Ive used Allcare for YEARS, they just switched to Closeknit.The fact that not only it took a hour on the virtual line to be seen, with no update on the status. I understand we all get busy, but THEN I call customer service to help, the guy left me on hold for another 45 minutes and then it disconnected. Finally had gotten a hold of someone and suddenly my appointment doesn't exist EVEN THOUGH I RECEIVED THE LINK, TIME AND TEXT MESSAGES! Had to reschedule and there was no one else i could talk to, the guy didnt even care! Wouldn't anyone else be upset? Mind you its a doctor appointment for a because of the fever and chills last night with a chronic headache and cough until im gagging. Ill just go elsewhere and you should too. read more

This location rarely, if ever, has walk-in availability. They might as well take the sign off the door. I have tried to walk-in twice within the past month and was turned away. You'll have more luck being seen if you have an appointment, which defeats the whole purpose of this being an "immediate" care clinic. read more

I started going to this location in 2024 and for the first 10 months or so it was fine. Robert Nolte was an excellent doctor. He genuinely cared about my mental and physical health and well-being, and he helped me get back on a path towards being healthy and happy for the first time in many years... but then he retired less than a year after I started seeing him. The clinic then put me with a new doctor, Rumee Gyawali, who was cold, rude, inconsiderate, and never once acted like she cared about me as a person or as a patient. She ignored what I said in our conversations about my health concerns, reacted with disdain when I brought up issues I have having with mental health, and treated me worse than any doctor has treated me in literally decades. Doctors like Rumee Gyawali are the reason I stopped going to doctors at all from 2010-2024 and I remain absolutely devastated that Robert Nolte retired so soon after we met. He was the only doctor who actually helped me improve my health in a long, long time, and now I have to go back to anxiously searching for a new family doctor at a time when I desperately need to be focusing on rest and rehabilitation. Neither my heart nor my mind needed this burden right now and I can't even be angry about it because I might literally die. Thanks for nothing, Allcare Lake Ridge. read more

Worst Medical Facility in Northern Virginia - Stay Away! I've been a patient at Allcare Family Medicine in Lakeridge, VA, for over five years, and what began as a generally positive experience turned into an absolute nightmare during my recent 40-year checkup with Dr. Kavita Kalidindi. Dr. Kalidindi ordered an ultrasound, but despite my detailed explanation of the pain and my history with a double inguinal hernia, she wrote an order for the wrong area--resulting in a pointless ultrasound. During the ultrasound, it was clear the technicians were scanning the wrong area, and they informed me that a new order was necessary to examine the correct location. I tried repeatedly to reach the office for a new order, but my calls were met with endless ringing and no response. When I finally got through, they assured me a new order would be issued, but days turned into weeks with no follow-up. After finally getting in touch with Joanna Losier from management, I was told to pay the ultrasound bill upfront, and she promised to submit a request for reimbursement. I promptly sent the invoice along with the documentation for the initial office visit. To my dismay, rather than receiving reimbursement, I found that my bill from their office was simply reduced. After much persistence, Joanna texted me claiming she never received the invoice. I resent it, only to be told that leadership wanted to contact the imaging center to see if they could drop the bill and perform the correct ultrasound. Despite this, when I reiterated that I had already paid out of pocket, as she told me to do and I just wanted to be reimbursed. Joanna responded curtly that they would not be reimbursing me because the ultrasound had "findings," which were issues I had already known from a previous scan. Adding insult to injury, Dr. Kalidindi gave me flawed advice regarding an HIV test. She insisted I didn't need one because I had already had one in the past, completely disregarding the fact that routine screenings might be necessary based on current medical guidelines. This careless oversight further illustrates the incompetence and negligence prevalent at this facility. The entire recent experience with Allcare Family Medicine has been frustrating and disappointing. The staff's recent lack of communication, poor handling of billing issues, and questionable medical advice are deeply concerning. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs--there are far better options out there for your healthcare needs. read more

