question. I asked her why the frustration and she attacked me and accused me with different things for asking. That I what I got being extremely poilte. I waited there for more than 30 mins and nurse did not show up still and this is for a simple blood test. I think they just lied to me because I do not think there is a nurse there because either nurse did not get in or nurse is extremely lazy and do not want to care about the fasting patient. Everytime I ask they said nurse is setting up the needles. Which nurse in then world takes 30 minutes to set up needles. Then nurse showed up with an attitude. She is the worst physician I have ever gone to see. She was the absolute definition of uncouth. She was very curt, short, impatient and arrogant. Anything I said was challenged in the most unprofessional manner. This was a deeply uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience.