Stay away! Particularly if you book with Dr. Nolte. Biker my appointment for 1:30pm... checked me in, etc... dang near 2pm... No sight of the Dr. I walked out at that point and let the front desk lady that I was leaving and they needed to not charge me for anything as the DR took his sweet time! What is the point of booking a time a slot since he thinks patients have all the time in the world! Sir, the world does not revolve around you! People pick specific times for a reason! As a licensed healthcare professional, I do not recommend going here. I'll give the positives and the negatives. This is a physician owned multi-site practice. I was told by one physician I saw that he works there because he can see 2 patients an hour vs. the 6 he used to be required to see at his old practice. It sounded awesome until I soon realized the model has to make up money somewhere for seeing less patients. Positives: 1. Easy to book an appointment and see a physician quickly. 2. The physician has 30 minutes to spend with you. Feels more thorough. Negatives: 1. You soon learn that there is no follow-up on tests and labs ordered even with negative outcomes. You must book another appointment. 2. You cannot call the location you saw directly. You must call a general, gatekeeper number. 3. There is no phone option to ask a follow question to your physician or nurse. You must book an appointment. 4. The physicians are sent to different locations constantly. That means if you go back for a follow-up and to review tests, you start over with another physician. 5. In my personal opinion, the staff at the Lake Ridge location should not be in a healthcare setting. They are most unprofessional staff I have encountered and frankly, their lack of care can put a patient's health in danger. Just my experience. I wish you well on your healthcare journey. read more

Hangry, very unhappy patient!! I do not normally leave reviews but this was very frustrating. I booked my annual checkup for 3 pm. When I got the email saying I had to fast, I was unable to change it so I fasted all day. When I asked about the bloodwork, the doctor said "Oh, we don't do that here anymore" and said the staff would help me find the closest lab so I could go directly there. The front desk staff had no idea what was close, and failed to point out they would all be closed within 10 mins anyway! It did not help that were snarky - "She should have brought snacks". Overall, I found this practice unprofessional, uncaring about the problem they created, and rude -- not anyplace I would want to go with an actual medical problem. read more

Then when you go to their website to make an appointment, you get to the office, and they tell you that they don't accept appointments through their website. Made a pre-surgery appointment at this location. First time being here. Tiffani at the front was extremely friendly, professional, and informative. After, I was taken to the back by Jackie, who did my blood work (I hate blood work). She engaged in interesting conversation to keep me distracted from fainting and the pain. I did not feel a thing! Once again, super kind and friendly. Then came Dr. Naji, she answered all my questions and was very relatable unlike most doctors. The whole visit felt natural unlike that perception that most of us have about doctor visits. I will definitely return to this location as there was no attitude or rudeness from the staff as is the case in most doctor offices. My whole experience was amazing and I figured these ladies totally deserve the recognition. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. read more

Worst experience in the Lorton location, saw Andrea Aliaga PA-C, and reception Fatima, we made an appointement and had to wait 45min to see someone. from the time we walked in the door we felt a sence of cold and and rudness(no smile or welcoming words). They had a problem with me going in with my daughter, I had to ask to talk with management to be able to go with her. Service was HORRIBLE. So happy that I was out of there read more

The Doctors here are great. The location is good and there is never a long wait to get in. Ive been using this as my primary care for about a year. My only complaint is that in the last 6 months, there have been numerous problems with the admin/recording keeping. Three months ago I had some bloodwork done, and when I called a week later to get the results, I was told I never had any bloodwork done. Last month, I recieved a 300.00 + bill from them where they missed billing my insurance company, and ive had to call to correct that. Today, I went in for a visit and was told that I dont have insurance! ( Ive been with the same company for over 12 years). After showing them my insurance card, they fixed that issue as well. read more

Did the online video appt, and Kelly (an NP I think?) was extremely unprofessional and condescending. Cut me off before I finished explaining my health concerns. The televisit was over within 2 mins I ended it shortly after she lectured me saying she was the medical professional and I am not and that is why I came to her and if she's telling me I need to do something then she knows better than I do. I only asked a clarification question about a follow up I was confused about and needed reassurance on. This place can be hit or miss. Last year, my husband almost took his finger off trimming the hedges with a motorized hedge trimmer and he came here and they stitched him up right away. Really quick, really professional, great experience. Since then, I have been here twice in the last couple of months as an urgent care and have received less than stellar service. I came in once with flu symptoms and the PA Emily wasn't exactly nice or kind. Very sterile, a little bitchy, but I was in and out with lots of medication in about a half hour so really can I complain? My most recent visit has been a disaster. Came in at 9:15 and at 10:05 still haven't seen the physician on duty. There was one patient here before me at 9:00. After a half hour in he patient room I asked the nurse how much longer t was going to me and she had a HEINOUS attitude and told me physician was with the patient who was here before me...so you are telling me it's taking you 45 minutes to to see just one patient and their concerns are so severe that you still haven't gotten to the second patient of the day? The nurse also didn't ask for any of my symptoms. She ran a strep test and haven't seen her for 45 minutes. Like I said, hit or miss, but be prepared to wait and be seen by physicians and nurses with attitudes. read more

Went back to Dr Express with daughter who had a UTI. Saw a different doctor who was nice but... Two weeks later when she was running a fever and complaining of back pain we take her to her regular pediatrician who discovers that the doctor at Doctors Express under prescribed her the antibiotic. Instead of a proper weight ratio of 4 teaspoons 2x pr day the Doctor at Doctor Express only prescribed her 1 teaspoons 2x per day. Which lead to her getting a KIDNEY infection. To top it off Doctor Express never cultured her urine to nsure the antibiotic they prescribed would treat her infection. Sloppy and careless! read more

~Disgusted with Doctor's Behavior~ I have never in my life written a review about a health care provider. I sure am now. My husband went to Dr. Express due to mouth/tooth pain. He has had this many times before as he has a genetic disorder which the teeth wear away. We were unable to see his Dentist so I called to see if he could get in on a Sunday. We could, so in we went. Things started off Great! Front desk was wonderful. Then it went south. He waited an hour and a half to be seen (but we can say that it was Sunday, so that makes sense). Now in the Room! Great! Or not. The Nurse didn't know how to work not 1 but 2 different thermometers. Finally my husband showed her how. Okay fine! That happens. Then in comes the Dr Nancy Fleurancois She insinuates that my husband does drugs. The man doesn't even like to take Ibuprophen. When he tells her it is a genetic disorder, she asks about all the tests he got from his Dentist and was dissatisfied with the answers. Later she brings back up that she really only sees this kind of tooth decay with drug use. Seriously? Then she does the sinus tap. Her nails poke him (not painfully but she pokes him). When he says the only discomfort is her nails, she feels the need to argue with him! Dr. Fleurancois says that she keeps her nails short enough that it has to be his sinuses. Wow, because my husband can't tell the difference between a fingernail poking him and internal sinus pain? Lastly, as she is examining his mouth, Dr. Fleurancois actively has a disgusted look on her face! I'm sorry, my husband is a human being and deserves to be treated with respect. Yes he has tooth decay, as stated before it is genetic, not drug use. This behavior is absolutely horrendous. It may not be my place to say that it's inappropriate but I work in the health care field and I have never in my 11 years of experience treated someone who has any sort of genetic disorder with disgust. Finally Dr Fleurancois decided to just passive aggressively say that it doesn't matter if it was a sinus infection or a tooth pain because it is the same treatment for both and she doesn't want to argue. Seriously? This has to be the worst experience ever for my husband. Warning. If you decide to go, and your get Dr Nancy Fleurancois you better be in perfect health or she will just judge you right out of the gate. read more

I came here yesterday to get checked out (cough & fever) i was wondering if I had the flu. The dr diagnosed me by giving him the symptoms i was feeling. I was told it was a mild cold and to take Sudafed. Later that evening my temperature was up to 101.5 so I went to the ER and was diagnosed with Influenza A. If i didn't go to the ER and listened to what this dr said, it could've gotten extremely worse. read more

I am so glad Doctors Express in Woodbridge has Sunday hours and accepts Virginia Medicaid. Robert, the medical assistant, was very friendly. The two women at the front desk were very helpful. I normally take my daughter to the Hoadly Medical Care where we are usually seen by a Physician Assistant......but at Doctor's Express in Woodbridge we saw a REAL doctor! This place is horrible. For starters they said they accepted my insurance. Only to find out they do not and are out of network. Not only that I just now received a bill 3 months later saying past due via email for $153!!!! Never once was sent a bill and then randomly get an email showing this balance. On to the actually "care" I made an appointment with a female because of the concern I was having. When the doctors came in the room it was a male and female... Mind you this my going to be my first appointment at this location with bloodwork. Not a good indicator of my future interactions with this medical group. This post only relates to my recent experience (or I should say lack there of). I got here as soon as they opened at 8am due to sickness. Tried to open the door at 8:01am. Locked. Waited outside until someone opened the door. Finally one of the employees came out and told me that she couldn't open the doors because none of the doctors were there.! I brought my friend to be seen for severe ear pain. The receptionist asked did he have any other symptoms which he says a sore throat. She proceeds to say because of the pandemic we can't look at your throat; you'll have to make a telemedicine appointment. I mean are you serious? Why are you even open as urgent care? So you just assume anyone with a sore throat or cough has COVID? Needless to say, we went to another facility discovered my friend has a severe ear infection. They checked ears, nose, and even his THROAT with the pandemic going on! I'm an RMA for a pediatric office we see clinic patients for acute care with COVID symptoms and non-COVID symptoms. Also, your receptionist needs to learn to control her facial expressions when telling patients they can not be seen in the office. It's rude and humiliating to the person.
